Ystick, side-by-side with sx350j v2

I just pulled the trigger on the Ystick, now in pre-sale for just $159 at mini-ecig. It's based on the Xvostick but with a sx350j v2 chipset! Pretty good price for a mod with this chipset.
It looks kind of quircky because the chipset in placed in a bump on the side, but as I love my Xvostick and wanted a sx350j v2 anyway I decided to take a gamble on it.

I must say the quircky look is not really doing it for me but it is growing on me, everybody needs at least one weird looking mod in their collection

dimensions are:
Height: 83 mm
Width: 56 mm
Atty hole: diameter - 23.5mm, depth - max. 35 mm
Bottom size: 25 mm x 36 mm
Weight: 150 gr

There is also a 26650 comming out with the name ProYstick.

Although it looks weird, I am pretty excited about it, let's hope mini-ecig gets it right!

I don't think the sx350j v2 has that ability, so my guess would be no, just the regular 75w.
Most 26650 are only 20A, so 100w is questionable anyway on one 26650.

Ok so with 26650 pro version, I would assume the mod will be in a bigger diameter and not ergonomically shaped.

Also from the pre production picture, the firing button placement is very odd, I try to mimic the grip and fire, it made my thumb and index finger sore. lol.

Yes the width of the 26650 model is 59mm instead of 56mm, and the bottom size is 33-42mm instead of 25-36mm, so it's quite a bit larger, too large for me.

I see me firing it with my right hand using my thumb, doesn't seem too akward

I would do a little research on this vendor as the support and customer service can be a problem. ECF has a couple threads going on the rest of their product line.

Their reputation is a bit suspect.

Hehe I know, got a xvostick from them and shipment was delayed quite a few times with suspect reasons. But in the end I got it and it's a fantastic device.
So I am not assuming an april shipment, but I can wait.
And they seem to have cleaned up their act going from recent posts.
Guess we'll wait and see how they handle this, hope they have indeed improved

I never got mine and after waiting several months had to do a PP claim to get back the funds. I know others that had mechanical or cosmetic issues that were offered $10 off their next purchase or asked to do the repairs themselves.

Beautiful devices that seem to have some issues and were difficult to get support.

The main problem is that even if they have, if something goes wrong, it could be a long and painful process to get it fixed just due to the crappy postal service there...

It's good to hear that you got yours Steve. I almost had my hands on one locally with SS button and missed it by minutes. Probably one of the nicest side by sides to get your hands on and the SX chip really upped the game.

If the SX shows up at Vapin Art I may try it again and hope it doesn't have any issues. I would hate to have to send it back to Israel.

I think it's promising how quick they had this prototype out.
Some delays with the xvostick were caused by the anodizing proces, but they should have that down by now.
So who knows, maybe there will be fewer delays now,....but maybe I should err on the side of caution, and not get too optimistic lol

I know you goes went through h*ll getting the original batch & I'm in no way discounting that but in the higher end world it unfortunately seems pretty typical that modders don't meet expected release dates. Let's hope Mini learned from that & gets this one out closer to expected release date with much superior customer support if ( but hopefully not necessary) needed.

they are comming along nicely....also another price bump to $179, but shipping date moved to 26th of april
Let's hope that's for the second batch.....but I think that's wishfull thinking on my part

Edit: aah I read some more: 26th is indeed for the second batch...first batch still projected for 11th shipping
