Let's say you haven't consumed nicotine for 12 hours. How does it feel if you start vaping a 18 nic juice? For me, after a few puffs, my whole body becomes so loose and relaxed. This effect is even stronger than that of smoking.

It's a little weird that 18 nic fruity juice of the same brand (which is clear and runny) doesn't give me this feeling, while 18 nic tobacco juice (which is dark and viscous) does. Is it maybe indicating that higher VG carries nicotine better?

And finally, if you chain vape 18 nic juices, like 20ml in a few hours, do you get nicotine poisoning symptoms? I'm not sure if the irritability I'm experiencing these days is because of that, for I take some medications too.

Assuming you normally vape 18mg juice, it’d be comparable to having a good long sleep over night without smoking a cigarette. I recall getting a tad light headed, etc, with a little morning "nic rush” during that first cig of the day.

When you say “tobacco juice”, do you mean tobacco flavored or is it a different type of juice? Do the one’s you’re comparing have different VG/PG ratios?

The amount you can handle before becoming ill is different for everyone. The amount you normally consume is a large factor, as is frequency (which is the same really.) Nicotine over dose is a thing though. I learned this years ago when I thought it’d be a good idea to wear two nic patches:nah: I couldn’t hold my eyes open &/or head up. I couldn’t stay awake much less hold a conversation or even realise I was making myself sick. No one knew I had two patches on. So I appeared to just be extremely sleepy. Several hours later, for a moment, I was able to think clear enough to realise I was very intoxicated. I pulled both patches off and passed back out with them in my hand. When I awoke next, I realised how much time had passed and what I’d done. This is one of those young and dumb things I did in which I’m not proud. A lot of people don’t realise nicotine can poison. So, to answer your question... Yes, you can get nicotine poisoning if you’re not used to the amount of nic your consuming. How sick depends on what your used to and how much you go over your usual amount.

I mean tobacco flavored. The VG/PG is not written, but I'm guessing the tobacco flavored one is like 70VG while the clear ones are 50VG.

And thanks for sharing the helpful information. :)

If you over dose nicotine by vaping, your body will tell you. Youll get lightheaded, dizzy, nauseaus, maybe a little cold sweat on your forehead. This usually wil cause someone to put the mod down for a bit. These effects thankfully wear of fairly quickly. As natasha pointed out, wearing 2 time release patches meant she was getting a steady dose of nicotine that was only controllable by removing the patches, and if someone is having more serious symptoms, such as those she described, being able to think clearly enough to remove them was much more difficult to do than simply putting your mod down for a bit to let the nic wear off.

A lot depends on how you are vaping it. 20 ML in a few hours of 18mg chain vaping would indicate a subohm tank. Not a good idea to chain vape 360 mg total nicotine in a few hours.

Cigarettes have somewhere between 10 to 20 mg per cigarette with estimates of around 1 mg absorbed in smoking one.

IMO as long as both liquids, no matter the VG/PG ratio, have the same amount and type of nicotine, I can’t imagine getting a different “feeling” from vaping them. I guess if you used different devices for each as well, perhaps. Again, this is only my opinion. Though, I haven’t tried many different VG/PG ratios either. So...

I agree 100% with @Coyote628 & @Beamslider . Always happy to help!

I vape 18 m.g m/l. Maybe I notice slightly more effect when I wake up and haven't vaped. IDK. The main thing is to keep an eye out for overload symptoms of nicotine and kind of go from there. If 18 mg/ml is too high at certain points, you can lower or raise your nicotine level however you want/need to do so during the day. The body is kind of self-limiting though, I've had nic overload from time to time, and I really didn't want to vape and etc.

Depends how long have you been smoking before i guess. I was a smoker for 18 years. And I did 24 mg on stick vapes, slowly reducing my cigarette count per day. Most delay in smoking was during long flights, 24-36 hours. Max i haven't smoked was for 3 days. And to be honest after that long, no vape even comes close to a Benson & Hedges or a 555. :)

I’ve vaped from 24 mg down to 3, vg/pg ratios all over the place, more flavors than I can count, and several brands of nic. 18 mgs is 18 mgs, regardless of any of the other factors, except as mentioned, different devices.

You get a much bigger hit from subohm than over ohm.

I’ve never had a nic OD but if I vaped too much, I’d know. I’d get a headache that would go away quickly with a drink of water.

I realized that fruity juice was 6 nic, not 18. That explains.

When I vaped 18mg it was medicinal. Once I worked up to it I had no problems. I didn't go 12 hours without. It didn't matter what I used, I vaped 3ml a day.
I always felt foggy, over-nic'd.

20ml in a few hours, you're probably blowing most of it out or your body would slow you down. 20ml in a few hours of thinking you were vaping 18mg but actually was vaping 6mg would make more sense.

I vape MTL with 18mg nic. But I only go through 2-3 ml per day. If I don't vape for an hour or two, the first good hit will give me a bit of a head rush, but not in a bad way. In a way that I can appreciate waiting an hour or two for.
I think what you do is best for ex-smokers. It also costs much less in terms of both juice and coils. I'm thinking of going that way.

It took me a while to find my sweet spot, but I haven't changed it in over two years now. Between learning to DIY liquids and building my own coils, my expenses are minimal. Well, they WOULD be minimal if I could keep myself from buying new RTAs and mods anyway...

Give it a shot, especially if you DIY liquids. A small batch will cost you a couple bucks to make, and it might help you find what works best for you.

Not bloody likely. About 7 hours max, while I'm sleeping.

Long flights require nic gum to keep me from opening the emergency exit and climbing out on the wing for a vape. :D

How does it feel if you start vaping a 18 nic juice?
I haven't vaped 18 in about four years. I was at 15 for roughly 2-1/2 years and am currently at 13. Yes, I mix it myself. First thing in the morning, it wakes me up, both mentally and physically, but not as fast as cigarettes did.

And finally, if you chain vape 18 nic juices, like 20ml in a few hours [...]

Can't say I've ever done that. I don't think I've ever gone through more than about 8 ml in a day and currently use about 5.

If you're going to chain-vape 20 ml of juice in a few hours, It might be better to use a lower strength. ;)

Your two 18mg juices may not be mixed as labelled. That would be my guess. I vape 60pg/40vg mostly. I haven't heard anyone say that 100% VG juice carries a harder nic hit. More throat hit is usually associated with high PG juices. VG is generally smooth and without a lot of throat hit. VG does have a sweeter taste than PG.

I started with 24mg juice while coming off the smokes. 24mg was the right mix for me at that time (8 years ago). After slowly moving down to 3mg nic and becoming accustomed to it I'd hate to jump that high again right away. Recently, I mixed up some 12mg unflavored juice and got a little buzz and a little bit of a cold feeling in my feet and hands! Vaping 3mg had centered me on a low nic level and I wasn't used to higher levels. I'm vaping 6mg juice lately.
