I'm a registered nurse and work in home hospice.
My first experience with hospice was when my dad died of lung cancer. He chose to finish his life at home, and the help we received from the hospice nurse was so comforting. I can't even tell you how much I admire you for what you do. I know I couldn't do it.

My regular job title is Ruler of the universe. You can visit me at my office by using a key from an unprobability field or by using an infinite improbability drive.

I part time as an evil genius. My lair is secret, but feel free to request a job application. I'm always in search of good henchmen and there is always a regular turnover rate for minions associated with the hazards of the job.

Retired and lovin it, I was in the US Navy for 8 years, then a security officer for JC Penny, then a Deputy Sheriff, then a security officer at a military college. Before the Navy I was a waitress, a bartender, and a receptionist at a veterinary clinic, worked as a temp for IBM repairing PCB's (that was in the early 80's before many PCB's were mass produced). Now I raise chickens and weave baskets (insert joke here) for extra cash.

Welll.... Sort of. Sometimes I do communication equipment (I climb a lot of towers). Sometimes I install networks. Sometimes I do repair work (mostly malware removal for folks who misbehave on the internet - sometimes for my company and sometimes for others in my community). People really misunderstand that part of what I do, so I get calls for everything from PC repair to hooking up someone's entertainment center to programming a new thermostat or setting up email on someone's smart phone (and I gladly answer those calls and do those sorts of things). ... But, IT and Communications work is just part of the complexity of how I make my living.

Sometimes I fly a crop duster. Sometimes I teach wilderness survival classes. I do quite a lot of ranch work in the Spring and Fall (calving and harvest). Twice a month, I teach a combat shotgun class. I have a placer mine I work when I have time. I run a small trap line a couple of months out of the year. And, every so often, I get a call to consult on a demolition job because I know something about how electronics, physics, and explosives can work together towards the goal of moving or removing obstacles.

So... Yup. Ruler of the universe ;) I'm not awfully picky about where the dollars come from. Money is just the stuff I trade for other stuff, so I don't like to be any more specific about where money comes from that I am about what I might trade it for.

six, your real life description sounds a lot more interesting. I'd love to have a cup of coffee with you!

Me too!! And I want to take your Wilderness survival class, and learn how to be a ranch hand, and trap.... much more interesting than chickens and baskets :D

Life is good

So you're likely an AutoCad master also?

Not sure what happened there on that quote?
