VOOPOO DRAG S2 KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello and welcome back for another vape review, today's review is on the Drag S2 Kit which is the little brother to the Drag X2 Kit I reviewed a few day's ago. Both of these kits are almost identical but for a few differences, on this Drag S2 a 2500mAh internal battery is used instead of the replaceable 18650 battery used on the Drag X2 plus the maximum power output is 60watts instead of 80watts with the X2. This is a bit smaller in size as well, both use the new pod though with A different preinstalled coil for the X2, There is also a MTL version of this kit. The differences are very minor ones for the X2 and S2 and both kits could have been done in 1 review but the manufacturer Voopoo requested 2 reviews so I will oblige.

What are the differences between DRAG S2 and DRAG X2,

Both DRAG S2 and DRAG X2 apply VOOPOO PnP X Platform. The main differences between them are as follows:

Device:
DRAG S2 is the device with included 2500mAh battery and 5-60 W power output.
DRAG X2
is a pod mod with single external 18650 battery (not included in the package). The power range is from 5W to 80W.

Cartridge:
The standard cartridge for DRAG S2 DTL version is PnP X Cartridge DTL and the compatible coil resistance is 0.2ohm and 0.3ohm. The standard coils are PnP X 0.2ohm and PnP X 0.3ohm. It is recommended to choose the e-liquid with 50%-70% VG and whose nicotine content of no more than 35 mg. For the DRAG S2 MTL version (Only For Italy, France and Germany), the standard cartridge is PnP X Cartridge MTL with PnP X 510 DTL Drip Tip(Pre-installed) and PnP X 510 MTL Drip Tip(Replaceable) ( the wider one for DTL, the narrower and longer one for MTL and RDL) and the compatible resistance is 0.3ohm and 0.6ohm. The standard coils are PnP X 0.3ohm / PnP X 0.6ohm. It is recommended to choose the e-liquid with 50% VG and whose nicotine content of no more than 35 mg.

The standard cartridge for DRAG X2,
PnP X Cartridge DTL , is the only one for the global and its compatible coil resistance is 0.15ohm and 0.3ohm. The standard coils are PnP X 0.15ohm and PnP X 0.3ohm. It is recommended to choose the e-liquid with 50%-70% VG and whose nicotine content of no more than 10 mg.

► Lost Vape Centaurus Aio B60 & B80; First Impressions:
The regularly sold packages of these kits will include; two coils, a USB-C cable, two drip tips, a user manual and the UB AIO cartridge. A metal wrench to secure the tank is also included. Centaurus B80 has additional equipment which includes; the Centaurus Boro Tank rebuildable single coil, three different airflow pins and a 510 thread adapter for mods really useful during the coil building phase. Furthermore, B80 has a beautiful Drip Tip with a colored antimicrobial band. For this test I received the Centaurus B60 in the color "Spring Blast" and the Centaurus B80 in the color "Gush Green". Both devices have bright and trendy colors, looking at the other available colors I really like the versions with transparent shell. I immediately started handling these kits, and as usual all the great quality of Lost Vape immediately shines through, both kits are quite compact and are really solid thanks to the zinc alloy.

► Lost Vape Centaurus Aio B60 & B80; Replaceable Panels:
The side panels are fixed to the respective Mods via 4 small circular magnets which perform their task perfectly. What you can notice immediately after removing the side panels is that the Centaurus B80 is in full "Boro Mod" style, in fact it has the display, the USB-C socket and the adjustment buttons which remain inside and are hidden by the panel, the The B80's power button exposes the Centaurus logo and remains exposed thanks to a cutout in the side panel. Of course the B80 also differs in the presence of the replaceable 18650 cell, the battery polarity is very clearly marked inside the B80's battery compartment and there is a lanyard to facilitate removal. When you remove the B60's panels you can see a fancy engraved design and the USB-C socket for charging. Centaurus B60 has the display and adjustment keys located on the outside.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-9.jpg

Obviously B60 & B80 are compatible with AIO or Boron tanks which are arranged internally in the Mod; To provide for the coil's air needs there are 3 vents on the side of the mod and an additional 3 vents on the side panel.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-11.jpg

► Lost Vape Centaurus Aio B60 & B80; Display and operation guide:
The display of the B60 and B80 models is monochrome and is quite small (0.42 inches). The display shows the set wattage, the coil resistance and the Puffs counter. Centaurus B60 and Centaurus B80 operate in wattage mode and offer Smart or RBA functions. Five clicks will turn the mod on/off, pressing the button three times will change the mode. To lock the adjustment buttons, hold down the Fire and "+" buttons. To reset the puff counter, press and hold the fire and "–" buttons. The Quest chipset is proprietary to Lost Vape and incorporates all the main safety functions, however the operations that can be carried out are basic and there is no temperature control. This chipset works well and has achieved a high degree of reliability in its continuous development over the years.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-12.jpg

Centaurus B60 with its 1,600mAh internal battery offers decent autonomy, during the test I managed to get 233 puffs at a constant 35w, then I recharged the battery in 90 minutes. You can adjust the power of B60 and B80 starting from 5W up to maximum power in steps of 0.5W at a time. With Smart mode activated, the Quest chipset will identify the most suitable power for each coil, helping beginners. With RBA mode activated you can independently select the power to apply to your Build Coil.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-13.jpg

Centaurus B60 is slightly wider than Centaurus B80, however the footprint of the support base is well sized for both and guarantees stability in an upright position, even during charging. The zinc alloy structure has good heat dissipation and includes the lower cooling holes which also perform an important safety vent function for a possible and not very advisable battery failure. Lost Vape has thought of everything, excellent!

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-15.jpg

Centaurus B60 & B80 are compatible with AIO and Boro tanks, their arrangement takes place inside the Mods. Therefore using the metal key (present in the package) you can unscrew the steel seat of the Drip-Tip which is threaded, extract the Tank and replace it. When you insert the Tank or the Boro, you can fix them perfectly by simply screwing the threaded seat of the Drip-Tip onto the Mod.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-16.jpg

► 5ml UB AIO Pod:
B60 and B80 are supplied with the UB AIO Pod and two different Drip-Tips, the cartridge has a capacity of 5ml and is compatible with the UB Ultra Coils platform. The Centaurus B60 package includes two resistors; M6 Ultra Coil 0.3Ω (30-40W) and M7 Ultra Coil 0.2Ω (40-60W), Of course the M8 resistor 0.15Ω (60-80W) is also compatible but will only work on the Centaurus B80 which also includes the M7 Ultra Coil resistor of 0.2Ω (40-60W). The Ub ultra Coils are inserted from the bottom inside the UB Aio Pod, externally there is an adjustable metal ring to control the air flow from MTL to RDL/DTL according to your tastes. To fill the 5ml cartridge you can conveniently lift the classic rubber cap without having to remove the tank.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-18.jpg

► Centaurus Boro Tank:
A second tank is included with Centaurus B80 and it is the 5ml Centaurus Boro. Centaurus Boro Tank is also compatible with Centaurus B60 Mod but in this case the Boro must be purchased separately. Boro Tank is rebuildable Single Coil, the air control is delegated to 3 different Airpins; 1mm, 2mm and 3mm. The 3mm airpin is the one that is installed on the Boro Tank by default.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-19.jpg

In the image below you can see the bottom of the Centaurus Boro Tank with the airpin installed, next to it you can see how the refill system is identical to that of the UB Aio Pod. The second image concerns the exploded view of Centaurus Boro Tank with a huge quantity of spare gaskets, the equipment also includes a second additional chimney and also includes an MTL Drip-Tip which can be installed together with a sort of "fairing" which recalls the classic spout of classic Pods. As you can see, the Boro Tank can be largely dismantled for deep cleaning operations.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-21.jpg

The Boro Tank package includes a 510 adapter for the Deck and for its installation on a classic Mod, this is very useful for facilitating the coil construction phase.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-22.jpg

For the construction phase of the 3mm diameter coil I used flat Alien wire which adapted well to the deck, so to build your favorite coil you can independently use round or flat wire. My coil turned out to be 0.6Ω to be pushed to 18/20W. The screws to tighten the coil legs are small and flat, probably a set of Allen screws would have been better for my poor eyesight. The pockets for the cotton are not very large, so you will want to thin out the cotton whiskers well before inserting them into their respective slots. Centaurus Boro tank is just like the original AIO tank and you can lock it to the mod via the Drip-Tip base which is threaded.

Lost-Vape-Centaurus-B60-AIO-Centaurus-B80-AIO-Boro-Tank-23.jpg

► Lost Vape Centaurus Aio B60 & B80; Final conclusions:
It seems like people are returning with interest in Boro devices lately. Lost Vape is always very attentive to market requests and for this reason it has introduced Centaurus B60 and Centaurus B80 which are two really beautiful AIO devices, with a basic but tested and highly reliable chipset. Lost Vape has intelligently made the B60 & B80 compatible with the large range of Boro Tanks, to the delight of independent vapers who will not only be able to use Centaurus Boro on these Mods, but also on the numerous other Boro style Mods. The Centaurus Boro tank allows a good RDL extraction thanks to the 3mm pin, however you can use the 2mm and 1mm pins if you want to achieve an MTL type or restricted MTL type extraction.

The default installed 5ml UB AIO tank is dedicated to novice vapers and is compatible with Lost Vape's UB Ultra Coils platform. UB Ultra Coils offer top of the range performance, and also long life. All three UB Ultra Coils I received for testing are capable of generating large clouds and providing great flavor. With these Coils I have not encountered any leaks or condensation which generally forms on the internal surface of the panels in other Aio devices. I can only recommend Centaurus B60 & B80 because personally they have completely captured and convinced me!

• I would like to thank Lost Vape for providing me with the Centaurus Aio B60 & B80 for this review.

• Thanks for reading.

New User From Turkey: From Local Tobacco to E-Cig

Thank you for providing this forum service for those who use and consider using electronic cigarettes. I decided to become a member of this forum by examining many existing forums for electronic cigarettes. In addition to finding detailed answers to many questions about electronic cigarettes here, I benefited from the experiences of electronic cigarette users in this forum.

I have been smoking local tobacco like this[1] for about 18 years. This tobacco is the local tobacco of the country I live in. I smoke tobacco the old-fashioned way. In other words, I roll the unprocessed tobacco by hand and smoke it. When the demand for domestic tobacco increased as a result of the hikes in cigarettes in our country, tobacco producers reduced the quality of tobacco. In addition to this, when the sale of domestic tobacco without banderol was banned, tobacco producers started to sell the tobacco they produced to cigarette manufacturers. For this reason, quality tobacco could no longer be found. I cannot smoke cigarettes because I have been using local tobacco for a long time. The taste of packet cigarettes is very bad for me, and they do not satisfy me when I smoke them.

Although I like domestic tobacco, I had to turn to alternatives because I could not smoke quality tobacco. Imported tobaccos are too expensive, so I cannot buy them. My only option seems to be electronic cigarettes. As a result of the information I have obtained from your forum, I am very close to smoking electronic cigarettes.

Although the import and sale of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in the country where I live, they are somehow supplied. However, the very low exchange rate of my country's currency against the US dollar and Euro causes the prices of e-cigarette machines to be higher than in other countries. Therefore, I want the e-cigarette machine I will buy not to disappoint me.

In the light of the information I obtained, I deduced that I was looking for a machine like this:

- It should be big enough to carry in my pocket
- It should be light
- Must be resistant to drops (IP rating is a plus point)
- Must be used with external battery
- Parts such as coils and tanks should be easy to find (it is not easy to find every brand because they are smuggled into my country)
- The biggest feature is that I should be able to get the pleasure I would get from domestic tobacco

When I researched machines with these features, I created the following list:

1. Eleaf Istick Pico 2
2. Eleaf Istick Pico Plus
3. Eleaf Istick Pico LE
4. Innokin Coolfire Z80
5. Innokin Kroma R
6. Voopoo Argus XT
7. Voopoo Drag X2
8. Voopoo Drag H80S
9. Vaporesso Gen PT 80S

Devices 1, 2, 3, and 6 of the above list are available. The Voopoo Argus XT has many features I am looking for, but it is two times more expensive than Eleaf devices and a little too long to carry in my pocket. But there are many comments that it has better performance than Eleaf devices. In this case, the decision of which of these four devices I will buy is affected by the efficiency I will get from the coil and tank. When I read other titles in the forum, such as this [2] title, whether the taste and nicotine I will get from e-cigarettes will be sufficient varies from person to person. Nevertheless, I would like to benefit from your experiences, both about the devices I have chosen and about the transition from tobacco to electronic cigarettes. Do you think the efficiency I will get from the devices I choose will satisfy me? Or would I be in vain?

Thank you in advance for your comments.

A review of the new Drag S2

Here today we have the all new Drag S2 which accompanies the all new Drag X2 using the all new PNP-X coil and pods system. XCEEDING ALL EXPECTATIONS. The one i received is the beautiful Sky Blue color and i gotta say compared to the X2 i actually like this one (S2) better than its big brother even though it only goes up to 60W and not 80W like the X2. The other differences are that this one has a built in 2500mAh and the ability to change the drip tip from a DTL tip to an MTL tip which is noticably absent on the X2. It uses the exact same coils and pods which means each coil is good for up to 100ML of juice although i only got 80ML but im taking in to account the fact that i chain vape and go thru batteries like water. Another thing worth noting is that the X2 gets hot when charging the device with the battery in it instead of taking the battery out to put on a charger. With that in mind i do prefer the S2. Below are the Specs of the all new S2

**DRAG S2**

DTL Version

Device:

Color: Spray Black, Gray Metal, Colorful Silver, Pearl White, Modern Red, Sky Blue, Glow Pink

Material: Zinc Alloy + Leather

Battery Capacity: 2500 mAh Built-in Battery

Output Power: 5-60 W

Output Voltage: 3.2-4.2 V

Resistance Range: 0.1-3.0 Ω

Cartridge:

Cartridge Name: PnP X Cartridge DTL

Cartridge Capacity: 5.0 mL (Standard & US) / 2.0 mL (TPD)

Recommended E-liquid: 50-70% VG, Nicotine≤35 mg

Resistance: 0.2 Ω / 0.3 Ω

Standard Coils: PnP X 0.2 Ω / PnP X 0.3 Ω

*OVERALL VERDICT/SUMMARY**

I personally prefer the S2 as its a better quality mod IMO and it has better hand feel. Another thing i like is to get the clouds of a sub ohm tank you can go with the .3ohm coil at about 38W and it'll rival the Z tank with ease in the cloud department. I also like the fact theres no batteries to change. Which means no chance it'll get hotter and possibly combust as the S2 stays cool while being charged.

Looking for cartomizers

Hi folks,
I'm searching for boge or smoktek cartomizers. Yes I know these are old school and out dated.
All stores that even list them are all out of stock. I hope that some here may know where to find them.

Recommended percentages of flavoring A&L

I am a huge fan of A&L aromas. I have about 6 different flavors from them.
There is a percentage of flavoring noted on each of these aromas for which to mix with.
For some of them this is 5% but for others it's 10-12%.

I have an Aegis legend 2 kit with a cerberus tank, Geekvape Z coils (0.2ohm) and I vape at 75W.
My DIY setup is 2 bottles of nicotine 50-50 (20mg/ml) 1 freebase and 1 nic-salt with a base of 20pg/80vg.
This makes my total PG/VG ratio around 34PG/64VG depending on how much aroma I use.

Most of the mixes are really good and have a lot of flavor, but others just taste dull.
It's weird because I use the recommended dosage every time and let them steep for about a week.

Anyone know if there is a reason this could happen? Should I try adding more aroma to the ones that taste dull?
Also, I do the percentage based off the total mixture, so 100ml juice = 10ml aroma (for 10%).

Bench Test Results: Sinowatt 35HP - 10A 3350mAh 18650

These tests below only note my personal opinion for the ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This can be one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. Never use them outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.

Test Results
Important note…in spite of the “35” in the model number this is a 3350mAh (typical) rated cell.

I’m always interested in finding good performing ultra-high capacity cells but unfortunately this isn’t one of them. While this cell could be a decent choice for very cost-sensitive applications it can’t compete with the other great performing (longer running) cells that are available. Even the 2600mAh Molicel P26A runs for longer at 5A and 10A due to the P26A’s lower internal resistance.

There was a LOT of voltage sag at this cell’s 10A rating so I recommend staying down near 5A or lower.

The two cells I tested delivered 3378mAh and 3412mAh. This isn’t very good consistency but it does meet the cell’s minimum/typical spec of 3250mAh/3350mAh.

Solana - La Fabrique à Biscuits – Café

Solana - La Fabrique à Biscuits - Café
Place of origin: France
Packaging: 10ml aroma
Recommended dosage: 10-15%
According to the Solana manufacturer's description, "A pleasant sensation of a delicious crumbly biscuit dipped in strong coffee" can be expected 4-5 days after mixing the flavouring. The manufacturer has a range of flavours in all categories, having been producing premium quality e-liquids in France for 10 years. They offer affordable prices and a wide range of flavours.
The base flavour will be coffee, which gets a biscuity aftertaste after exhalation. The coffee isn't very strong, although that's not what the description claims, it's more of a weaker latte, which is fine by me. It's soft and creamy, just like I drink in the morning. On exhale, you get a sweet biscuit flavour, which makes me feel as if the top has been sprinkled with seeds, giving the steam a sort of nutty kick. The sweetening is perfectly ok, about a four on a scale of one to ten, which makes it edible all day. Overall, it matches the manufacturer's description except for the "strong", but obviously that could be a function of setup and blending ratio. It is also recommended for atomizer tanks as there is no discolouration or coke on the coil after steaming 20ml of soup, which is a very positive aspect in this coffee category. You can find the product on kumulusvape.fr in both 10ml flavour and longfill.

A lithium battery pretending to not be a battery?

So I ran across this video of a disposable that has a “capacitor” instead of a battery and thus in theory doesn’t have the disposal problems of lithium batteries… except it apparently does. The reason people worry about lithium containing devices such as batteries is lithium burns energetically on contact with air and produces a lot of gas which can cause an explosion. Anything with a significant amount of lithium in it is potentially an antipersonel mine (yes, this includes your wireless earbuds) The time to explosion is of unknown duration. It’s usually quite long. A hundred years or more, but not always, and landfills don’t go away so they all will eventually go boom if not properly recycled. Normal capacitors are generally metal plates or carbon so they don’t have this problem and are regulated differently. This “capacitor” though doesn’t. It’s more or less a battery that is merely masquerading as a cpacitor to avoid regulation. Strikes me as potentially hellishly dangerous. If not to the user then someone else later after it becomes garbage. They won’t all do it of course. As a lithium battery is discharged it becomes lithium carbonate, which isn’t explosive. The thing is though that lithium batteries STOP DISHARGING before they are completely empty, so an old and degrading lithium battery will still have some metallic lithium in it. It really perplexes me why one might do that. Lithium is expensive but alkali is cheap. The company could have simply put in an alkaline battery and there would be no problem.

Oxbar Magic Maze Pro Review By Ben28

Magic Maze Pro
11.png
Today I bring you a new device, in this case it is a disposable from Oxbar, the most recent to date according to what I have learned. It has adjustable wattage and they claim to be the first in the world to do so. In addition to the wattage, the air intake is also adjustable to acquire an MTL or RDL vape according to taste. Let's get to work giving way to the photos provided by the brand so you can see more or less what we will talk about.

First of all, thank Lina from Oxbar for sending me a giftbox for reviewers that included;
5* Magic Maze Pro Disposables
1* Stickers Page
2* Pamphlets
1* T-Shirt
1* Chain

Anyway, anyone who sees this review and wants to buy the product will only receive the product and not the giftbox, I think it was too obvious but I prefer to comment on it anyway.
Disclaimer; Nobody nor any brand is paying me to do this review, all you will see are my most sincere opinions, both the positive and the negative.

They currently have 15 flavours due to a collaboration with the Pod Juice brand, you can see all of them on the pic above.

I will leave you the main features and specs below in some tables so that everything is clearer.

Packaging And First Impressions
IMG_9210.JPG

These are all the disposables that Oxbar sent me, exactly 5 of their 15 available flavors.

On the back we see one of the pamphlets and the sticker page, I think it would be good to be the background of this review.

The flavors in question are;

1*Rainbow Blast
1*Strawberry Watermelon
1*Watermelon Remix Ice
1*Strawberry Kiwi Ice
1*Splash Bros Lemonade

I will focus on the Strawberry Kiwi to see the packaging of this product.

IMG_9211.JPG

On the front we see that it is full of information, they have not thrown anything away simply, but rather they have thrown the house out of the window which does not convince me too much. The color of the box matches that of the disposable and usually has to do with the flavor, for example, this one, which is strawberry and kiwi, is represented by the color red and green.

Above we find OXBAR in large and the name of the product, in addition, it tells us that it has 10,000 puffs, a free lanyard, adjustable airflow and wattage and an indicator. At the bottom we find the nicotine warning since it contains 50mg.

IMG_9212.JPG

On one side of the box we find something more of the same, it tells us that it uses nic salts, which has an indicator of liquid, wattage and remaining battery and below the flavor along with the amount of nicotine.

IMG_9213.JPG

On the other hand, it tells us that it is rechargeable using a Type-C cable.

IMG_9214.JPG

Sale is only allowed in the USA, we also have a list of ingredients below and certain ways to contact OXBAR.

IMG_9215.JPG

If we open the package we find first of all the free lanyard, which is the same for each and every one of the disposables. Just below comes the disposable in a sealed bag which we must obviously open if we want to use it.

The packaging that OXBAR has provided, in my opinion, I think is a bit too loaded, I would have opted for something simpler although I understand that what a brand wants is for its product to draw the public's attention.

Device Inspection

IMG_9216.JPG
The first thing I have to highlight before anything else is that the device comes with a plastic mouthpiece that we must remove and a sticker on the bottom that we must also remove before using it.

On the front of the product we see the OXBAR brand throughout the center along with the flavor in question, in this case Strawberry Kiwi Ice. Below we find Magic Maze written and in the lower right corner the indicator screen that I will talk about in more detail now.

NEW Flavorah Flavors Reviewed by SessionDrummer

Thanks out to @Bryson over at Flavorah for sending out this new pack for review. They all smelled pretty good in the bottles, and I'm anxious to try them. Rather than try and nit-pick each individual flavor for strength (at this point), I decided on a flat 1.0% mix rate for my initial tests. All will be steeped for a least a week, preferably at least 1.5 weeks, but we'll see how the queue empties.

ALL testing will be done at 1.0% (unless otherwise noted), and will be tested in a 70v/30p/3mg carrier, on my trusty SteamCrave RDTA v.1, running dual 24 ga. Kanthal vertical coils, and Koh Gen Do cotton. Fresh coils installed before the start of the series, and dry burned with fresh cotton before every test. All testing done at 65 watts. The flavors are now steeping......

Thanks again out to Bryson for sending these out for this review, and Respect out to most respected Flavorah mixologist @SmokyBlue.

And, as always, ANY discussion about Flavorah flavors would NOT be complete, without respect to the FLV Expert @SmokyBlue.

**Apple Raz (Flavorah) 1% (10-24-23)** -- FIRST ONE on deck, from the NEW series from Flavorah. This one really popped for me, and at only 1%. It was similar to a Blue Raz, combined with Red Delicious Apples. Tasty, peppy, and it had a nice "Pop" to it, with an almost fizzy quality. The apple profile was very well done, and tasted very natural, and while very "crisp" it lacked some of the tartness of a Granny Smith, leading me to my Red Delicious classification. This didn't mean it was lacking tartness as the Raspberry (aka Razz) was a Blue Raspberry style "razz" and it brought with it, a good helping of tartness. This was smartly done, as possibly pairing a overly tart green apple with the razz might have been a touch TOO much tarty. It was an interesting and tasty pairing with just enough smooth AND tart to keep it interesting, without too much of either. The pairing of the Apples and Razz was also done very well, and they were about perfectly even, which added to the complexity, AND, would allow for even MORE uses. At 1% it was very good, but it felt like it might just benefit from a push to 1.25-1.5%. No off-notes, and sweetness was a few ticks below mid-level. Coming from the "not fruit" guy, this one was a keeper. A very smartly done pairing of a Red Delicious Apple, and a Blue Razz(berry). Just enough of each, without too much of either. With no nit-picks, and a fairly unique pairing/profile going to leave this one high at **9.5/10**.

**Crispy Donut (Flavorah) 1% (10-26-23)**
-- I'll try to keep this short, but I have to at least mention the fact that I am VERY picky about what I call a donut, and even PICKIER about what I call a "Great Donut". Most times they're just variations of a cakey bakery, sometimes with saturating greasy notes, and other times barely ANY donut, and mostly frosting. Enter Flavorah's Crispy Donut. Now I never really got what the "crispy" was supposed to be, but I GOT the Donut, and I liked it. No Playdoh like I always got from Capella's, and no off-notes, after three testers. What was unique for me about this, was that there was a VERY good, and pretty unique pairing of a light bakery, with some yeast, and just a touch of deep fried. The combination, AND ratios were what was important to my tastes. Just enough of all, but not too much of any one of them.

I've had almost straight up greasy donuts before, which were overbearing. Many have cinnamon-ish elements, which while fine, but many times, you just want a neutral, cinnamon-less donut, that's accurate. This one might just be the MOST accurate one I've had yet. I did catch some slight glazed notes, but never full on glazed, which honestly, just allowed the kick ... DONUT to come through even better. At 1% it was damned good, and although not lacking, it was SOO tasty, I did want to crank it up to 1.5-1.75 JUST to see what happened. That'll be later, as I've got a lot to get through. All in, this was a VERY good, cinnmon-LESS, donut which combined bakery elements, some light yeast, and just enough fried, all in ONE package. It wasn't perfect, but DAMN it was close for me. **9.9/10**. Big Bottle Approved.

**PB Cream (Flavorah) 1% (10-28-23)** -- This one actually took some time to figure out, or better, to figure out how to EXPLAIN it. This was not your regular Creamy Peanut Butter, and that's what I had expected. It was actually rather complex, and it had an almost earthy overtone, that at first I thought might have been a take-off, but the more I ran through the testers, it seemed like it was part of a natural crunchy peanut on TOP of a creamy PB. Yes, yes, I know, and it was hard to nail down. Creamy, somewhat sweet, and def. portrayed a natural PB, BUT, there was that "note", and it was really like you crushed up some fresh roasted peanuts, and threw them on the top. Crunchy was my main take-away on the overtone, and creamy and smooth were my take-aways on the body and undertones. Sweetness was a few ticks below mid-level, and it was actually pretty full at 1%, with maybe some wiggle room (higher or lower). It's because I could taste both the creamy PB and the crunchy nuts that I pushed it into the "complex" category. I'll be very curious to hear other thoughts on this one, and it was a keeper, and a very unique one at that, as I can't think of another PB that was like it. In total, a very good creamy PB, with freshly crushed peanuts on the top. I prefer chunky PB, so it was hard to not like this one. Easily a **9.3/10**.

**Rock & Road (Flavorah) 1% (10-29-23)** -- I suspect this one was named to avoid any issues with the "Rocky Road Ice Cream" ?? Who knows, but it was either going to be the candy, OR, the Ice Cream. It turns out there is/was quite a controversy about exactly who, and when the OG Rocky Road Candy was invented. Assuming this is/was the "Ice cream" version, there are many types, but all have at least Chocolate Ice Cream, and Marshmallows. This one had them, and they were delicious !!!!! The chocolate ice cream, IMHO, was one of the best out there, and it just tasted about as close as I've tasted yet. Not a vanilla Ice cream with chocolate topping, but a choco ice cream. Smooth, creamy, and you guessed it, chocolate-y. I'm not sure how Flavorah did it, but I could pick out actual marshmallow notes, which surprisingly weren't buried by the choco notes. Now the rest stayed a bit fuzzy. Were there walnuts, maybe even a light coconut ?? Very hard to tell. At times I almost thought I got both, BUT, (and if so), they were so far down in the mix, it was hard to really tell.

With THAT little mystery still outstanding, I can tell you as a whole, it worked, and it worked well, and it was obvious that a lot of time went into this one. IRL I can't say that I've ever eaten RRIC, but this almost makes me want to. Plenty strong at 1%, and it could easily survive up to 1.5% if not a bit more, but it was plenty full at this testing weight. Sweetness was about mid-level, which was fine for a desert flavor. No off-notes, and no nit-picks to be found. If you like RRIC, I think you should pick this up. Deliciously placing this choco gem high @ **9.7/10**.

**RWB Popsicle Blast (Flavorah) 1% (10-29-23)** -- Ok, ok, Fidalgo has let the cat out of the bag on this one (meow), and you probably know by now, this was SPOT ON. I'm going to call it by it's rightful name, and that is a RocketPop, as that's what we grew up with. If you've ever had one, and loved it, then you NEED TO get this flavor. It is, as Fidalgo put it, "i was Amazed how spot on this was.", as spot on, as you could get. I'm only barely into the first tester, and I can already tell. The Cherry, Lime (with a hint of Lemon), and Blue Raspberry are exactly as how they taste IN the rocket pop. Sweetness was a few ticks above mid level, and there (hehe) were NO off-notes. I won't drag this review on, but they ONLY things you are missing with THIS flavor, are the "Sticks" and the "Drips". Hats off to the Flavorah team on this one, and YES, I'm releasing the Kraken !!!!!! **10/10**. NO other scoring is appropriate here.

**Saturn Peach (Flavorah) 1% (10-29-23)** -- Saturn Peach, Donut Peach, Flat Peach ??. YES, that's right. Some flavors take some time to break in before you can evaluate them, but NOT this one. It was a winner from the first taste. To agree with Fidalgo, I could see EVERY peach lover picking this one up, AND in a BIG bottle. Where to begin. This Peach was a new one for me, and I don't think I have any other Peaches like it on my racks. At first I thought it was like a Honey Peach, but that was not close enough. It was like a peach, that was devoid of the darker red and orange notes, and just the brighter white, and light yellow notes. It had an almost Honey-like quality to it, almost like a syrup, but not quite fully there. It seemed to have far less of an acidic punch than a normal yellow peach, but in exchange for that, it had a almost silky sweetness from beginning to end.

Now, it was NOT a white peach, just for clarification, and there was NO dryness, or any off-notes for that matter. As I grew increasingly mesmerized by how damned good it was, I struggled to think of a peach recipe where this one would NOT work. I'll get back to you on that. Because it was devoid of most of the lower (red/orange/darker yellow) notes, it wasn't a full spectrum peach, like you would expect with a typical yellow, and I didn't pick up on any of the more typical "apricot" undertones. At 1% it was flat out great, but I may push it up 0.50% just to see what happens. As it stood, it was a brighter, lighter peach (but not light on flavor), that exuded an almost velvety smooth, syrupy sweetness, but without being overly sweet, or cloying.

With ALL of the flavors I have tested, I can only think of a very small handful wherein I have had back to back 10/10's, but I think it just happened again. Realizing I just "Released the Kraken" on the last flavor, I guess we'll have to "Leave the Kraken OUT" for this one as well. **10/10**.

**Snow Cream (Flavorah) 1% (10-31-23)**
-- OK, after TWO 10/10's, something had to give, right ? Well it did. Errrr, kinda. You guys decide. I spent a little extra time with this one as it was a little mysterious. Why ?? Well here is how it's billed from the MFG....

> You might not know what this flavor is but it is one you will be thankful for. A blend of vanilla, sweetened condensed milk, and no butyric off-notes. This will be an incredibly versatile/flexible flavor to add to your arsenal that is between an ice cream and a sweet cream style profile.

OK, sounds good, BUT, at even 1%, I WAS getting some BA notes (Butyric Acid). A quick check of the SDS revealed, guess what ?? BA !!!! Now, I'm not BA sensitive, BUT some people are, and I'm reporting it, as I find it. The BA was present even at 1%, but not in high quantities, and FLV did a good job of trying to mask it with the Vanilla profile. It presented as a fairly dense/rich cream, but with a lighter cream, like a whipped cream, on the top. There was a consistent Vanilla undertone throughout, that was fairly light, but present. Both the BA notes, and Vanilla notes were light, leaving plenty of uses for this one, and the two aforementioned notes could easily be concealed if needed. Because the underlying cream was fairly rich, it DID have an accompanying thick mouthfeel. Creamy, fairly rich, and thick with a light Vanilla note, AND, some BA. Sweetness was a few ticks below mid-level, and my biggest (and only) nit-pick would BE, the BA notes. Your personal level of BS sens. will dictate more than my words will. I never really got any Condensed Milk, but the "Two Creams for the price of one" stayed consistent throughout my tests. All in, a very creamy rich "two-fer" with a denser rich cream base, and a lighter, almost whipped cream on top, spritzed with a light Vanilla. I'll have to kick this down a bit, mostly for the whole BA thing, and leaving it solidly at a **7.1/10**.

**Sweet Crunch (Flavorah) 1% (11-1-23)** -- The moment I started testing this one, it reminded me of OSDIY Lucky Shot. Now not because they were close, because they actually weren't, but a very similar concept. A little bit of this, that, and the other thing, all summed up, into a HELL of a flavor profile !!!! Yes, it was good. I think Flavorah billed it as Cereal Flakes, Brown Sugar, and Meringue, and that's EXACTLY what I got. The cereal flakes were QUITE interesting, as they were NOT "corn flakes" but had a lot of similarities TO them, but without the "corny" push. They actually had some nice crunch, and almost grain to them. The brown sugar seemed to be a bit lower in the mix, and added a light sweetness, and some darker notes TO the cereal flakes. The meringue was a perfect accent and seemed to help carry the other two profiles together. It started with more of the cereal flakes, with the brown sugar undertones, and finished with more of the meringue. Quite a tasty, and interesting pairing. To re-state, the cereal flakes were somewhat like corn flakes, but not completely, and there were no overt corn, or AP notes, but it clearly WAS (or were) cereal flakes.

The uses for this, will span far beyond the obvious of cereals, but also bakeries, and even more. You COULD call this a blend, and because of that, it's uses will be far greater than a simple cereal flake flavor. I couldn't even guess the exact ratios between the three profiles, but they were smartly done, and I got no off-notes from it. With the brown sugar being lower in the mix, sweetness was a bit below mid-level, and 3 testers in, I could find no off-notes to complain about. A very unique, cereal flake, brown sugar, and meringue pairing, that will probably get a lot of mileage. Leaving it at a high **9.5/10.**

**Tart Blast (Flavorah) 1% (11-5-23)**
-- Out of the gate, this one was Lemons, and it stayed that way to the end of the testers. Gave it some extra time, as I wanted to make sure to get it right. Now, this one could, and would boost up fruits, but going too high, would inject Lemons. NOW, this was NOT a typical Lemon flavor, as it seemed to have a lot of the very bright higher notes, and when finger testing, had an almost lemon oil, fresh from the rhind. I got a fairly even 50/50 natural/artificial split, with the artificial notes being somewhat "Lemonhead"-ish. It is, and was billed as an enhancer, which is accurate, and testing it AS a solo can't fully flush out it's effect(s) in mixes. Sweetness was a few ticks below mid-level, and no off-notes could be found. Although Flavorah stated it would boost "fizzyness" that is unclear, but boosting fruits, especially citruses, would be 100% guaranteed. All in, an interesting "enhancer" that solo'd, was a 50/50 mix of natural and artificial lemon top/bright notes, with a genuine lemon/citrus oil undertone. Judging this solely as an "enhancer" I would rate it higher, with the only take-off being the no "fizzy enhancements", BUT, again, this was tested solo. Leaving it at a **9.1/10**.

**Torrone (Flavorah) 1% (11-11-23)** -- Closing out this series of NEW Flavorah flavors with the Torrone. Many of the other torrones I've tested, were fairly dark and bitter, and this one, while fairly clear in the bottle did have some bitter overtones when smelling it. The great news was, it didn't present that way. It had a very nice, but somewhat light nougat main note, which was tempered by a very nice almond note, with a light cherry overtone. Very nice. Flavorah described this one as not bullying flavors in mixes, and that would seem to be accurate, given that it was somewhat relaxed at my 1% testing weight. Not thin, or light, but relaxed. I know some T's have lemon accents, and I didn't pick up on any here. That was perfectly ok because the almond/cherry combo, DID work here. Tasty, nougat-y, and would appear to NOT run ripshod over mixes. No off-notes, including no bitterness, and sweetness was actually a few ticks below mid-level. All in, an impressive Torrone, that was slightly relaxed, but with some very nice almond, and cherry notes. Closing out the series with this one, and leaving it fairly high due to it's accuracy, and lack of heavy handed-ness. **9.0/10**.
