Almost 4 months ago I got rid of all traces of analogs and ashtrays. I don't remember doing this, but apparently I hid a small stash up on a high self in my pantry. Went to put a new bad of cat food up on that high shelf until needed and I said, "what is that up there?" As I was reaching for it my eye became more focused, and when my hand touched the ashtray holding a partial pack, it was like I got electrocuted - not literally. But I dropped both in the trash can so fast, you'd a thought that I got a shock ! I am taking it that vaping has been so satisfying for me, it was easy to forget that I had analogs in the house all this time. Oh, it's been a lot of trial and error finding exact devices, bats, tanks, juices, etc... just to name a few issues. But over all, I'd have to say, I'm a very happy camper.

4 months next week !!!

AH you have had your "Now I know I have really quit" moment! Feels wonderful doesn't it?

Mine came when I moved a box and heard a clank. Looked down and there was my old zippo that had been missing for 2 years (long before I quit smoking) and the only thought that went through my head was "Hot Da--!!! That i going to make annealing wire for RDAs SO much easier!"

When I switched, I kept that last pack in the drawer. Sort of test to see if could truly resist.

After 4-5 months, I figured they had served their purpose, and lost their bloom, so I they went in the trash.

I did the same thing when I quit for a month or two four years back using the patch. I kept a full unopened pack of Camels in the center console of my Jeep, to see if I could resist the temptation. I ended up doing well and giving them away to someone. Then I started only smoking when I drank, which I did good at for a while. Then it eventually progressed into full blown smoking again. I wish I would've known about vaping back then, because I truly believe I never would've started smoking again. It's been 9 weeks for me now and I really don't see myself ever going back. I LOVE vaping and luckily my family (especially my mom) gives me plenty of support and are really proud of me. Both of my parents used to smoke so they know it's NOT an easy thing to quit.

I keep an almost full pack in my vape cabinet and an unopened pack in my car. Bought them the same day I bought my first PV.

When I got my first setup I had to order it as the only thing around here was NJOY and Blu. When the setup arrived I was down to my last 6 cigs. I finished them and never looked back.

Honestly my first setup almost forced me to go back to smoking at one point. The EGO-C tank system was a nightmare for me. Fortunately the batterys were good and the hubby said go ahead and order some clearos so you don't have to live with that crap. I think a 4 day sinus headache from a bad coil that required a dr visit to cope with convinced him. LOL

I also started out with an ego-c setup. At first I liked it but got frustrated with the atomizers after a while. One day when I was getting really frustrated I decided to go check out the new (and only) vapor lounge that had just opened and I walked out with an evod and now the ego-c setup stays as my backup. I couldn't believe the vapor production and what I had been missing out on. Since then I've gotten an ismoka bcc mega and an MVP2 with the iclear30 and am asking for a 30s and vision victory 5ml BCC for Christmas. Such an upgrade from the ego-c!

I still use the ego-C batterys and will until they give up the ghost. I use a smaller setup for driving. ;) Those batterys are workhorses with an EVOD on them when you need something smaller than a big mod.

Most of the time I am a REOnaut these days.

I too keep a sealed pack of analogs in my travel bag and i also bought it the day i bough my first ecig. Why..? no idea, i've never gotten a craving for them nor is it a test of self control. At first i thought they would be nice to have when i see a giant meteorite heading for earth but now i'd rather be vaping to the bitter end... i'll let you guys know if i figure it out.

Kinda off topic but i gotta gloat about how awesome my travel bag is, aside from the pack of cigs its also got
medical stuff from band aids to antibiotics for most common injuries and ailments
some basic survival gear including fire starters, water filters, couple hundred meters of some kind of super strong thin plastic wire, enough plastic/tin sheeting for a small tent, hooks and lures
all kinds of tools from a knife to pliers
some utilities like a foldable solar panel, a universal PSU, a smartphone with a bunch of books on it from survival guides to fiction, a dumbphone, a FM broadcast kit
and of course a vaping kit with 2 big ego batteries, a mini-griffin clone, some mesh and wire and 300ml of 56mg unflavored 50/50 juice
and by travel bag i mean my laptop bag and all of that stuff fits in the big front pocket :D
I'm not a survival nut nor do i know anything about camping but i was always carrying the bag with me when i left home so i just started gathering useful looking stuff in there a few years ago and its become a sort of a project... if zombies come at least i would have many options to fail :D
