i tried the blu 3 years ago, waste of money, but marketing got me on that.
another regret is starting again with the ego batteries and the likes, i wish i just got the VTR and supporting stuff the right way.
i hope the ego regret i can help pay it forward and get someone else to quit smoking :]

I also started on the cheap chinese "e-health" cig-a-like, bad quality, but cheap, but mostly important, it showed me it was possible to use vape to replace smoke.
I have now only one VV mod, EVIC, but i use regularly Ego VV batteries when im on street or when charging my Evic, so far, as it keeps voltage on required levels, its an everyday gear usable almost everywhere without draw much attention like an evic with a big protank or kayfun.

The ONLY thing that I can say I regret is the fact that I did not start sooner. I don't regret the Buck Naked starter kit or the Volcano Inferno or the various ego's. I don't regret spending way too much money on cheap disposable tanks. I do not regret trying just about every e-juice known to man. All of that kept me off cigarettes- from the first puff on my Buck Naked until now.

And something that I am GRATEFUL for would be: FINDING ECF!!!!! This site has been an awesome resource and support for me from almost the beginning of my journey. I don't think I would have been able to have stuck with vaping without all of the valuable information and help from all of the wonderful member here!!

My biggest regret in vaping was falling for the cig-a-like, using the clearomizers and paying ridiculous prices for replacement heads, and not starting sooner. I honestly wish someone would have told me to start with rebuildable attys as well... I would have saved a lot more money.

While RBA can be cheaper on long run, they can be over complicated for a broader public. Consider that not only geeks/mechanists/engineers/hobists/etc vape, but great majority of vaping happens on basic ego gear with standard CE or joytech attys. A lot of vape only ppl still use cig-a-likes. For a lot of ppl, the less fuss the best.
Im still using kanger gear, waiting for my first RBA and working on Mods now. But i always have a trusty cheap ego VV when im on street, college, anywhere, its very portable and discrete.

I regret that I spent so much money on "affordable" APV's and ended up spending more overall than if I'd just gotten my REO's to begin with. Although, going through the other APV's (SID, VAMO, SVD, MVP2) made me appreciate just how much better of a vape the REO gives, so maybe it wasn't such a regret.

I regret buying Apollo TGo batteries, and Cleaomizers. What a bunch of crap. I spent more time contacting support for replacements on non-charging batteries, and non-working clearos, than I did using them. I finally just gave up, and moved on...

I started with Apollo as well and the 2 CE4 clearomizers that came with the starter kit each failed within 24 hours of their being put into use. No complaints about the eGo batteries that came with that kit. They would only replace the defective pieces they sold me if I shipped them back at my expense. I simply buy elsewhere now.

As this board has a combination of new and veteran vapers, I'm just curious what your biggest regret is in vaping. I would say that mine is simply the use of the BLU cig as I failed miserably with it. This is not to say that they are horrible, because I know some people use these exclusively and successfully, but they simply did not work out for me. On the plus side, they did introduce me to vaping and at the very beginning I definitely thought that with vaping I'd eventually be able to stop using analogs.
Very good question...
I'm spending more $$ then i would like too :(
