OKay so #4 (again, in no particular order):

VVPV - a "top feeder" from the same guys who make the Buzz and Infinity; It has a bottle of juice inside that is sort of like the soap dispensers - you push a button and it squirts juice through a tube that is connected with the base of the drip tip. It basically drips for you. I know next to nothing about it. Anyone?

Believe it or not, I was supposed to test a prototype of that one but, one of the other testers ripped off one of the two prototypes and the other one didn't hold up long enough to make it to me. These were prototypes and not intended to hold up. I still want one though.

So why has no one mentioned the Provari, is it because no one wants a war or do you guys not consider it one of the top 5 out there?

I don't mind discussion of pro vari on this thread at all. In fact, that is the way I was leaning but wanted to gert a large variety of opinions. I have another whole post up asking about the pro vari specifically. If I did order one, I see from reading on here it's about a two week delay to get one? Is that right? The darwin to me just plain looks too weird.

I wouldn't mind having a reo either but it does seem like an additional bit of learning combined with the hassle of actually trying to buy a reo i'm not sure I want to go that route.

As for the lavatube and the cheaper ones, while I'm certainly prepared to spend the money on the pro vari, I can't help but wonder if I really NEED one if I can get the same performance with something thats abou 40% the price?

The least expencive way to find out what VV vaping is all about is the little MadVapes VV box mod ($35).
But they have a problem; you will find that you like those silly little 14500 bats so well that you will go searching for all sorts of other mods that use them.

I have one those Madvapes Boxes. It does what it's supposed to but, it tends to get hot because of the linear regulator. That heat is wasted battery life. For $20 more, you might consider the Smoketek Varicool it uses a switching regulator so it doesn't heat up and waste power.

OH
If ya want to dip your toes into da VV waters, just get one of THESE. Most of ya'll have at least twice that much in worthless joose you've purchased!

Now that's a sight I haven't seen before: on the same page!

"Introducing: The VariStack: from ElectronicStix"

and

"SOLD AS IS LIQUIDATION"

Awesomeness...

That said, the impulse buyer in me almost clicked Check Out. I saw them on a vaping show recently - for that price, even if they break down in a a few months it's probably worth it as a "dip your toes" kind of thing.
