Decided to go ahead and rewick today while I had a minute, didn't wanna run into the leak I had at one point. And I remembered pic request of the deck. Mine isn't the most beautiful but dang it works. And wow I had to keep reducing the image quality to upload, hope it's viewable.

And as far as opening I found that your shirt or anything paper towels etc between your fingers and lid will give enough friction to open it.
Yeah I tried all the normal stuff but mine got to where I was about to crush it with vice grips. I have heard other people have had there's extremely stuck for whatever reason.

I sold off two subtanks and bought two of these instead. Vape is amazing but am running into some problems with leakage while filling- - gonna rewick as soon as I empty it and keep the ends fuller, right now I have it wicked like an orchid.

Did you check out that video I posted on page 1? I followed his wicking technique and it has been great. Other than my old wick leaking till I replaced it. And it does require a fairly tight wicking, several said flooded or leaked when using loose wick.

Also what's the percentage on your juice? I've never had any luck with thin juices in tanks.

Typically 90-94% VG but what I have in it now is a bit thinner (got the Zephyrus' from vapordna and got a free bottle of e-liquid so I wanted to try it , I usually DIY... the e-liquid is 60% vg but I did dilute it down in about half with my 90% unflavored, so I probably have around 75/25 at the moment). I assume my probably is that I have the tails of my wick too thin and perhaps too short, and/or the RBA section isn't threaded into the base tightly.

Only downside of this tank is inability to access deck with juice in the tank, but it's a tradeoff I'm more than happy to make if I can get a leak-proof top fill out of it.

Yeah wicking needs to be done just right. The wicking I did last nite and posted did great first tank. Minor leakage filling the second time and I think I lost damn near a ml on the third. I vaped that tank and took it apart. Upon close inspection one of the channels had no wick tail in it at all. So seems it was running right up the channel and into the air holes. Moral of the story, putting just the tip in can prevent unintended impregnation of juice to your mod. Lol

Oh and if anyone has the issue with the top fill section being stuck to the chimney when you first open it. A 5 min warm soap bath will make it screw apart no problem. Got some cuts on my fingers trying to get it off before I tried that.

Just got mine in this mornings post and the top cap was frozen solid, and after a 10 min hot soapy sonic bath it still required a piece of buckskin and pliers to break it loose and i could have filled it with the blood from a 2" gash on my index finger. Haven't built the RDA yet but so far have no cons other than the bloody finger. The way this thing guzzles juice they should have named it Count Zephula.
