Professional Student at the time, just finished a 3 year stint in the US Army early 2013. Before that I was a mechanic at a BMW shop.

Wish you were around my area to work on my '92 E30 325i convertable!! Costing me an arm & leg to maintain. Runs great but the rubber pieces on a 24 year old car are crumbling here in new england! Frustrating to pay $100 p/h labor charges for 3/4 hour jobs to replace $25-$50 rubber pieces!!!! But like my trusty REOs I wouldn't sell her for the world, she's my baby! :)

I retired from EA Games but I always wanted to join the circus. Not sure what I'd do maybe work the freak sideshow attraction. I could be billed as the "WORLD'S TALLEST MIDGET". Who wouldn't pay to see that!

In my youth I did a bit of the ol' human blockhead/pin cushion on the street corners (damn you Jim Rose). I could teach you, then serve kabobs and we would make a fortune!
Then I cooked for 12 years from Wendy's on up to line cook for breakfast and lunch at a fancy resort, the Princess of Lichtenstein liked my frittatas an hotcakes. Then went to cook for a hospital that was looking to improve the food (and they did, lots of fresh local produce and all the seasonings you could want...sadly except for salt). Burnt out on the pace and hours, fell in love and these days:
I stack potatoes and pick out melons for old ladies.

You retired from EA the company or playing their games? I ask because I worked for EA for a long time.

Redwood City for 9 years on the help desk. 7 of those years as a fulltime temp thru Milestone then then after promises of a perm they finally did it then 2 years later that big layoff. :glare: The best part was the new releases games @$20 console and $10 PC. It use to be almost unlimited till greed employees started selling them cheap on ebay then it was only 2-3 ea if I remember. For many years I was everyone's favorite uncle and friend.

The main lobby was awesome and security was firm but cool to my visitors. I didn't miss the 2 hour drive over the hill to and from work.

Nice!

I was at EAC in Vancouver. EP for FIFA for most of that (software engineer before jumping to Production). My commute was 15 mins. :)

I've been to the last 3 head offices in the bay area many, many times - never for shiggles, always to account for my sins (i.e., franchise reviews) with Larry Probst and co.
