Don't worry tinman- there seems to be a little flaming going on by a few people on this forum- I have no idea why though, but it kinda dissapoints me, as a newb myself- pretty sad. My 1st impression of reading your post was that it was all in fun, as I'm sure most other's impressions were too. I think it's kinda funny cuz I felt the same way as you at first. I've found my sweet spots in equipment right off the bat, and in juices.....I knew I liked the sweet tasting things, so that's what I went with. Go with what you crave. I will admit, there are a few juices that I went all out on, instead of sampler bottles and wasted some $$, but it's still helping me get to where I needed to be

Sorry didn't mean to come across defensive.. Just struck me wrong.

I have gotten about 4 others started vaping. Thanks to my experimenting with cartos, carts, attys, juices etc. I find I saved them money on start up. I got my ex-mother-in-law going on a 510 PCC kit Friday and knew exactly what would work best for her.. Cartos and VG juice.. She has respiratory issues much like my ex and the PG juice made my ex cough bad.. The ex-MIL lives 2 states away. I walked her through the whole thing over the phone and she is tickled to death. Her brand of cigs in Florida (those tiny virginia slim things) ran about 60.00 a carton. She spent 80 for a month supply of juice, LICORICE EWWW, the kit, cartos and a extra batt.

So my wasted money has helped others from my experience... I enjoy vaping, I enjoy helping others find alternative to cancer sticks.. all is good I guess..

yes my initial post was in jest.. I have spent way more money on a car that hasn't ran in 10 years and may be ten more before it is completed.. lol

None of it's wasted money or effort when you can pass on your knowledge and possibly equipment to someone interested. It's all a learning experience. I took your initial post in jest and totally agreed! I didn't think you were placing blame anywhere at all.

We were quite happy with our eGos and then the mod hunt began. An SB for him, a BB for me. Now we're into the DIY juice stuff which has been fun and really not expensive in the grand scheme of things. BUT we're always oogling on some shiney new mod and that's going to be our downfall. Carts, cartos, attys, juice, we've got all that figured out thankfullly and now we speak a language that no one else understands. "Hey honey, did you see that Super-T Mfg 10440? I sure do like that." "Yeah it's sleek looking but the battery life can't be all that great." "And those Woodimus Covetus (that's not what they're called but the way they made my husband drool they might as well have been!) are really sweet, especially in the light wood."

That's why we come here, you guys get us!

e-cigs are better for you and all in the house. The upfront cost is much more than a pack of analogs but after a month or so you break even and then you start to save. Got my tornando - 2 batts - attys and carts - and juice and I already way ahead of the cost curve; not to mention I do not wake up coughing anymore.
analogs - lung disease or COPD
e- cigs - priceless
