That's exactly whey I intend to go back to using nicotine when I retire.
Which will hopefully be before the end of this year.

I finally figured out why some retired guys whine about it, they want you to keep working and paying Social Security taxes a little longer ... :sneaky:

Don't believe them, they lie ...

Retirement is the awesomest thing ever invented. If "awesomest" is not a proper word, it should be, just to describe retirement ...

I am 22 months into retired bliss, and one of the main reasons I vape is so I can live MUCH longer and take back more of that money that they sucked out of my paychecks for 43 years ... :D

I've been happy-ish at 1% for about 8 mo or so. I keep saying my next mix day, I'll re-do my recipes to
.5% ... but I always forget, and then another month goes by that I'm vaping 1%. So in my case, it's the process of taking a puff, blowing out the cloud that keeps me puffing. I use very light flavoring for my vape recipes. But to me, they are excellent. Mostly drip, lowish power, 'bout 20 - 30 watt, usually .5 ohm. I don't plan to quit vaping even if I get to zero nic.

i've used 0 nicotine liquid since August last year. When i first stopped smoking i was using 36mg/ml.

HRH still uses 18mg/ml and likely will forever.

To each his own, but I don't really understand vaping 0 nic. Why bother? The whole point, (for me at least), is a safer nicotine delivery system. When I no longer want or need any nicotine in my life, I'll simply quit altogether.

You might do. But there's a whole different world out there once you are free of the nicotine addiction(!! pfft). There's vaping for flavour, cloud chasing if you like, making coils - it becomes a hobby.

i never intended to stop using nicotine, it's just that since i make my own liquid it was one less additive and i don't subscribe to the view that nicotine is addictive or more harmful than a cup of coffee.

Nic is not as harmful as people say.

The problem for me us those damn cravings.

I am thrilled to have the nicotine monkey off my back.

I will probably vape 0 mg/ml FOREVER.

I have a whole system worked out. ;) I vape 3mg in the mornings, because I NEED IT. But I'm one of the unfortunates who are extremely sensitive to it, so I can't keep it up all day. (I sub-ohm now, but when I used an EVOD, I needed 12mg.) Mid-morning I go to 2mg, then down to 1mg around noon or so, and when our evening chores are done (we have a farm), I have to use zero nic or I can't sleep. I could use the 3mg stuff all day until I went to zero, but my sensitivity to nic is heart palpitations. All those decades I smoked like a chimney, and never suspected my heart problem was from nic. A doctor told me once, way back, that it was NOT from smoking (I asked him if it was), but most probably from caffeine, because I drink a lot of coffee. And that is just one example in a long list of examples of the misinformed doctors I've seen, which is why I no longer go to the doctor. Well, unless there was blood jetting from an artery or a bone sticking out of me, THEN I guess I'd go. ;)

I smoked for 35+ yrs

I have got my vaping down to 0MG zero nic and i am loving it , I DIY my own juice and build my own coils rather than stock coils etc.

My plan was to give up smoking by vaping then slowly cut my nic and vape zero for a while then give up vaping , mission completed .

Although I am on zero nick if I get stressed I just grab for my vape and a few mins later I feel good, maybe its just a mental thing and long time habit ,I have since decided to vape for as long as needed rather than stop vaping in a few months and fall off the wagon and start smoking again .

I enjoy my total vape experience from diy juice to coil builds and everything else.

Last year i would prob agree and have said " why bother with zero nic " but then that being me would have just been an excuse because i was still on the nic.

I just feel such a buzz now that life long habit is broke and i got that monkey off my back, dont knock it until you get there, we all make excuses for our bad habits.
