the kgo comes off the charger @4.2v and runs @3.7 most of the way. you will notice a small drop off little before battery goes dead. version 1 kgo's are very very good.....the v2 hoosierecig is selling has given me nothing but problems. the "slight improvement" that someone mentioned...im suspecting that they have not tried the v2.
i had mine replaced because i thought it was faulty, turns out it wasnt. (all 4 batteries acted the same way) if you take drags longer than 4 seconds, the light will start blinking and it turns off. you have to do a 5 click operation to get it going again, only to blink 5 more times few puffs later.
until you actually HAVE used up the whole battery, mine requires me to do the 5 click operation about 20 times. kinda annoying. the version 1 (which they dont sell anymore) never had this problem, ran strong for over a year. why they have to mess with a good thing is beyond me.

how do you know what version it is?

I have the V2 kgos and haven't had any problems with them. The differences between them and the v1, per site info:
V2 changes- Linear discharge- Meaning when the button is pressed the power is on continuously, no more pulsing the power on and off like the last generation of KGO batteries. This equals a better hit.
Auto Lock protection- Meaning if the button is pressed for more than 10 seconds it will automatically go into lock mode requiring you to click the button 5 times to reactivate it. This is a measure to prevent accidental overheating of the clearomizer and the battery if you forget to lock it before putting it in your pocket or purse.
So yeah if you take super long drags I guess it might go into lock mode. I'm a chain vaper, and never had it happen to me. If it's locked you push the button 5 times and it unlocks..I have very few working brain cells due to old age and children and was in the middle of quitting a 3 PAD habit and I didn't find that complicated. :p

I also have a kgo 650 MaH vv which is mostly an okay device but I had the button band on it break 3 times in 6 weeks. I wouldn't really recommend it because of that. Brent at Hoosier was kind enough to send me two replacement buttons and after that I decided to move on. You can get a ego 650 mah vv with a better button at Lj's esmokes which is otherwise almost identical. Or the Vision Spinners are good, pretty solid and the markings are easy to read, and can be had in 1300 MaH which gives a good vape time even using vv.
