yeti(510) atomizer problem

hi folks

11 days in the vaping thing and I started off withe dse901 and the yeti. The yeti seems like a stronger performer in terms of vapor, I had a battery issue withe automatic batteries that came with it but got them working again. While trouble shooting the battery problem I put a new atomizer on to rule out the oringnel atomizer being a issue.

well the new atomizer really rocked compared to the 10 day old pretty heavy used one so I retired the old and stuck with the new one. well after about 24 hours the new just quit, not heating up --nothing.

I realize from what I have read that atomizers are hit and miss sometimes you'll get one that will last a long time and other times one that just bad etc.

I have to believe the new atomizer is not clogged or dirty after a day's use so wondering if there are any tips or tricks to get it working again. it just stopped working no gradual decline in performance etc.

thanks!

69cutlass--when an atomizer goes cold like you report--the contact on the coil more then likely snaped from one of its two connection points. But sometimes the atomizer is flooded with e-liquid. If you have already tried blowing it out though the battery connection on the atomizer and let it drained cartridge side down, and that did not work, the try boiliing it in water to see if in fact it is flooded and still viable, Boil cartridge side down, for about 5 minutes, let dry, and then re-prime with e-liquid and fire it up with short hits repeatedly. If it is going to fire, it may take up to ten minutes of trying, and if it does not, it was not flooded and was indeed a contact issue----Sun

thanks Sun. I've blown it out and its draining now --did this prior to posting. I'll try the boiling deal tomorrow I put the old one back on and have another back up (came with 2 and bought a xtra).
I have a feeling from my limited exsperince that this atomizer is stone cold dead. Its a shame cause it was really rocking --the older one works but certainly not as well as the fresh new one was --oh well have another atomizer to use and the dse901 has been a trouble free performer altho not as much vapor and throat hit as the yeti.

I've had 3 510 atoms die like that. 1 less than an hours use, one several hours, 1 about 3 days. My 1st thought was flooded. No blowing, draining or rinsing had any effect on the 1st 2, but since they were under warranty I didn't want to mess with anything else and sent them back.

The 3 day one has been blown out and set to drain for over 7 days per my instructions. I retrieved it this weekend, but other than a quick check to see if it worked yet, it didn't, I haven't done anything to it. It's not under warranty, so I may play with it some more, but I'm not holding out much hope.

Thinking the coil snapped or something, but I'll try the soaking, boiling, etc stuff before I rip it apart to see for sure.
