Went out for a ride on the bike today, thinking it looked like a beautiful day. I wasn't wrong, except there must be a fresh hole in the ozone layer right over the upstate. Good golly it's hot out there. I passed by a bank sign that showed 100 degrees, and it's May.

Down old Mexico way, here in sub-tropical Tampico, the temperature is 'only' 90 degrees but at 80% humidity!

It was only 37% when I checked this afternoon, so not too bad. It was just the first real hot one of the season, gotta get used to it again.

Truck was saying 101 when I got in it at 2:30PM at Ladson Flea Market.
Humidity level was up too.
And this is only May

At the moment it is 91 degrees with 48% humidity - that gives you a heat index or "feels like" temp of 96, but direct sun exposure could increase that by 15 degrees.....Just stay in, it's safer

It's days like these that make me happy I installed remote car starters while still in Michigan. Hit the button, wait half hour, go out to car, it's almost cool!

I got in my car and the read out said 113 degrees, i mean i couldn't breathe, and we have what 2-3 months more of this heat, i think i should move to Michigan, LOlolol!!!!!

Sugi I think that Columbia is the hottest place on the planet. The only thing that I don't miss about Charleston is that wet blanket that hits you in the face when you walk out the door lol

The lack of rain has it not too bad with the humidity in Charleston right now.
The grass is turning brown and crunchy sounding when you walk on it.

Salem I agree 100% Columbia is the hottest place on the Planet!!!
Not only in Chas, do u get that wet blanket; it stretches all the way up to Cola Town also!!!!!
It can be so bad I can't breathe when I first get in my car, it's so hot.

Salem I can think of no place I would rather be except on the porch(?) with those fuzzy little baby's in your avatar, they are soooooo cute.....
