Got my order from Tasty Vapor today. Mixed fresh 2 days ago.

I was told to steep for a week or so. Cool. Was in a bind so i tried the tobacco flavor he has as soon as i got it.....YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much better can i expect this juice to improve over the next week? Or do these generally mot make drastic changes during this process and its basically the same as newly mixed?

If at first you dont succeed try try try again. You may need to shop around for a long time to find a flavor that isn't YUCK!!!!!!!. I would suggest trying several juices out from several vendors. Not that TV doesn't have good juice. Try out PureSmokers tonic line and EliquidPlanets USA Essence juice. Both of those vendors have some pretty good tobacco. But In my opinion the best tobacco flavor is C&D from AlienVission. If your a new vaporer you may learn that there is no good tobacco flavor for you and you may want to try out some good mentholated juices or ones with cinnamon, VaporCastStore has that one covered. You may find you love Fruit flavors which you will find alot of good ones at Juicy Vapor.com. Just dont give up. I have found through experiecne over a year that most of the vendors that are raved about here on the ECF provide a juice that is weak in flavor and requires lots and lots of steeping and most often just dont live up to the hype. Good luck.

tasty vapor tobacco is an extracted juice from real tobacco. Some people like it and a lot of people hate it! It's plain tobacco, no cigarette/pipe/cigar/chew flavor. It's going to taste like hay a little bit mixed with some familiar tobacco and other natural flavors. In other words, after a couple weeks of steeping, if you don't like it, you probably never will.

Everyone's right. Some juices taste good right out of the mailbox and others are far better after a week or two in a darkened area (boxes are good). Shake them periodically to help them mix and mellow. I've started shaking the bottle before refilling carts. Some amount of settling will occur, some more than others.

Experimentation is a good thing. If you can order ahead, you aren't under pressure to vape it up right away. I'd venture to say that most juices benefit from aging. It it's good now, it may be great a week later. Some of that may be due to the mix being top heavy or bottom heavy in flavor. Shaking here and there is always a good thing.

Tobacco flavor

like what luceblueboy said...

It's a fresh leaf tobacco... like Vaperite's organic... bwb makes a couple... want2vape makes a few...

Steeping won't really improve it that much.... either you will like it or not...

I am not a fan of fresh leaf steeped from anyone... I like the harsher, analogue like tasting tobacco...

In any case, you would probably like other TV flavors more...

Check out Vapestein's articles about tobacco flavors.

I like several and not one is a fresh leaf... and not really a fan of the flavourart ones either.

Tampa from Vapor Station is quite a strong, analogue like vape. Too strong for me, but good.
The Halo tobaccos, nHaler, BWB, Essence line, vapors etc... experiment!

In fairness to Tasty Vapor...
They do make some of the best tasting sweeter juices... their caramel popcorn is really good.

I had some regular tobacco flavor from ecig.ca or something like that any way doesn't matter it was real bland tasting ok but not strong enuf for me left the lid off it accidentally couple weeks ago and it got darker tried it the other day dam near fell over it was so strong th and flavor it has more tobacco flavor than chewing tobacco. Don't know Maybe pull the lid off let it sit over night then close up and leave for week or so maybe it will come more or less to your liking

I'm a DIYer partly and found a way to fast steep my homemade juices overnight. I take the tops and dripper part completely off the bottles and put them in the medicine cabinet over night. I've had juices go from pale gold in color ( like a champagne color) to neon orange and medium brown over night! Letting the air get to them makes them ripen quickly, I think:)

The question is: Does color = flavor ? I don't know the answer and haven't found anyone who does. 100 people will have 101 opinions about steeping. I wish there was difinitive data on the topic.

Regardless, I just make sure all mine are mixed and mixed really well. I beat them up big time with one of these. lol

In some cases color does = flavor and not that the color is the flavor, just an indicator that enough time has passed for the flavors to blend. Nicotine often reacts with flavorings to cause a color change. but it doesn't happen with every flavor. Long story longer- it's not always the case. If you like your juice the minute you make it, steeping isn't needed. If you wait a week, you will probably notice a better flavor blend.
