YUK! The taste of my 510 carts are disgusting!!!

Brand new vapor 510, just received it yesterday and put it all together. Works pretty good, but OMG the taste is this sick SWEET flavor and the after-taste stayed with me for hours and hours affecting everything I ate or drank or smelled.

I was so excited to give up smoking America Spirit Analogs and start vaping. I'm SOOO disappointed. Is this a lost cause for me now?8-o
Any ideas or help???

Purchase some liquids and refill your cartridges with a taste you find more palatable. It's not only more cost effective than buying prefilled cartridges . . . it's more fun. The only problem is there are so many to try.

Edited to Add: It could also be the primer fluid. I've found that the primer fluid used by some manufacturers is simply awful.

There is broad disappointment in pre-filled cartridges. I have not liked any except for the Joye pre-filleds. I myself like them and ordered 50 to go along with my bottles of nicquid. As we all know, everyone is unique ... get yourself a few bottles and find the nicquid for you... don't give up yet.

I am not sure if this happened to anyone else, but every cart or juice that I tried for the first couple days tasted really sweet. I think it was my taste buds not tasting the flavor from 20+ years of smoking. After a few days of vaping more and smoking less, the flavor of my liquids started coming through. When bekarella said that about the sweetness, it brought flashbacks of my first few days vaping.

Noy all liquids taste the same. I personally LIKE the sweetness - especially since I switched to peach flavored! You just need to try different brands to see what you like.

You have to break in you new 510 and burn the primer off the atty. After awhile the taste will get better. But what others have said...try out other flavors.

I totally agree with this. Prefilled carts are very crappy. So much nicer to have a liquid of your choice, and cheaper! Also, there seems to be a "breaking in" period to most of these devices.

hi bekarella, I had the same experience a couple weeks ago when I got my 510. I'm pretty sure it's due to the 'primer' stuff on the atomizer. mine cleared up after a couple days of puffing it like a cigar intermittently.

I'm on my third day vaping and the same thing happened to me. I got the 510 as well. I had this lingering sweet/gross taste in my mouth for a day or so but it went away.

yes they do have great tasting cigs, i love the taste of organic tobacco, or used to try some flavors that are appealing to your taste if i may suggest try out some of goodprophets.coms flavors or ecigsmokestore.com ive heard alot on both of them good luck and happy vaping!!

I can't take sweet either, I've tried a few diferent flavors, and realized sweet is just not for me. I like a flavor called 555, taste kinda like peanuts, but at least it's not sweet.
