That's super info, thanks so much ! :toast:

Just one little question more....when mine flew into pieces, it appears there were 2 springs.....one which remained on the botton post of the button, and a graduated one that flew off but I found again...any advice on where I place that?

mine only has 1 spring, upload a picture of the 2 springs on the same pic

Hi everybody,

I know that this question has probably been answered a million times but I just want to make sure that I don't mess up my device before making alterations so I have to ask first. I just purchased an Altus. The switch does not work. I contacted electronicstix.com and they were not able to help me or return my money. Tried to call the number on the House of Hybrids site as I was told to do by the vendor and left a voicemail. No one has called me back. I now have a $250 paperweight.

The support guy at electronicsitx said that I have the new switch so the instructions I've seen in the past might not apply and it is hard to read thru the 50+ pages here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Very frustrated,

The switch does not work at all right now. It arrived on Thursday and maybe I was able to get 2 good clouds off of it in all that time. Each drag seams to be some percentage of the total power coming off the battery. I tried it with one more and one less washer and with and without the second spring. I use the IMR 18650 batteries (button top) and have been trying to hit that damn button in any way possible to get it to work. There seams to be only the slightest amount of throw with three washers in, better with only 2 but not enough to make contact.

I'd hate to have to sand down the screw because of the gold plating but I will do it if it needs to be done. Any other suggestions like purchasing new parts from the hardware store?

I did not receive a call back from HoH and I don't expect one over the weekend. It's very frustrating because this is my first high end mod, I had heard so many good things about the Zenisis system as well as the fact that it is fiddly but I'm not an electrical engineer and am concerned that I'll never get it to work.

Thanks for any help you can give. All suggestions are greatly apprieciated.

I've summoned some facebook folks. Hopefully we can help you get it sorted. What happens if you don't use the delrin cup in the switch? Just try the spring that is not cone shaped without the delrin cup. use two washers with this, as this resembles the old switch. If that doesn't work, then I'd say you may need to have Mike send you a new screw
