Hi romaniac - Yeah I have the adapter kit - question is do both Type A (cone-shaped, smaller) and Type B (cylinder, bigger, newer design) work with the adapter kit? Thanks, CC
Btw, romaniac and noEgo owners - a new tip (well new for me, anyway). Up until tonight, I had the habit of parking my noEgo on its base. Fine usually. Unfortunately a few days ago my noEgo rolled off the desk and onto the hardwood floor, breaking my beloved acrylic cannon driptip in half. CherryVape told me delrin won't break, so a couple of those are coming now (another small vendor with great service, in addition to you, romaniac!) I was rooting around in my velvet bag of old pipe/cigar tobacco equipment and found a ceramic pen holder. It works perfectly for parking my noEgo sideways. No more rolling danger! CC
Sadness - Got my Ego Type B LR Atomizer and tanks today. Filled one up with vaperite kona cream (which I absolutely love on a LR 306 dripped)- fits great with the Ego-T adapter kit from romaniac.... tastes like plasticky noxious garbage. This after blowing out the atomizer, rinsing and blowing, priming with juice, cutting off the plastic "chads". I'm disappointed and wary of getting caught in the "buy more atomizers to try your luck" game. But man I really want these tanks to work!
I have not had good luck with any tank atomizers, Have you thought about switching to cartomizers?

Yeah that's where I started from. Really want a no-filler driplike taste tho. Anyway, this isn't anything to do with the noEgo product itself.
bmwjen - it's probably his ego-T adapter kit which has a 510-510 adapter plus a thread cover/spacer. makes the threaded part of the switch nice and smooth.

Since my Ego-T B tank experiment was a dud, I'm going to check out MAP tanks and send my pipe back to you for fixin/fittin with a MAP tank. Which do you suggest that work well/fit best with the Jazz cartopipe?

Just wait for few more weeks until my stainless map tank caps arrive. One of the caps was designed to fit your pipe mouthpiece .

Not for the 18650. I only have the adapter that will cover the threads for the 14650/ 14500.
You should consider getting them for the 18650 too. I would definitely get it
The cone is not just an cosmetic improvement is important for the performance of the unit. The space between the cone and the cartomizer gets warm and that space will preheat the air before enters the cartomizer/atomizer. that means that worm air will consume less of the coil heat to arrive to vaporizing temp. This means more battery life and increased vapor production.
It will not have any use for a Map Tank but for the Map Tank situation the cone can be cut to size to accommodate the Map Tank
At this point I have no plans for a thread cover for the 18650 NoEgo but i will seriously look in to this to see what I can come up to
