If you put in a 14650 battery it will last longer than the 14500. I own a 18650 model and it will last all day if you use a 3000 mah battery but will also last a long time with the 2200 mah battery. Hope this helps.

Do you know how well these paticuler batteries work?

They're Ultra Fire TRC 18650 3800 mAh
3.7v li-ion Low discharge rate, No memory effect
Short-circuit and over current Protection.
Shelf-life around 10 years. Environmental friendly.

It seems like to high of mah for this paticuler battery. Anyone know?

That battery should work great, what I have is Ultra Fire BRC 18650 3000 mAh battery, and it works great. I don't know the differance between TRC and BRC. Contact the vendor and ask what the difference is. Maybe someone that knows more about batteries will come in and tell us both, what the difference is. I have seen information here on the ECF about batteries but I don't know where.

Battery info is in the ECF Library.

The AW IMR & the MNKE IMR are the two best batts to run by far, its not about mAh its about quality Batts that charge to 4.2v and hold a charge above 4v the longest and these two do just that ! Ultra and trustfire are junk compared to these 2 Batts.

Its all about where you need it for. If you are using bats in a VV unit at lets say 4.5 volt, with a 2 Ohm atty, you will get very similar results from trustfire flames 14500, and these other brands. At least thats my personal experience. Others with an other configuration may get diferent results.

So I was taking a nice leisurely bath last night and had my NoEgo standing upright on the edge of the tub. My sweet darling little 15wk old puppy came barreling into the bathroom and knocked it right into the water. After much cursing and scolding I took it apart and gave the pieces a good shake and set them on the sink while I finished my bath.

After I got out I gave the PV a quick once over with the towel and put it back together mumbling under my breath the entire time.

I pushed the button and I'll be damned if it didn't fire right up! Everything worked!
I do love my NoEgo!

I have 2 batteries 18650 that came with the E-Power and bought 2 ultrafire 18650 3000 mAh batteries, and they all hold the charge, at around 4.2 volts after setting for several days. So I don't understand why you call them Junk? Does the AW IMR and MNKE IMR last longer in a PV or take more charges? You must have a reason that you like the 2 types you were talking about.

Check the C Rating on your cheap Ultra Fire Batteries compared to an AW or MNKE IMR and also visit the Battery university here = Battery Information Table of Contents, Basic to Advanced and you will see and learn why the IMR is obviously the best choice, not trying to be smart but high quality IMR Batts are an obvious choice compared to cheap ultra fires.

Ha, I was going to get e-power 14500, til I saw this.
This model looks much nicer. I am going to order one this week.
If you are talking about the 18650, it does last a long time between charges, the kit comes with some where in the neighborhood of 2200 mAh battery's, and that is alot compared to most. I just ordered 3000 mAh battery's from another vendor to have max mAh battery's, also the charger that comes in the kit will charge the 3000 mAh battery also, but it does naturally take longer to charge. If you already have battery's the NoEgo is the best buy by far, or as a replacement. I ordered mine before I seen the NoEgo site. Just for information, I got mine at Breezesmokes and I think they call it the 2200 model, and Aceofvapes has the 14650 in S.S. and their kit comes with 5 LR cartomizers and 10ml E-liquid. But the kits do cost more.

Good information, I will use up the ones I have that came in my kit and then, when I need a new one I will try the AW,MNKE,IMR.

I just received my 14500/14650, works great with the 14650 battery but the 14500 battery is about 1/2" too short am I overlooking something?

I had the same issue and it was an easy fix. I just stretched the bottom coil out a bit. I shook it to the opening and just manually stretched it out a bit. Not a problem since.

I ordered my 18650 model Saturday afternoon, and it arrived Monday (today!). It's a beauty!

I'm still waiting for batteries, and juice though, and in the meantime suffering along with my SafeCigs. With any luck, I'll be putting the No Ego through its paces by Wednesday.

Great customer service! I still can't believe it got here so quickly.

Thanks Romaniac!
