Just to clarify, he is talking about using a mech mod which is not gonna be at 6 volts. At most, negligent of voltage drop, it will be 4.2V which will produce 176.4 watts at 42A. For the 60A pulse rating of a MNKE 26650, one could go to .07 ohms and again, that doesn't factor in voltage drop...

I don't agree with this. I vape my ADV at between .15 and .19 on VTC5's every day. Don't ever have a problem and provides an outstanding vape. I do agree to educate yourself first but with the LiMn chemistry, you don't have to worry about batteries blowing up as much like the old ICR type batts...

That high of a resistance on a mech is pretty pointless. You're only gonna push about 8 watts. Might as well have a twistie

The one other problem would be that 30g is mighty thin. Even when I first started building, I used nothing smaller than 28g and that can still snap with one extra twist on the screw on an IGO-W. That heat rating would be more than likely across a specified surface area or volume. Not likely able...

I push between 90-120 watts on my daily vape setup (mech) and I love it. 100 watts isn't really all that much once you're in that range.

I love using my Stillare for dripping though because of the massive and adjustable airflow along with gold plated posts. My next dripper will probably be an IGO W6. I'm starting to look at some 26650 mods now too along with 28.5mm RDAs.

Yeah my wallet is the only thing holding me back from already having an arsenal lol. I'm gonna try and price out the cost of creating a completely silver plated mech one day.
