Hi ladies!
My screen name comes from my profession. I'm a Paramedic and RN. Four days a week I'm a program director and professor teaching Paramedics in college. On the weekends I work on the ambulance. Once upon a time, when I was very young and new to the field, I used Traumadog on forums. Now I'm older and Trauma calls aren't so exciting, so it's Meddog.
The avi is a reflection of how I am most days. A pile of books (I'm finishing my dissertation for my PhD), and glasses propped on the snout. It also says a little something about the value of a book you can touch as opposed to all fo the electronic "stuff" that's out there now.
Hello all,

Very nice to meet everyone.Did someone say drinks????
Wow i bet you have had some interesting experiences with bird rescue. My mate has a rescue african grey and he is great. He has a great diet-seed, tropical fruit, nuts, fingers, hair, blood...! my friend lives with her mum and their dogs and Jasper has learned all the dog's names and commands. He has also learnt some savory language and "belches" really loud and I know Helen is not like that. Her mum swears blind it is nothing to do with her, but there isnt anyone else around. There are no secrets with Jasper around, lol! Really interesting animalsHe is one of the biggest handsomest Macaws I have had in my home.
