My first box. For the liquids that are not sold in the same sizes as what's in the box, we'll divide the price to match the lower volume (which is less than what they would cost if the size was sold). We're also going to ignore any shipping costs, as obviously ordering from a dozen vendors would raise the overall shipping significantly versus the one shipping fee from zample, and shipping varies from location to location. You could have also picked these flavors up at a B&M.

G2 Vapor - Vazilla $11 (30ml/2)
Alpha vape - Miss White $11 (30ml/2)
503 - Apple Pie $12.50
Clever vape - Nirvana $9
Potion Vape - More Plum $10.95
Alpha Vape - Manchu $11 (30ml/2)
503 - Sarsaparilla $12.50
Golden Drops - Strawberry Daiquiri Can't find a price for this one, lets leave it out of the total.
Johnson Creek Red Oak - Island $3.32 (15ml/3)
Roar Vapor - Love Potion $3.25 (11ml/2)
Totally Wicked - Patriot Range $4 (10ml/2)
Rocket Fuel Vapes - Harley's Blend tobacco $3.25 (10ml/2)
Mt Baker Vapor - Hawk Sauce $4 (15ml/1.5)

Total Cost: $92.52
Keep in mind this value would be higher if the vendors offered these size bottles because they would cost more than the reduced value of the larger size.
ZampleBox Cost: $40 (now it's $45)

Now some of the numbers are a little off because the correct bottle sizes are not available. Let's say shipping costs $10 from Zample. That brings the golden box to $55, a little more than half of our $92.52 total. $55 WITH shipping. Now add the cost of your gas and or shipping from multiple vendors to the $92.52 and see how much it goes up. Now if you are going to get all of these flavors you would either need to order them in bigger bottles or get sampler packs if the vendor offers them, then you're spending more money to sample the same set of flavors.

It is one huge deal, do the math.

Dat's a LOT of juice...

I'm sure they'd switch you if you contacted them, unless the increased amount of nicotine is what prompted the cost increase (nicotine is the most expensive ingredient and 18mg tripled it)

I doubt that's has anything to do with is since the Nov box was all misc nic levels from 0 to 18. That and the fact that every vender I've seen whether it be 0-nic or 24mg the price of their liquid is the same regardless.

I'm guessing its an oversight. I'm sure if contacted about it they'd switch the plan over keeping their grandfathered plan price intact. If not, that's a Little F-ed up IMHO.

With that in mind I would contact them before you switch Alot of times the grandfather plan disappears if you switch first

You're probably getting a december box since the January ones are ready to ship until the 9th, I understand. Still good though!

What was in the December box?

And does that mean I'll get a January box to? Or get double charged for the January box?

(I should've read those boxes instead of just clicking through them huh? )

Tucson, it's a dry heat
I assume you'll get the December box which had Alpha Vape, 503 eLiquid, Clevervape, G2, HUrricane Vapor, Golden Drops, Rocket Fuel Vapes, among others. All 6 mg.

January's box ships on the 9th of every month, so I can't imagine you getting TWO Jan. boxes.

I decided to give this a try last month with the thought that I'd give it a 3 month try and if I didn't like the juices or didn't think it was worth it, I'd cancel. I gave away two of the juices I got last month to my niece because I didn't like them. There was also a zero nic in there that I ended up throwing out. So.....December's really wasn't worth it for me. I also switched up to the 18 mg box for January and didn't even notice the price change until I read the posts here (so thanks for that!! - this is a great forum!). Anyway, I just sent out an e-mail about being grandfathered and notified them that if I wasn't grandfathered in at the original price, I was going to cancel my subscription. Will keep you advised when I hear back.

Jomoke, I sent them an email about the same thing. They said:

"If you keep your 6mg package you will be grandfathered in. However, the 18mg box is more expensive for us to produce so the cost is increased."

Don't know why the box would be more expensive "to produce" (since they don't make the juice), but it's a no go on the grandfathering.

I don't see how either considering when we all order ejuice and choose our nic level the price doesn't change on any vendors site. Price only changes when choosing a larger bottle or more flavor shots.

That doesn't necessarily mean the cost to Tony is the same - maybe they charge him by the price of their ingredients and time?

Most "sample box's" get their product at very very low prices in return for potential customers in the long run.

"Hi Josh, I can't disclose much information around, but what I can't say is that we signed deals to purchase juice for the 6mg box at a much lower rate than the 18mg juice. Because of the quantities we work with at ZampleBox (1000s of bottles) we were able to get our members excellent pricing on 6mg. Those same contracts didn't apply to 18mg because now the companies have to make separate batches just for us in that nic.
Anything beyond that is too detail and would violate the contracts we have in place with the companies.
Also, I should add that the current pricing is still for Early Members. The price will eventually go up.
-Tony"

Geez. I'm glad 6mg is the nic level I wanted from the get go. I'd be a Lil ticked off about losing my grandfathered price because they can't decide on a nic plan. That and they plan to raise prices yet again? Geez

It's working exactly like any other start up model. Go look at kickstarter - very limited run at barely over cost, next run is below retail but still at a discount, and then full production is at retail.
