I have a lot of Lr 510s from Eastmall and none of this has happened to mine but I did hear of it happening to a couple of other people. I like these attys a lot..

It may be they fall apart, or separate when pulling of the drip tip, need to hold the atty when pulling off that tip.
How long are these attys lasting you?

Thats what I heard happened Smokie is they came apart from the base. Guess they are glued or something. I have been using them and they are lasting about several weeks to a month usually. I have heard some said they are lasting longer than that but mine usually dont.. lol

Yes they are glued on, that happened to me with a TW atty. And if you are getting about a month use out of one, then they are well worth it for the price.

Hi Smokie,

I have just chucked my first LR510 atty after 4 weeks and 2 days,

excellent value I would say.

we have many members reports of approx - 4 weeks for these LR attys.

and yes, I would agree, the driptips fit pretty tight into the atty,
so if you pull without holding fast to the atty,
I can see how it would pull apart.
:)

Thank You for the Update on how long these attys are lasting.

the other day i thought that my first EM-LR510 died. turned out the batt needed a recharge. i have them since they were first released. back in April?

Actually, that is one thing I really do love about the RiVa,

it goes and goes, and then it stops dead,
it demands to be recharged,

it does not whimp out and slowly dies
giving less and less vape, -

it keeps going till it needs charging, then it quits and says -

no more till you recharge me -- hahhaahaha

I have never gotten a month off of any atty, but I will say EM LR has lasted me as long as any other LR atty and a whole heck of a lot longer than the ones I got DOA (long story, but won't go there) from another vendor when they first came out... Never had one EM atty fall apart on me, and I am hard on atty's trust me.. Hot box all day long

the most I ever got off an atty was with my first DSE 801 attys,
I got an average of 3 weeks on those 18 months plus ago---

I never liked the 510 or the 901 cos the carts were too small, constant dripping to keep them wet etc ------

then I tried these EM-LR5 and I was amazed,
4 weeks and 2 days on my first one ---- wow --

and I am hard on attys too - constant vape 16 - 18 hours a day --

I am a convert for these, deffinately--

and now I am trying the LR901 to see if it as good ------

2 1/2 weeks on my forst LR901 and I am liking it very much --

I use the Indulgence passthru and Indulgence with 18650 battery, and RiVa with both of these attys, and I love them-

I am deffinately a convert -- :)

In the past it was routine to throw away my 510 atties after a week or two of use... Sometimes even on the first day...

But, my EM510LR has a little more than two months on it shoulder and continues! Mostly on a mod, mostly dripping. I don't know what to say...

DIIIIIIEEEEEE!!! Nope, still working :D:D:D:D

Fantastic Jumi ---

keep it going--

you have the record now -----

I dropped my chuck and bent one, glad it was the atty that broke the fall and not the connector on the chuck that gave way. I bent it back with pliers and it was good to go, so none falling apart here. I have been rotating 3 of them for weeks without a failure.

Well done LukeNM

I've had the casing become slightly loose but I've had the same thing with other makes too, all that pulling with drip tips is going to loosen what is an aluminum press fit tube. As has been mentioned, it's better that a cheap part such as the atty gives way than the battery or mod.
I've tried what I believe are four different makes of 510 LR and the EM5 LR is the best of all of them in my unbiased opinion, they give the best value, best lifespan and best performance over that lifespan compared to any other make. Please don't change your recipe!
