I second the "never" estimate.

I got close to it, but pushed the button on some stuff... again.

Not that I need it... I have two liters of juice, more than enough PVs, RBAs, coil, mesh, driptips and what have you... But the GAS got the better of me again.

I don't mind. I am a gadget geek and love fiddling with new bright and shiney stuff.. And hey, this hobby means that the health benefits more than make up for any break-even I could ever hope for

I do not know how I manage it since I should have more money now. From the gear and doing DIY I must have broken even.
Thing is I am still as broke as if I smoked No clue where the money goes

price of 35 mods and tons of gear over 5000 $ but I consider my self ahead feeling better,a better quality of life. All the great people I interact with as a vapor are priceless.

been vaping just over a year and a half. i broke even just before my first year was up. im ahead by roughly $2000 but i didnt stop smoking to save money. im not the kind that needs the newest mods, im still vaping on my kgo (although i have an ipro, telscope mod and a glv mini (those cost me $340 combined).

Used to smoke 1.5 packs a day, $400 or so a month.

First purchase was alright, saved a couple of hundreds that month..

Then the vape bug bit me hard...
First came the juices, then the zenesis, and now the GGTS + Penelope...

I think I'm in the hole for like the next 3 months at least!

I am tracking break even, along with flavor thoughts, diy records, with a bunch of random notes in a spread sheet. I think my initial - go crazy on gear - phase is subsiding. Money will be saved long term.

But I think I need to invest in more juice, and a few tanks now that I found really nummy juices..

As of right now, I've got 60 dollars to go til my break even point!

It is possible to break even and then save. I did it months ago. For some, this is a hobby, for me, it's just managing an addiction, while trying not to pick up a new one(shopping).

I have broken even a couple of times and saved money. Then I buy a couple more things and more juice....back in the red for a couple of weeks. I took out the wasted money and compared what I would be. I would be in the black consistently if I hadn't purchased extra cartridges and atomizers just before getting the Nova.

On my spreadsheet I keep track of hardware supplies and juice (separating them out to their own column). Comparing how much I have spent on juice to how much I spent on cigs, I'm way ahead on that comparison.

My break even date will be in 8 months, if I buy NOTHING until then, which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY! I smoked about 4 American Spirits each day, so to break even will take a miracle. It's all good though because I am so happy to be STINKY FREE for a month now! I AM A Happy happy happy vaping girl!

I was spending $300 a month on cigarettes. Right now I'm spending $60 or so a month on juices.... my big purchase was the Zenesis which was in a benefit auction, I'm still paying that off on a credit card. This month I spent $100 between juice and the MVP. I don't do the math. It took a long time for me to hit break even point, but I don't care.... I feel better... I look better because my skin is healthier, and I'm not worrying that I'm getting lung cancer with every puff anymore.
