Whoa. The name is censored now? What happened?

All of a sudden yesterday everyone who was using the "since-my-last..." quit smoking banner in their signature was now promoting an ad for this service in their quit smoking banner. My understanding is that was the last straw and now both the quit smoking banner we were using and this service were black listed.

Anyone who had/has that banner needs to pick another one. That's why it disappeared.

Well, seeing as how every place in the above msgs that might say where this is, or who is doing the invite, it's hard to know if it's really legit... I can't even click that link, it's all been replaced by dots.

:grr:

Nevermind, I figured it out -- I wasn't using their banner anyway, because they don't seem to realize that Feb has just 28 days -- which plays hell with the count when your last was on Feb 27!

Well, I've no idea about why this subscription service appears to have fallen out of favour with the forum, but they certainly are legit.

I subscribed in March, and had my gold box delivered to the UK really very quickly (quicker than I've received some domestic deliveries), and out of the 11 flavours in the box, just 2 I've not liked, and I've found four that I've absolutely loved, and it's encouraged me to try flavours I wouldn't have tried normally (I posted the pics &write up in the national forum).

I'm pretty new to vaping, but have already spent a fortune on trying to find liquid that I will prefer vaping over smoking my regular cigarettes, with really mixed results.

Of course they're not available in the subscription, but quelle horror - I have really liked some of the Dekang flavours (their Melon is superb) but have also had some really terrible, awful, disgusting juices (not sure of these name & shame rules, but man, my nearest b&m are great people, but some of their juice is really not my cuppa and it actually stalled my vaping for a while). I was looking for a range complex juices from brands I can trust.

Also, without wanting to sound like a spoiled brat, I appreciate quality, and so to be able to try a range of good quality juice, participate in an active microcosm community of other subscribers, and receive absolutely top notch service, well, it works for me.

Now this sounds like they paid me to post - they certainly have not! Most of my comments could probably be made by almost any subscription service, and from what I read on the forum, there are some great sub services popping up, and on fact it will be good to see how ZB and others deal with all the competition.

What ZB do is different though is because (particularly as a noob vaper) I clearly don't know my own tastebuds any more, so their Gold box allows me to have sufficient variety of flavours, even allowing for a small percentage that I don't like that I can share/PIF, the juice per bottle a very good value - certainly comparable to the local b&m I mentioned earlier). The other sub services I've looked at either seem to be much more expensive, or with too few different flavours sent per month.

There are sharks & charlatans, especially in an industry that's as relatively young as this, and experiencing such a mega boom at the moment, and this (and no doubt some of the other subscription services) help me navigate through that stuff and avoiding the worst. If they select a duff partner, they risk their reputation.

I hope they & the forum can resolve whatever issues there are which prevents their site being linkage or even their name being used, as I've got another box coming in a few weeks time and I wanna share what's in mine, and check out everyone else's!

It can be a bit like ogling other diners food in a restaurant though!

Could a mod point us at a sticky on this issue?

zbox is no scam, there's a few thousand of us in their facebook community happy to attest to it. This seems like a pretty over the top move.

They were advertising for free by way of sig banners, so ECF it seems, banned them. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/site-feedback-help/547404-sigbanners-adverts.html

Legitimate or not, what wasn't legitimate was zample somehow getting joined at the hip with the site that generated the since-my-last-cigarette quit smoking banner people were using in their signature. All of a sudden everyone who had been using that quit banner was now sporting an endorsement for zample - without anyone's knowledge or consent. That's what got both the since-my... quit banner and zample black listed on ECF. Not only was it SPAM it was extremely disingenuous to do that.

So this company was banned for having an advertisement in their banner. OK and does this company even have someone who runs or even work for said company even come on here? I'm sure this is not the only site that people used how long since they quit smoking banners on and I'm sure that other sites might have similar views on it as ecf but I'm betting the company has no clue they did something against the rules on here but yet their name was blacklisted. The internet is filled with advertisements, but it seems ecf won't allow them to advertise direct or indirectly on here due to what? Them not sponsoring the site? we have a page right here filled with advertisements Forum Suppliers List So it seems unless ecf is getting a kick back they are not allowed to be talked about, now that's shady in my opinion.

That wasn't the issue. It wasn't "their" banner. It was a banner from a completely different site that doesn't even sell anything, used to only show your quit smoking statistics, that had no connection to zample - that suddenly decided to start inserting zample ads in your quit smoking banner. NOBODY picked that banner to endorse zample by choice.

It's called SPAM. My e-mail is so full of it I don't even use it any longer. And that would be exactly what this site would turn into if monitoring for SPAM was turned off. If you have only been on here for a matter of a few weeks you have no idea how much crap gets slung at this site for all manner of stuff - ecig or otherwise. The mods have a constant battle on their hands to block crap for fake Jimmy Choo shoes, herbal supplements, and phone sex lines - among other things. If a supplier wants to register here then they can promote their products. If they don't want to register, and find a sneaky way to get their business name inserted into peoples sig banners - yeah, that's not cool.

So they were banned because other people used a quit smoking banner and quit smoking put ZB ads/logos in the banners?...

So... ban the quitsmoking banner.. not ZB.. o_O

It was tangential because at that point both the banner and zample were in violation. Whatever the connection is between the formerly clean since-my-last-cigarette banner and zample cannot be undone. That banner SPAM for zample didn't happen by accident. It was a back handed method to get zample's name promoted all over ECF by anyone using that quit banner, which up to this point had no advertising associated with it for all the years it had been in existence.

Anyone who wants any clarification really needs to put up a question in Site Help & Feedback.

So your email is full of spam but your signature on here is a link to a site to sign up for a mailing list. Isn't that how spam emails start? Yeah I am pretty sure it is. But yet CASAA is an acceptable site to link to on here. In my short time on here I notice when someone posts a url to a site the url gets changed by the forum as a redirect from here to them which mean ECF is getting a kick back if someone then buys something from the link they clicked on here. That's a bit shady right there. It shows this site only allows websites they get a kick back from. Which is what I said above you can try and put as much fluff and say that's not the case but that is what I can see clear as day. ECF wants something in return for their members learning of Zample on here from them.
I've seen quit smoking banners that were advertisments for Mount Baker Vaper on here. They are all over the thread about them in this section but that banner isn't blacklisted nor is their url blacklisted.
