Hey folks,

I'm a social smoker, that primarily has a cigarette while drinking. I hate the smoke though and hate that I could be damaging my lungs, so I'd like to turn to e-cigs. I'm looking for one that's about the same size as a cigarette, and since I don't want to accidentally create a new addiction, I'm looking for one that doesn't have any nicotine in it. I also want one that's all natural (or at least states what the ingredients are and they are ones that are not known to be harmful).

Blu seemed good because of the safe ingredients and the size, but I don't think they have any zero-nicotine ones (plus I know they don't have the best rep around here).

Does what I'm looking for exist?

Most definitely. I suggest going for a better quality e-cig than the blus though. At least get one that you can trade out your own juice with.

Search for a 510 automatic battery, and it should bring up cigarette-sized e-cigs. After that, all you'll need is a charger, some cartomizers and juice. Buying them separately can save you a lot of money, and allow for more customization, if that's what you're into. You'll also be able to save money using juice, instead of paying an absurd amount of money on pre-filled cartos from the store.

I suggest, finding a video on how to fill a cartomizer as well.

There's a little bit of a learning curve when it comes to this stuff, but afterwards, it's easy peazy. Good luck and have fun!

Welcome , but I would take a pass on the Blu's . There are several small , cigarette size alternatives out there . There are both 808 and 510 type connections . I would probably stay with the 510's as they are more readily available everywhere . You can look at some JoyTech 510 models or something similar . Alot of these come in kits with pre-filled carts , that have nicotine . That being said , you could skip using them , and get some blank cartos , and fill them yourself with some 0 nic. juice . Or you could just buy some VG and PG base with 0 nic. and add whatever flavors you like . A lot cheaper than buying juices . But there are also a lot of vendors selling 0 nic. juice as well , so the possibilites are endless . I'm not really up on the latest small devices , but I'm sure that there are members here that are , and can maybe give you some more detailed info . Good Luck .

The main ingredients of ejuice (0mg nic) are vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, and flavoring. Each of those is considered pretty safe on its own, but there are still ongoing studies as to what the effects of inhaling the vapor. Regardless, it is the consensus that they are much less harmful than analog cigarettes.

If you're really worried about the ingredients, you can get 100% VG and organic flavoring. VapeRite sells some really nice organic flavors.

I actually weaned myself down to 0mg nicotine and there are some things you need to be aware of.

The main one is that without nicotine, you won't get any real throat hit. You'll taste the flavors in the juice, but other than that you could just be breathing air. One way I've found to counteract that is to add menthol. The menthol hit is a good substitute for throat hit if you get it strong enough. I was a menthol smoker, so this was no problem for me. YMMV :)
