I just got my Kensington through the mail today, gave it a quick charge and WOW!!!! Mine is the European version I assume as it is called 38021EU and available here Kensington Rechargeable Portable Battery Pack with USB: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

It comes with a world wide AC adapter and some plugs for various sockets of unusual shape (including UK of course hehe) and a USB to mini USB lead and also quite a roomy carrying case too!!

Its the size of a credit card but thicker of course (duh), is piano black with a battery meter featuring blue LEDs and has USB output socket for the passthrough and mini USB in for charging.

It doesn't come with adapters for things such as mobile phones with funny connectors but they are available seperately.

So after the charging that took 3 hours I plugged in my trusty USB passthrough 901 style and began vaping!

For vapor production and throat hit where 1st is the best
1st - Kensington 38021EU
2nd - Apple USB wall charger 1 amp from an old 4th gen iPod
3rd - PC USB socket
4th - PowerKhan chinese no name USB battery pack
5th - Powermonkey USB battery pack

It smokes better than it does on the mains via my iPod charger!!!!

As you can see I have tried 2 other USB batteries without success due to no satisfying vapor or throat hit and I am going to say what others have said its bloody awesome! Although I have not done a long term test, from what others say it lasted them 3 days use before needing a recharge.

Don't forget you can also charge other USB things such as your ordinary e-cig batteries on the USB charger as well as phones and portable games consoles.

Why are you still reading this go and buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Tribal,

I was wondering if you have had the same experience as me - I have an excellent usb battery from 'aboutbatteries' - 2400mAh - 5V / 1amp output.

It produces excellent vapour from a penstyle, but is so powerful I have to be very careful not to take too long a puff otherwise the atomizer heats up too much and I get that revolting burning metal taste!

Are you using a penstyle pass-through, and if so which atomizers are you using? Any sign of the burning metal taste yet?

No burning taste as of yet, mind you I just replaced my penstyle atomiser, the old one was fouling carts turning them brown and would not attach to the passthrough too good hehe! I also have the 901, it was making the burning taste on it but it just needs topping up more regularly than usual, a drip into the atomiser can help kick start it, its the same for the penstyle, it probably just needs a little more juice :)

I love this little Kensington f*cker!

I charged mine the day I got it (Friday?) and have used it with my 901 intermittently with my pilot (and it's battery) and I have not had to charge it again and it still has half charge! They gotta make a passthru for the pilot.. I will be in heaven!

Thanks to you Tribal.. my 801 and passthru from puresmoker arrive tomorrow lol :) I finally bit the bullet and did it! Penstyle here I come!

This is one of the few that can cope with not needing a battery in line as it does indeed put out enough power for great vapor and throat hit!! :D

My Power monkey and PowerKhan and possibly the Duracell had very little output and would probably have needed the inline battery to be satisfying as they could only do 500mah or 700mah!

The Kensington says on the back it can do 1.5 amps which is 3 times more!!

The Kensington is on all the time, it doesn't go to sleep or cut off which is very handy!!
