White Chocolate Brownie With Pistachio

In smell we notice the brownie base, very endowed with a very powerful cocoa or chocolate and also subtly notice the white chocolate. However, the pistachio, I do not get to perceive. Maybe it's my fault, I do not know what happens with the nuts that I do not usually get to notice them in these liquids. From the first moment, we can say that this liquid is going to be quite sweet and powerful.
When vaping it, everything goes as it should. We notice a very strong and sweet flavor, perfect for those who are lovers of dessert liquids, as I am. I still do not notice the pistachio, I do not perceive neither smell nor taste it. However, I can say that it is a quite successful liquid and really tastes what it promises.
Something to add, although it is usually usual in this type of liquid, is the speed with which the cotton gets dirty. More or less, vaping it in single coil at 35W, I can say that I have to change the cotton approximately every two days, which does not seem too crazy to me, but I have had liquids that have lasted longer. Still, with the flavor it offers, I think it is totally worth it.

Hello and welcome back. Today I will be taking a look at the Hellvape Dead Rabbit MTL 2 RTA that was sent to me by Hellvape in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The V2 is an upgraded version of the original Dead Rabbit MTL RTA that I previously reviewed and very much liked. The V2 has an improved postless deck for single coil and can be run in a 2ml or 4ml configuration. It makes use of a ¼ turn lock on the bottom of the rta so it can be disassembled with ease and seal without leakage. The airflow can be fine-tuned with one of the multiple included airflow pins included.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:
The packaging for the DR MTL 2 is very familiar with the red and black box. The front has the Hellvape name and logo along with the product name. There is a sticker indicating the color of the tank contained inside the box. The back side of the box has a list of features, contents list, and company information.
Once the outer sleeve is removed and the two part box is opened, the contents of the package can be seen. As is the case with most of the Hellvape tanks that I have tested, there are a lot of accessories included with the MTL 2. Initially what can be seen in the foam insert is the MTL 2 RTA with the 2ml chamber and glass pre-installed. There is also a 4ml longer chamber and glass section included. The tank comes with the 1.2mm airflow pin pre-installed but there are a total of six pins included. The pins included are .8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, and 2.0mm. Also in the top foam insert is a spare delrin drip tip. Underneath the foam insert is the user manual, a single .7 ohm NI80 coil with a single cotton thread, a Philips screwdriver, and spare o rings and seals.
As I do with any tank, the first thing is always to disassemble the tank for cleaning. Hellvape was nice enough to send two samples. I received both gold and blue versions. I had a little trouble initially when I tried to remove the build deck from the base. However, after taking a look at the user manual, I saw that I needed to align the two dots on the deck and base then simply pull the build deck out. I have had trouble removing the deck with other tanks with this type of design but with the MTL 2, I had no trouble removing the deck. Honestly this is not my favorite design but it worked well on this tank.
In the first picture below you can see the two dots that must be aligned to remove the deck. Also you can see in this picture that there is the airflow as you would expect but also this tank has a juice flow control that works in conjunction with the airflow control. Therefore if you close the airflow some, it will also allow less liquid to the coil. However, the main airflow is controlled by the airflow pin but there is a little adjustment available by turning the tank while it is on a mod.
For review purpose, I decided to build one of the tanks with the 2ml chamber and one with the 4ml chamber and glass. I did use the included coil with each tank initially. When I went to install the coil in each, I discovered that one coil was 2mm and one was 2.5mm which I thought was odd. The included cotton thread was a little loose going into the 2.5mm coil but wanted to test them initially with the included parts. I found that the one that was loose was very loud and doing a small amount of spitting. One nice thing about this tank is that you can remove the deck without any leaking so I pulled the wick on that one and used my own wick material which made the vape much smoother.
The build deck is postless and has two large Philips head screws which makes use of the included screwdriver. I like the design on this deck since between the large screw heads and the design of the deck it is very easy to trap the coil legs. It is also easy to trim the legs on this one. There are three holes on either side of the coil. The wick holes are fairly large and there is really no need to comb out the wick tails in my opinion.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
I enjoyed testing the Hellvape Dead Rabbit MTL 2 RTA. In my opinion, Hellvape makes some really good tanks at a fair price. The threading on the top cap was smooth and easily removed for filling. There are two fairly large holes which makes filling quick and easy.
It is nice that there is a spare delrin drip tip included and I assume that the idea behind that is to use the shorter delrin tip with the tank in the 4ml set up but I really like the longer tips and used them the entire time on both tanks.
My initial thought with MTL tanks that make use of different sized airflow pins is to use the largest pin available. Because of that I started with both tanks using the 2.0mm pins but quickly found that to be too loose of an airflow despite liking a loose MTL. I switched both out to the 1.5mm pins and found that much better to my liking. I went with the same NET tobacco mix in both and got good flavor and vapor production from them. I felt like the flavor from the tank with the 2ml chamber was slightly improved over the 4ml chamber. After running the included coils for a week or so, I wound my own 2.5mm coil from a simple round wire 316SS and really liked this even better than the included coils. The coil seemed to fire quicker and took less time to heat the liquid.
I had mentioned earlier that there is a liquid flow control built into the tank and I would think that it would be good to close the liquid flow control when filling but I consistently filled the tanks without closing the control and didn’t notice any issues.

This is the second RTA I've tried and in this case it is the Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 Version 2024. Something that has changed and that is interesting to know is the air intake, betting again by honeycomb air holes. On the other hand, something that is not very special as such but worth mentioning is that they have released crystals of different colors for the tank, being included in these colors yellow, blue and rainbow.

In this case, it does not match at all with the color we have chosen, so there is no individual packaging for each color. On the other hand, the chosen color is indicated, which in this case is gold.

From this general picture we will discuss the aspects of the atomizer. To begin with, to clarify the appearance of the tanks and the different glasses. On the one hand, we have the flat glass, capable of storing 3mL of liquid. On the other hand, the bubble glass, somewhat more bulky but capable of storing 5.5mL. Here the decision is up to each one, personally I like it flatter, as it does not make it look so rough, but each one is free to decide.
On the other hand, we could talk about the air intake, this atomizer is very airy. If what we are looking for is a DL puff with a lot of air intake is the perfect RTA. However, the adjustment makes it quite versatile. I do not say it is very good for MTL, but we can get a DL something more restricted or a RDL. To do this we simply have to move the airflow adjustment ring and the small holes will close two by two. This air inlet is dual, that is, it exists on both sides and is composed of 16 holes each.
Let's talk now about the drip tips. This particular atomizer comes with two included. The one that comes from the factory is the gold one and we have the option to put the black one. I don't know specifically what materials they are made of but they are of high quality. From my opinion I prefer the black, as it is slightly higher and is further away from the hot zone of the atomizer.
On the other hand, we could talk about the air intake, this atomizer is very airy. If what we are looking for is a DL puff with a lot of air intake is the perfect RTA. However, the adjustment makes it quite versatile. I do not say it is very good for MTL, but we can get a DL something more restricted or a RDL. After having the cotton ready we will wet it, fill the tank and vape.
Vaping Time
Let's move on to vaping time.
To begin with, let's talk about the build. It has stayed at 0.15Ω and I have been vaping it at 50W. Honestly something I love about this atomizer is the amount of air it is capable of putting in. It is very very airy and perfect for people looking for that. However, it's pretty obvious that it sins of MTL, it's not very suitable for it neither in airflow issue, nor drip tip, nor the shape of the bell.
As for the flavor I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The last RTA I tried already surprised me and this one is not far behind. It is very close to transmitting the same flavor as an RDA although it has a slightly stronger throat hit.
For the rest, say that you notice a quality atomizer, created with good materials and designed to last, plus its price is not too high. If you are willing to try an RTA this could be perfectly one that suits you. It is easy to use and assemble, gives a good flavor and is very adjustable.
