My favorite mod would be something that can do 5 volts and can easily fit in the palm of your hand. The smaller the better.
Most box mods are too big, IMHO. I waited for awhile to start modding because all the box mods were too big and looked like detonators. I dont have huge hands and I couldnt possibly be able to hide one in the palm of my hand. This is why Sassyblondeinwa's find of the Duracell Pocket Charger along with Connman's actual mod of it was the first one I tried and until I can find something smaller that can handle 5 volt vaping (doubtful) I would say this will be my favorite mod.

Create a box that feeds like an Ali'i Welcome to R&R Manufacturing - Handcrafted Battery Box Mods that is multi-voltage like a Fistpack Fist Packs by Nuck and you would have the Ultimate Mod!
Yes!!! I was thinking the Ali! (I have a bit of woodworking background, just no wood at the moment). Something like the VARbox is really really what I've been thinking about. I'm going to have to check out that tutorial on the fistpack. I even already ordered some voltage displays that I hope would work (even before I saw your VARbox)...very similar to the one you used. These are truly outstanding ideas...now if I could figure out how to get everything in the VARbox in the shape of a pen with a pen clip, I'd be in heaven...lol.
I do have a question about the VARbox...does the USB just charge the battery or does it get angry with you if you vape while it's plugged in?

the usb is wired to the pos and neg battery contacts. so if i get rid of the battery its like a 5V PT (or whatever voltage i have as source). theres no charger in the box. if i wanna vape and charge the batt at the same time i add a charger to my usb cable.
