Hi, trisonic. Another strategy you could try, is to Google up some local brick-and-mortar vape Shops. Even though they can be a little more expensive for some items (compared to online sales), they bring a lot to the table. They're all different, of course, but some features are fairly common.

You can talk to someone in person that might be very knowledgeable, and able to help you figure out a lot of stuff in a short amount of time.

There may be a "Sample Bar", where you can sample all of their flavors (usually for free). This is a big help for finding flavors you like. Since it's (usually) free, there's no harm in trying odd flavors you would never spend money on. (They usually give you a disposable silicone mouthpiece, to keep from spreading the Ebola around).

They might let you try out some different e-cig models. You might find something that is perfect for you in one day, instead of spending months of aggravation and hundreds of dollars buying half a dozen types of e-cigs online (like I did).

Often there is free coffee, and you just might meet some people you want to hang out with for a bit. I've been vaping for years, and I regularly wander into one of the local shops, and spend a few bucks. I recently found a new flavor (Kringle's Kurse, by Halo) that I would never have tried otherwise. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I suck that stuff down like it's The Antidote.

Just take things at your own pace, and don't get overwhelmed. There's no pressure, and you're not doing it wrong. It took me 3 months of just trying to vape more and smoke less before I finally quit for good. It happened when I wasn't paying attention. One day I realized I hadn't smoked in more than a week, and that I didn't want to smoke, not even a little. I honestly don't know when I smoked my last cigarette. It was that easy. You can do it.

Good luck!

Wow! So many helpful people!

I’m in New Jersey about 20 miles from Manhattan.

Name me a couple of reliable Online stores that take C.C’s and I’ll be up and running!

Btw my favorite E-Liquid is “Safari” - which seems to be based on Turkish style of tobacco - which is odd because I never smoked Turkish type cigarettes! I smoked British Rothman’s for years or Winston when I could not find them.

Thanks, again, guys.

Best, Pete.

Glad to see so many responses helping you out. I have several brick and mortar stores in my area and I try to buy juice and gear from them (like to help out the locals), problem is they can get a little pricey and don't always carry what I'm looking for. When Im looking for certain items especially hardware I use Myvaporstore.com; they have a ton of inventory and usually competitive prices, the site is easy to use and ships quickly this is my personal favorite. Check out the E Cigarette Suppliers section on the forum and there is a ton of web based businesses that would be glad to help you out.

Thanks WP!
Got my shipment of an MVP2 + assorted goodies from MVS this morning - that’s two days with their free shipping. Credit where it is due...

I’m still trying to find a good source of a wide selection of Tobacco Type E juices. I don’t really care for (at the moment) all the fruity stuff. Something like a non additive Winston, Rothmans or the pale blue “American Spirit” brand - I know that it is ersatz and not real native American made).

Any ideas or names?

Thanks, Pete.

Sorry I didn't check back earlier to give you the names of online vendors where I picked up my setups. For future reference, I normally grab replacement atomizer heads from MFS, ECigs Plus, or Vapor World. I used to pick up my ejuice from Zeus Juice or Freedom Smoke USA... I've received good customer service from both, and both have reward points that you can earn to get discounts on future orders. I vape tobacco flavors, and liked both vendors; however, I found that I needed to let both brands of juice sit/steep for about a week after I got them in the mail before I vaped them. I'm really bad about ordering several weeks ahead of time, so I go to a couple of vendors here in Springfield, MO that steep their juices before they sell them. I also get my atty heads from them in a pinch, but the local vendors here tend to mark up the prices on their gear up substantially.

Hope this helps.

like most people say taste is subjective, but in my opinion we are all built with the same basic building blocks and therefore we all enjoy certain aspects of basic flavors. That being said the personal human element does take effect in this situation. I unfortunately didn't dabble in the basic tobacco flavors for long and moved right into different base flavors (fruit, candy, bakery etc.) I cant be too much of help for plain tobacco flavors, I can however suggest one I do love and one that many people regard as the best. The one I fell in love with is a vanilla tobacco from thevaporroom.net, it has a nice, rich, full body tobacco with a good hit of vanilla to balance out the harshness that can come with the tobacco flavor, I do understand this isn't exactly what your looking for. That being said, one tobacco flavor that always seems to be a sure winner for everyone I personally know is nicoticket.com's H1N1 or commonly know as the virus. I have been a customer of nicoticket since I started vaping and every flavor I have tried is a true winner, plus H1N1 did receive ECF 2013 best tobacco award!!!! clark and katy are very active in the community, the customer service is great and I truly feel they practice what they preach, the vaping community deserves exceptional juice. Their prices are a tad higher then the bargain sites, but it is worth every penny. they offer shipping guidance, helping those understand if there will be any delay in shipment; in my own experience nicoticket is fast, usually shipping next day and receiving their goods in about 4 days. here is the link to ecf's best of 2013 results, look under tobacco category and you'll find the cream of the crop and a step in the right direction http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/511252-best-ecf-final-results.html"]http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/511252-best-ecf-final-results.html[/URL] Again keep up the good fight youll get there eventually

happy plumes!!!!!

wow, didn't mean to sound like a politician, stating one thing and contradicting it in the next sentence. To avoid confusion and frustration; what I truly meant was even though taste is subjective, when a large group of people like something most would agree with said group. SO check out the link I included and see what others like as well.
