Hi Dagar! Nice to meet you. When you feel the need to replace some estrogen..come on in!

Thanks Mary Kay and CES, classwife too!

The board do seem dominated with men and their toys. OMGosh I am fairly new with a 808, some juice and cartomizers. I can't wrap my mind around all the voltage and mods. It's like being in a Harley shop and you own a Schwinn beach coaster with three wheels.

I am always in need of estrogen as I live in a house full of men. 1 Princess and 4 guys (hubby and 3 boys). My brother lives a few blocks over (1 guy, 4 gals) so I live in the "guy" house and he lives in the "girl" house.

So with all that said...hello to all. Thanks for the welcome and cookies. :)

Hello ladies. My avatar is of the beautiful bayou in my former hometown in Louisiana, (I'm only 40 minutes from there now) and I guess I'm a Southern Belle at heart. At least my Mom was for sure and though I'd love to live up to her legacy, I fear I'm failing miserably, lol!
I make a mean gumbo, cornbread and crawfish etouffee, but truth be known I dislike cooking! I could make you a Scarlett O'Hara green velvet curtain dress though!

Hi nice to meet you :) My family is from Louisiana, used to go fishing at Lake Bistineau all the time when I visited my grandparents. It looks just like that!!

Greetings Ladies!

My name Kissowa is a modified version of the word Kiswa. The word is found in the book Arrakis - The Desert Planet, the first book in the Dune series by Frank Herbert. It means "any figure or design from Freemen mythology". I've been Kissowa online for the past 14 years.

My avi... Well, that's me, irl. Simple as that.

You asked for a story, so here goes lol :D

My name is Christi Anne (yeah, I'm from Texas and have always signed everything with the Anne, though I only get called Christi Anne online or by my family, most people just call me Christi, so I've started using that online instead).

My screenname was originally Prego191 when I was pregnant with my first child, of course Prego was taken on the pregnancy forum that I signed up on, so I did Prego19 because I was 19 at the time, but since that was taken it suggested Prego191, so I went with that. Later when I was playing Halo with my ex on the Xbox I chose Prettycat191 during one of my rare feeling good about myself moments, CAT were my initials back then, Prettycat is generally already used on websites so I just kept the 191 on the end, and since then I've used Prettycat191 for everything. Unless I want to post things that I wouldn't want certain people to read, then I use a few different aliases.

My current avatar I think I found on another forum awhile ago, and since I was typically staying up because I needed to finish typing something that I felt was important to say (my husband didn't always agree :p), I thought it described me perfectly. Though I'm usually not trying to correct people. Thinking about changing it soon, just trying to decide to what.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Nice to see some folks that were from around here, or at least familiar with my neck of the woods! I live in the burbs of the "city" now.
Prettycat, I LOVE your avatar! That's why I don't post half the things I'd like to say. SOMEONE somewhere is going to call me out on it, lol!

Lol, I have ADHD, so half of the time what I MEAN to say and what I ACTUALLY say are totally different. I've been called out so many times when I was simply agreeing with what that person had said...or so I thought. Apparently I was arguing with them instead...or so THEY thought! That's why I say "Perception is Everything". However you perceive something is how it is to you, regardless of the original intent.

oh ! Drives me crazy when people do that !

Me too! They get all riled up and angry with me, takes me forever to get them to understand I was agreeing with them, if they'll even take the time to listen. If they just refuse to listen, I give up and just don't even talk to them directly anymore unless they speak directly to me; cause who knows but that I'll try to agree with them again and get blown up at again (had it happen many times before, I'm not a mean or rude person, but it just gets to be not worth it anymore). I blew it already, why make it worse? It shows me who the true friends are when they stick around long enough to figure out that what I mean and what I say are not always the same; then we end up staying friends forever. Or for a long time at least :D
