I used to buy CE4s in bulk, but at the time nothing else was available. The only other clearos I've bought in bulk are CE3 XLs (also called "Phoenix Bottom Coil Cartos" by some vendors, which is odd since they are obviously clearos). Anyway, they work well for me because they only hold a small amount of juice and are dirt cheap (they come in packs of 5). The drawbacks for some people is that you have to fill them with a syringe and while I've heard they can be cleaned, it's not worth the hassle. Those of us who use them just dedicate one flavor to it. They are slim, which I like, since I can put 5 or 6 in a medicine bottle and throw them in my bag; but, because they are slim they do look kind of weird on a mod. Shrug. I vape, it already looks dumb, so I don't care anymore.

Link to a very good review by SteelJan: GotVapes Phoenix Bottom-Coil Clearomizer Review - YouTube

This is where I bought mine: CE3 XL Clearomizer [CE3XL] - $8.50 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts

Check out the prices on VC's other clearos, their prices are pretty good.

When you say 'budget', how much do plan on spending? I prefer Pyrex glass lined tanks such as the Aspire ET-S or the ARO Clearomiser.

Those are around $7.99-8.49 each. I stay away from plastic tanks due to potential of BPAs and other compounds leaching into the ejuice.

These are 1/2 the price of a Protank and work just a good if not better, only drawback is the capacity is about 2-2.5 ml.

The OP said he was looking for clearos.

I am currently still using the ce4 heads I first got (4 out of 5 still going good) however I know the life span is short. I do have a pro tank II on the way. I vape several flavors a day and cannot buy 4 or 5 expensive tanks. So what is your favorite tank you buy in bulk?

Like everything vape related the initial cost is high. Best to buy rebuildable clearos in which you can wash, dry burn and replace the head. I use the Vision Vivi Nova and heads are lasting about 10 weeks- bought the heads for $1.50 each so operating costs are very low. Have been using the same 5 Vision Vivi tanks for over a year now. Heads were costing me 15 cents per week but now rebuilding my own heads and costs less than 5 cents per week.

He has clearo's...he has ordered something new for him...a Protank. He apparantly wants some tank system cheaper. Im not reading that he wants to buy clearo's.

The rocket......Its still a tank system, Its cheap, you can buy them in bulk. Why not jump in to a better vape? Why hold folks back.

So you have to learn wrap a coil. Big deal.

I'm actually pretty green on what is available and how what works. Thanks all. I want the best vape on a frugal budget.

Get any basic tank RBA, whatever gauge wire that would work with your battery well, and some kind of wick. On average, each rebuild would cost you ~50c if that. The taste will be miles over most simple clearos, and you can tweak it to your liking (by making the coil differently).

My favorite plastic tank is the iClear16. You don't replace the whole tank, just the coil assembly when needed. With occasional dry-burning, the coils can last a long time. I have three of those going now.

I like a lot of plastic tank cracking flavors so I need glass ( or metal) tanks for those. My choice is the mini Protank 2 or the Davide Mini. There's more of an up-front cost for these, but again, only the coil head need to be replaced once it's done-in. Both Davide and PT use the same heads, so you only have to stock-up one type of spare, even if you have both brands of tank. The real savings comes in if you learn to re-coil the heads yourself. New coil heads run about $5 or $6 for a 5 pack if you catch a sale, but recoiling them yourself gets the cost down very low, under a quarter depending on what materials you choose.

So spend a little more on tanks with replaceable coils up front, but save in the long run compared to disposable CE4 types, just buying the coil heads or re-building.

EVODs are too airy for me. T3S minis are good buy I prefer iSmoka (also named Anyvape I think) which run me 10.50 for the kit that comes with 3 heads. Replacement heads are 10.00 for 5. But I buy where I get a 20% discount plus the heads are one of the easiest (two me) to rebuild so they're easy on my budget. I also like them because they're the lightest weight-wise. ooops... why not the T3S mini... well its okay vape-wise but I don't like its appearance and you can't use a different drip tip on it... same with the EVOD plus, with it, I can't see my juice level very well in its skinny little window.

I apologize, I was interpreting the OP's question differently. I didn't mean your suggestion wasn't a good one, I was just wondered if it fit what he was looking for the way he described it.

Hi

When you say "tank" do you mean clearos (including glass) or carto tanks?

Sorry clearos
So much new lingo

As I see from later posts I was being too conservative about the OP's interest level.
