And here I thought it was because I can no longer find a lighter or matches anywhere at home.

True! I keep a one of those butane charcoal lighters in a kitchen drawer for birthday candles and one in the the basement to light charcoal for the grill. I can't find a Bic that still works and the grill lighter is easily rechargeable with Butane.

I still haven't pif'd my box of cricket lighters, did finally take the one out of my purse a couple years ago (one of the hardest things I've ever let go of).
I bought a Bic to melt the shoe polish I refresh my black Boxer mods with.
I used to have a few 5 packs in a drawer <- always been a backups for backups fan

Anyone remember the Mr. Puffer? What a disaster that thing was. I guess it was the first bottle fed one.

How about the guy (forgot what country he was in) who described the first computerized chip PV that he planned to produce. Hundreds of us got on the wait list and months later it never came to fruition. Although about that time the Provari was born and did everything the guy described in the one he planned to make, lol.

Your friends nickname you "Marlboro MacGyver" because you can fashion a crude semi-regulated mod out of a fruitcake tin, 14 gauge pulled directly from your living room wall, a piece of finely-shaved roast beef luncheon meat, and the display from a broken alarm clock. Plus points if you power it by removing the element from your electric stove and hooking your mod directly to the roof of the oven with soldered-together crochet needles. Your friends will be especially impressed that you're man enough to vape Easy Off Oven Cleaner on your makeshift setup, which you affectionately call "Fat Man". You take a big hit, exhale the fumes from a charred asbestos wick into the kitchen, and, smoke detectors and fire engines begin to hail you with sirens that seem to echo the words Vape Champ all over town. Bob Dylan once asked, "How many roads must a man walk down before they call him a man?" Answer: that many.

    Somewhere out there
I remember when the best juice was Dekang and RY4. When the first cig alikes were all attys ( no cartos then) on batts that lasted 5 puffs then batt was dead. Cartos were the newest greatest invention then making your own carto tank from syringes was the best invention. So fun to think of all this!
