So the story goes...started smoking at age 11....have tried to quit many times with either cold turkey, the pills (which made me very sick) and hypnosis....none of these worked. did some research for a couple of weeks on e-cigs, talked to a couple of members from a business forum i'm on that have used ecigs and made a purchase from V4L. Started on ecigs last thursday. There is definately a learning curve but i think i'm getting the hang of it. I actually tested myself yesterday with an analog cig and i might as well have licked a dirty ashtray lol couldn't take more than 3 drags and i was grossed out so i'm thinking i'm converted YAHHHH! I look forward to reading and learning more using this forum and hopefully one day be able to answer questions...
Thanks:vapor:

I love what everyone has posted and it's all true...glad to hear I'm not the only one that refers to my "toys" as paraphenalia. My daughters have fun with that one!! I started out with the KR808's and V4L as well. I did the same as you, after a week I tested myself with an analog...thought i was going to be ill...it was just gross. Good Luck with your new venture and if you feel like you're going to cave...vape and VAPE more!!

I'm fairly new too, and just recently had my first "I'm really done with smoking" moment. For a couple of months now I have begged a cig off of people very infrequently. I didn't really enjoy them, but I figured that was because no one had MY brand of cigarette. The real test came when I was able to smoke one of my (previously) beloved Camel Lights, and it tasted like a sack full of...something unpleasant. Congratulations on your conversion!

Congrats helpinghand.

Yes vaping does have a learning curve and the more you do it the more you like it because your vaping experience gets better by every minute you do it. I did the same thing had an analog about two days after vaping and wow, was gross, harsh on my throat and just a bad experience vaping is so much cleaner and tastier too. Believe me you will never look back, at least that's the way I see it.
