got this person at work says they heard on the "news" that the government doesnt regulate what is in my "electronic cigarette". this same person was sitting there smoking a nasty cheap res cigarette, a "niagara". i didnt really know how to respond. i told her that her nasty cigarette has hydrogen cyanide, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, tar, benzene, and 4,000 other known toxic chemicals and that my juice contains roughy 10 indigents that are non-toxic. she said how did i know that my ecig did not contain these same chemicals, i told her that the vendors that sell juice would never intentionally poision their customers. she said some more ignorant bs about how she new smoking has bad for her and that she enjoyed it, i said good i enjoy vaping and that is probably isnt going to kill me but the cigarettes very well may kill her. i wasnt going to continue to argue with this uneducated ...... its my fault i have to put up with these stupid people i didnt finish college and i work in a factory.
i wanted to add that i told her the government doesn't care if you smoke and they want you to only have 2 options
1. continue to smoke, spending mad money on cigarette taxes
2. use a government approved smoking cessation device
she said that the goverment doesnt want you to smoked, i told her that is foolish to believe that. tobacco companies contribute huge dollars to election campaigns and the government makes a huge amount of money on taxes. the same is true with any products that pharma releases for smoking cessation.
