Personally, I feel manipulated by Cashmere.
He acted like one of us.
Then gave up ecigs altogether for a sudden onset of the most unusual set of physical side effects that couldn't possibly have occurred overnight which was the impression he gave.
Then suddenly one day he was a user again.
I feel he extracted info from us while pretending to be one of us but had the intention all the time of becoming a supplier.

And Smokey, I don't like the idea of a supplier being a moderator.
Can moderators read our PMs?
Sorry folks if this comes off as argumentative, mean-spirited and/or paranoid but that's how I feel.

PS
Cashmere, your prices are great and despite my feelings I may indeed end up ordering from you a whole bunch of Xmas gifts for my close friends and relatives come December, assuming you will be able to maintain a professional business rapport with me after this post

Nerdy ... I must admit, your posts do amuse me sometimes. No offense taken :) Lets see if I may be able to weather the storm here just a bit.

My first ecig was from Smartfixx. I asked for 5 zero nic cartridges instead of the sample pack so I didn't get any nicotine. When I started smoking them, I didn't see any real signs or symptoms of illness because i didn't smoke it frequently. (Remember, I had been a complete non-smoker at this time for about 7-8 months I believe) I was on my 3rd of 4th cart when I realised I would need refills. At this time, BD (BananaDoc) had his Bickfords thread so I decided to give it a try. Order I think 9 flavors and a quart of PG.

Got them in the mail and gave Bickfords a shot. Within hours, I was having issues. I was dripping Bickfords exclusively into empty carts. That night I had the worst bout of the runs and night sweats I have ever had in my life. The next day, I woke up with a swolen throat, and when I tried to swallow, it was like swallowing needles. Didn't immediately blame it on the PG, and thought I was just coming down with something. Gave up smoking the ecig for about 2-3 days until i started feeling better. Then tried dripping again with Bickfords. I could feel the symptoms coming on again, so I immediately stopped. I thought I was completely Allergic to PG, so at the time I decided to just liquidate what I had. I sold all my equipment (to a person who will remain nameless unless they feel like posting) and flavors and then just sat and thought. Reading more stories of people allergic to PG, and then reading how TB started using VG (Veggie Glycerin) and was getting great results !!! So, I ordered a RN4072 penstyle off ebay. Got my VG locally from the Vitamin Shoppe, and started up again. It was then trying zero nic carts that I realized that i must just be allergic to PG in very concentrated amounts like Bickfords. Started using VG and a bottle of eliquid (i got from a member here) with zero nicotine, and I had Zero Issues, as long as the PG levels stayed down.

Reading the numerous threads about how unhappy people were with ECig prices, I decided to do something about it. If you go back in my history, you will see that I have never bad mouthed any manufacturer, but over the past couple weeks/month I have asked questions trying to get a good feeling from the public on what they want. Flavors, how many carts they smoke, etc...

This website took about a month of planning. The rest is history :)

As a moderator, I do find it unfair for myself to judge other Suppliers, that is why I won't be. However, keeping a forum civil, safe, and fun is completely different. NO I can NOT read your PM's ... LOL ... Those are completely your own and completely 100% private :)

I would love to supply you for any Christmas gifts you decide to pass on!

If you have any other concerns, feel free to post!

Thanks Nerdy,
-CaSH

EDIT ... p.s. -- I think I just layed out my entire ECig biography! :) ... LOL

No, I don't even think I can read others' PMs - and I wouldn't if I could.

What's wrong with Cash being a supplier and a mod? I mean he still has to follow the suppliers rules like anyone else. If he were to mod something that looked to be wrong, the other mods and I would see it and sort it out.

He doesn't get any extra leverage.

I know you do, but you haven't explained where the conflict of interest actually is.

Clearly if I think Cashmere is overstepping the mark, I rescind his moderator privileges, otherwise where is the conflict? Bear in mind too that he no longer moderates the suppliers forum. Bear in mind too that all other mods can see exactly what he has deleted.

Moderators know exactly what we can and can't do in order that the forum runs smoothly. That given, where is the conflict?

Smokey,
I've benefited from being a member of this forum and have appreciated the work you have put into it.

I've stated my opinion and I'd like to leave it at that. I don't want to enter a debate or extended dialogue with the Administrator of this forum on the issue. I failed Debating 101 and was advised that I could never influence anyone with my opinions.

Why don't you just take a poll of what the other members think on the issue and not let just my singular opinion effect your concern.

And the forum has benefitted from you too Cindy.

All I need is a reason not an opinion poll. I can't think of one and I've racked my brains ever since Cash told me he was going to be a supplier (no offense cash ;-))

If anyone can come up with one, I am more than happy to consider it.

Plus I don't think it is very fair to say it is an "essential conflict of interest to the authenticity of the forum" and then not say why.

Anyway, if you want to leave it at that, that's cool with me.

Hey Slidez,

Your's has shipped out already via priority. Will probably have tomorrow :)

Haha sweet, if I do get it tomorrow I will be super happy!

It says on your site that your atomizers are compatible with NJoy, since I do have an NJoy penstyle, does that mean I could use you as my supplier for replacement parts? :D

If the USPS does their job you should! I can't imagine taking longer than 1 day to get to the other side of LA. LA is big, but not that big! I'm here in Chatsworth.

Yup, all my penstyle parts will work with Njoy. Carts, Atomizers, and Batteries :)

Hey CaSHMeRe,

Your site says that the classic parts fit Generic Penstyles.
From what I'm told...the Crown7 is just a rebadged E-Cig.com generic type.
Will the batteries fit those?
If they do than they will fit the Kissbox also!
Got any idea?......or does anyone know?
Just seems prudent to collect as many brands with as many interchangeable parts as possible.
Never know when this ability will come in handy in a pinch!

Oh yeah......is this the RN4072?

hey bUrNSwHeNIp,

Yes, my Penstyle is the RN4072. They do fit the Regular Janty Classic unsure to the nature of the KISSbox though. I have had 1 user report it fits, but for some reason have a couple puffs its stops? Not sure if Janty has a proprietary something or another on their atomizer, etc...

And at this point, my Battery/Atomizer/Carts have not been tested on a Crown7 that I know of. So, I don't want to promise anything or false advertise, so until its tested, I just don't know!

Hope this helps! :)

Thanks guys,
Have a friend at work with the Crown7 and just for ****s and giggles tried switching her Crown battery to my Kissbox Atomizer and it worked......but just like you, I only tried it for a couple of puffs, so I don't know if it would stop working or not.

Who knows, maybe one of us will come up with the "perfect combo", using different parts from different manufacturers.

A bit far-fetched but ya never know!
