Only flaw I see in this tank? I don't have a problem wicking it. My wicks don't leak, etc. But i do find that the twisting of the juice control, or at times even the air control on the bottom, because it's not 100% easy, that with the slight struggle with it sometimes, it's unknowingly easy to loosen the chimney bottom to the coil deck inside as I fight with the each of the above. If that happens, then it can get a bit flooded, which on its own can pass but if it also tips on its side even once and it's a bit loose inside, than it floods the bottom of the tank, the base and no matter what you do, you then must take it apart and clean it up and re-tighten everything back up.
I don't have any problem bottom filling it but once i do, i close it up, suck on the tip, drawing air in before firing down on it, with the air lever closed at the bottom. Then I will vape and it will be fine. But it's the twisting of the juice flow that I believe leads to the chimney loosening up from the bottom of the deck and once that happens, it floods, naturally.
Usually with most of my tanks, I will re-wick weekly but on this one not only do I re-wick, I feel is it's safest to take it all down, give it a good clean and make sure everything is tight inside again. Do that and it's fine. But in the long run I think it requires more tearing down and cleaning than any other tank i own.
If i am prepared to take it apart every 2nd filling, it works perfectly but if i don't, the more i use the tank, the easier it seems to unknowingly untighten that chimney bottom from the base with turns on that juice channel back and forth. Having to take it apart every second filling is becoming a bit too much work, so in that sense, I consider it a huge flaw in the end.
So for those that might be having leaking issues, and don't think it is your wicking, you might want to consider what i am finding about it as time goes by. I think it loses its quality a bit too soon, compared to other tanks.

Man I am not sure whether to buy this right now or wait for V3 or maybe wait and see if Cthulhu V2 improves. I have never owned a dual coil RTA so am looking for one but don't want the next best thing to be released in a month or whatever. I am not a tank collector if I buy something I want it to last a long time and not have to worry about needing/wanting another one till it breaks. SDB's comment makes me not want to buy it, considering the quality is being lost. I'm torn :/
I've never dealt with GearBest but they do have a sale on them right now. I bought the Goblin Mini which I already own for only $19.99 yesterday. What are you after, clouds, taste, etc? Please don't take my comment incorrectly. Its a great tank for me. I work at home but I personally would not want it to be my main tank if I were going out, carrying it around, etc. I feel as good as it is, it's not a tank like the Kanger SubMini which you can basically knock around and it will still keep on vaping. The Goliath needs some care. Personally, I don't have any problem with leaking, as far as my wicking goes but some do, as you have read here. But I also wouldn't suggest that the Goblin Mini or the Goliath V2 be a tank I could carry in my purse, etc. Certain tanks I can. I am a tank collector so I do have several. The Lemo 2, Kanger Subtank Mini, for example, I can throw into my bag and know they will be ok. If that is what you are looking for, an atty that you can take out with you, place it in your bag or knapsack, then no, it's not the one, IMHO. If it is meant to be used at home, or carefully taken to work, etc, than sure, its a great tasting tank but, as stated, I find I have to be very careful with it by having to tear it down, let's say once a week. Not to recoil but I vape desert juice so they gunk up quickly. When I tear it down, I also just burn off the gunk on the coils and re-wick. As long as one knows that it needs to have just a little bit more care taken with it, to ensure that the parts inside aren't screwing undone with all the twists one does on the juice control than it is a great tank. There are quite a few dual coil tanks out there that are great. Guessing you want some clouds, being that you are looking for a dual tank, right? And assuming you are building your own coils, not using pre-made coils, right, or wrong?
Gear Best has a sale on right now on the V2 Goliath as well. BUT if its only a $5 difference, or so, I would rather pay the extra and deal with Fasttech who I do trust and have bought a ton of gear, authentics from, etc

Another tank that I LOVE is the Goliath V1, a dual coil tank and the clone at FT is 99.9% as good as the original for only $13.......its one of the best clones I have ever seen and as a rule, I don't like clones for i would rather spent triple the money and have a tank I know will work the way I expect it. I just dont have the time to personally modify them to make them work but I have both the original and 2 clones of the V1 version and its an AWESOME dual coil tank. Unfortunately as a Canadian by the time I convert to US funds, and pay shipping into Canada, it works out to about the same price as Fasttech, but i trust them implicitly after 60-70 orders so there really isn't a deal in that for me, but for any americans that can buy it for $19.99 i wouldn't hesitate

My Goliath V2 has been fine thus far, I fully expect it to last a while. I could be wrong, but maybe yours is just a bit of a lemon?
The Cthulhu v2 is overpriced at $40 IMO, I passed on it because I don't think it really offers anything to me vs the Goliath v2 I already have, and their quality hasn't been the best.
add the ud bellus to your tanks to consider, last time i checked it could be preordered for 18.99 pounds
Being Canadian, there isn't a savings for me when ordering from the US, after all so i do have an order in one one from China for 19.99 as GearBest had a big sale on right now and they had it there for 19.99 already. i do already own one and love it too.
No, its not a lemon. I have going at all times, Goliath V2 , Goliath V1 x 3, Lemo 2 x 3, Kanger Subtank x 2, Kanger Subtank with bell caps, x 2, Nautilus Mini 5ml, Uwell Crown x 2, Delta ll x 2, Goblin Mini, and a few RDAs. I have every one of them rebuilt and wicked perfectly but I know which tanks can take a bit of abuse and i don't feel that the Goliath V2 can, nor the Goblin. As I tried to explain to the fellow that said he was scared after reading my post, I tried to clarify that it just needs a bit more care. If you read through the thread, or any thread on this tank TONS of people complain of leaking problems. I personally consider it very easy to wick but have noticed that the juice dial as well as the air dial are not the easiest to turn. Not just myself but everyone complains about this. I find if i don't tear down the atty to fully clean every week, that the chimney inside can loosen up from the deck, which then leads to leaking, obviously, as juice then flows right into the coils. I believe its more likely that some who are complaining about it leaking, aren't looking at this chimney but believe it's their wicking. I believe its a flaw in the design due to the toughness of the air/juice dials to open. Opening and closing them often, I believe after a while loosens the tightness of the chimney on the base. If someone is cleaning it and/or wicking it often enough, it is fine. But if i just keep refilling and refilling without tearing it down, after a period of time it loosens up inside and the leaking begins. Hence, I said that I did not feel that the Goliath, or the Goblin for that matter, are attys I can throw in a bag when I go out. Sometiimes in the bag they can fall over, etc. They can leak if so. I can throw in my Lemo 2;s, Deltas, Sub tanks without any problem if I do but these two are a bit more "fragile" for lack of a better word.

Interesting. A quick look at some posts on it but owners suggest it is leak proof and they say the taste is even better than the Goliath V2.

Yeah, I passed on the Cthulhu V2 as well. Just made no sense to use a Velocity style deck on upper airflow. Talk about choking to death on a triple or quad build
Its basically UD's take on the Steam Crave Aromamizer RDTA. Looks cool though, I have one pre-ordered (its not out yet).
I don't have a problem with the velocity style build deck per say, but I would probably just use duals. I wasn't impressed with my v1 from a quality standpoint, so I thought I would wait and see on the v2, and thus far I am glad I held off.Yeah, I passed on the Cthulhu V2 as well. I did too for that price! I'm hoping it will perform all lot like my aromamizer rdta but have a more open draw to allow more air to hit the coils directly. Looking at the design this shouldn't be a problem with 16 holes each side lol Should be interesting indeed

Well its 16 holes on the outside, but there are really two slots behind there that hit the coils directly. It should be interesting indeed though. I'm looking forward to it, UD has been killin it this year.

Ideally I am a single coil user preferably although a few dual coils such as the Goliath/Goblin I do care for but great single coil attys, other than tight draws I rarely find that I love, lately.
So having to buy cloudz type attys and adjust them more to my liking so Will check that one out...
Suprised you haven't got the fasttech app there can't be to many Sheila' s spelt Shelagh around if you are the same one I've read a lot of you posts on fasttech. The app keeps you updated with all new releases. I look forward to it daily the ud bellus is available for pre order. And looks sweet.

No..lol..u mean my "long ... posts?"..... lol...no fasttech app...Like a lot of people, Fasttech was great for me to learn with.......IMO, it couldn't be beat, but now my time needs to be spent learning how to DIY, combined with being extremely tired of all the rudeness on that forum....Which is why i hadn't even noticed that new tank until it was mentioned here but yes, bought that one last night and it looks very interesting. Sure, there is all the usual hype around any release but you have read the same posts/info I have and I like what I am hearing. Wait? It wasnt pre-oder when I bought it last night? It was just a typical 5 day wait, I think? /goes to double check but am pretty sure as i wont fall for those pre-orders on FT any more......
