yeah probably, but I chose the swirl paint method because of my total lack of artistic ability. I found this project to be more about good prep and finishing practices then anything else. Go slow, be neat and you'll mitigate most problems. I will be happy to try and answer any questions for those attempting this.

I have been looking into doing some kind of chemical etching or maybe some copper or other metal plating. I really want to do a copper plated reo and use some patina solution to give it that aged look, then clear coat it to prevent further oxidation and to seal in that copper stank.

These require using dangerous chemicals and I have no knowledge as to the proper handling or where to acquire them as of yet. I don't plan on doing anything until the spring time, so I'll have ample time to research and source materials.
