Been following a few people but, I come away disappointed. It just seems that (I won't name names) some or
even all of these folks give the highest review to the freebie of the day. Geez, one guy even started off his video
showing this big box of free goodies he got in the mail that day and, guess what?? He LOVED everything in the
box! LOL He seems to have a good time making videos almost every day but, I had to cancel my subscription
for the reasons I noted. If you give it, he loves it and will recommend it!
So, who do you like as far as actually watching a product demonstrated?
I'm going to assume that many members would say stay right here at the forum but, again, there must be someone
we can depend on to be honest and unbiased??

Thanks!

Phil Busardo, or just search Pbusardo... All of his reviews are professional and he does them with us in mind, not the vendor.

Unfortunately he doesn't get to spend a lot of time with the products because he has so many to review. So keep that in mind. He may give a thumbs up to a product that turns out has issues 2-3 months into ownership. Phil may spend a few days to a week with a product before having to move on to something else. But if a product is crap right out of the box or if he doesn't like it for some reason, he'll tell you. lol

Phil is the one I've been following mostly. You're right about the fact of not spending really enough time with a product.
Actually, wouldn't we all prefer a really tested review? If he feels pressure to crank out reviews, that could be interpreted as trying to keep the products coming in :( I know indoor reviews that way :( A lot of folks find him 'entertaining but, I don't care or need that. I've got cable and Netflix! LOL. I've watched indoor open a box he just got 'free' and go on to rave about it :( Needless to say, he's off my list. I don't mean to sound like a hater but, a review is one thing hyping is another. Does anyone feel a reviewer is obligated to go back after a month or so, and retract? Subscribers and views is a healthy income for some of these folks! I remember a while back getting a 200.00 check from Google for posting a monkey joke!! Crazy!!

I like some of pbusardo , but he whined a lot about the button on the Mvp 2 saying it was too hard to push. I like the button personally, has a crispness to the click.

That's the thing about reviews, you can get an educated idea about something but nothing is better than trying the product yourself.

Pbusardo, Indoorsmokers and the VapingGreek are my top three. I do agree that indoorsmokers is the most lenient as far as critiquing the items he gets, however, I don't find it inconsistent if you compare what he says with many other review personalities on youtube. Aside from the e-juice reviews, I think when it comes to tank and PV reviews, he's not really off the mark. Then again, considering where he resides and what he seems to partake on a daily basis, you have to take his antics with a little grain of salt. Still, I find him entertaining enough to check in time to time if he has a review posted on something I am curious to see.

Pbusardo's reviews is usually the last nudge when I'm on the fence about something since he pretty much covers everything you could possibly cover in a video review short of actually trying it yourself. The VapingGreek is sort of like my cliff notes for TasteYourJuice ;)

I should have been more clear and kinda set a criteria when I started the thread?
For me, my number one HAS to be, do I trust the reviewer is just doing as promised to the vender?
An arrangement sort of. Send me free stuff and I'll review and advertise it for you :(
The recent video of IndoorSmoker getting a large free package, proceeded by positive reviewing, turned me off. Sure I'd sit and vape with him but, I would not purchase based on his reviews. I mean NO hate.
Also, how worthy is any review after a few minutes of testing. At least give it a week?
I realize their is an incentive for all these folks so, it's pretty tough to filter things out.
For me being entertained is very low on my list of reasons to watch. I've said that before :(

It's hard to find "good" reviewers of anything. I absolutely believe a fair amount of people review things in the hopes of freebies. That incentive leaves reviewers wanting to put a positive spin on whatever they're pseudo selling. If I had to trust one reviewer (not a salesman) it would still be PBusardo. To the best of my limited knowledge, he tries to be honest and upfront about the products he reviews. That's my last two cents.

I think phil Busardo is the best reviewer by a very long shot. I do not think anyone even comes close. He is articulate and does not come off as an elitist vaper. He is humble and takes the new vaper in mind. He presents the merchandise in a professional manner and his camera shots are the best that I have seen thus far.

That being said, I find it very difficult to see a reviewer destroying something that he or she just got for free. I think that if someone is going to do a review they should go out and spend their own money. Then maybe, you will finally see some unbiased reviews. I understand this stuff cost money so if you cannot afford an item, then you should not review it.

I love Phil but I saw him rip a mod for 20 minutes and then he gives no thumbs up or down. This is something I really do not like. Also, all these manufactures and reviewers are going to all these vape fest and now are becoming good friends. Are you going to destroy a product from a friend. I know I could not do that.

One more thing about Phil is that opening of his videos with that hideous intro. Please stop that Phil...you are killing me. All this being said Phil is the best with no contenders in sight. This is all my opinion of course. Please...Please...do not rip me apart..................lol

I like Phil, even though he gives my favorites a thumbs down.
He is very talkative.

For juice reviews probablly none of them....we all have different tastes, but phil seems to have the best palate, and highest expectations for quality. What ever he says about a flavor i take with a grain of salt, but when he says a company makes good or bad juice i take his word for it I trust his judgment phil also seems to be passionate about quality juice, maybe more so than his passion about hardware.

For devices and attys. without doubt Todd, he has vaped almost every device out there even some of his hated clones. He is adept and knowledable on all styles of vaping from drippers to gennys and everything in between. he's comfortable modding, and I don't think there's another reviewer out there that comes close to his experince, and his knowledge about how good a vape can get given the right device and set up.He also covers alot of the high end devices, and more obscure stuff.

I think the vaping greek is also in this league, I really enjoyed his review in athens with atmimoxani.

I just watched about 3 videos by Todd and I cannot understand a word out of his mouth. He seems like a real nice guy but a Phil Busardo he is not.

I also watched the rip tripper and he goes way too fast...he appears to be a reviewer for advanced vapers. Also, I am very interested to know if these reviewers get a commission when someone clicks on their link to the vendor whose merchandise they are reviewing if that person buys something from said vendor. I am really interested by this and it would explain many things to me.

Ya know, I swear I was going to say the same thing. Tough understand but, what bothered me most is he comes off extremely indecisive. Never a concise, definitive conclusion. I think any of these guys should have their opinions set before they do a review. Any of them. Todd looks around in wonder about everything he is about to say. I know some people like 'him' but I wonder if most are Brits and have no issues with his clarity? Let me be CLEAR, it is NOT personal or, based on UK or USA. How shallow I would be. He seems like a charming guy but, my op asked about reviewing trust. I don't care pretty, or charming or, funny some one is if they're just shills for their vendor, right? I would like to know two things up front from any reviewer, did you pay for what you're about to review and, how many days or weeks have you 'tested' or 'played' with it.
A 30 minute review from someone who you are watching open a box and try? Really? I don't particularly care for "My first impression" reviews. Your first impression?? Are you going to come back in thirty days for a follow up?? Of course, there I go again, LOL. I think a reviewer has a responsibility to do a follow up on EVERY product, if his opinions have changed. I don't see much of that :( Whew! I'm exhausted! I need a ciggar%#*, I mean vape!
I gotta say, I'm happy this * page thread has not turned into any kind of hate or bash fest :) :)

Keep in mind the reviews are free.

If you mean we do not have to pay to watch? True. Do you think that is something that you and I should take into consideration?
For me, absolutely not. Please keep in mind, youtuber's with high view and subscriber numbers are benefiting in 'big' ways.
I'm talking cold, hard cash, plus the devices they keep. Even on my stupid youtube page, which is mostly for family, I got a 200.00 check for the number of view I got for a Monkey Joke!!! 200.00!! I told you the amount I made because it is a relatively tiny amount. I doubt if any of these folks would post the amount the receive, nor are they obligated to.
There is money to be made. Please don't go to any extremes though in your thinking as if I'm saying all these people do is show a face/get a check.

keep in mind all reviews are bias to fit the lifestyle of the person. some prefer offset wick with clear tank, I hate to look at wick position with every vape and broken tank sucks too. reviews are just to give and idea how its designed in my eyes and you decide what fits your lifestyle. Todd is a nice person but I just cannot understand the accent, just looks like he might be having an orgasm to me so I kinda wanna know what ejuice he's using.
