The results are in...

With 3 wraps of 28 gauge, I get an additional .35 volt drop with the stock setup compared to the low-ohm kit.

$8.95 well spent, in my opinion.

Well that is some good news, I better get off my bottom and order up 5 of those.

Thanks for letting us know, I had a feeling that is about the result we would see. I did some expermenting long ago with my first zen and some super size springs. These finger washers look like just the ticket .....

Sub ohm kit just arrived today, installed it and will be testing it with coils ranging from 0.5-1.1 over the next few days. Will do some dual sub ohm testing later. Throw isn't that much different than that of the newer version of the switch. If going from the original Zen 2 switch can see why some might need some getting used to it.

That seems to be on par with my 0.3 volt increase on a 1 ohm(ish) coil.

This spring seems to be much more well suited for Sidewinders. I have the feeling the throw would be too stiff for a tube mod.

This was my experience with the new spring. Did not like the throw on my tube mech. I went back to using a copper spring. I can hit that with my pinky just fine all day.
