Hello and welcome back for another Voopoo review. This time I will be taking a look at the new Voopoo Vmate i2 which is being promoted as a “Looong Life Starter Pod”. It was sent to me by Voopoo in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The i2 has increased the battery capacity from 900mah of previous versions to a whopping 1500mah. Included in this starter kit is one Vmate pod which is rated for 90 day coil lifespan and 30 days of leak-free use. The 3X upgraded pod works with all Vmate pod family products. The i2 has a long light bar on the side to indicate battery level and is auto draw only with no buttons.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Vmate i2 shows a nice color picture of the actual device contained inside on the front along with some geometric designs in the background. Of course there is also the Voopoo and Vmate i2 names printed in large lettering near the top. There is also a large 3X badge in the center indicating that the pod included is one of the 3X upgraded pods. The back side of the box has the usual contents list and company information. Mine has a large sample sticker on the back which is only for review samples.

Once the box is opened, the i2 is found sitting in a white plastic tray with the .7 ohm pod pre-installed. Also included is the user guide, information card, and USB-C charging cable. There is only one pod included in this kit. I’m going to sound like a broken record here but I really don’t like it when there is only one pod included in a kit for obvious reasons like what if the included pod is defective.

The Vmate i2 contains a 1500mah internal battery which is a 67% increase over the previous Vmate Infinity Edition which contained a 900mah battery. As you can see in my pictures, I received the Forest Green version. The body of the i2 has what I call a chevron type design on the body to give it a really nice appearance. On one of the larger sides of the i2, the Vmate i2 name is etched on the body. The adjustable airflow control is also on this same side. The opposite side of the i2 has the Voopoo name etched on the body and it has the same chevron design on the body.

The i2 is an auto draw only device with no adjustable power settings but instead automatically adjusts the output according to the resistance of the pod used. The side of the VMATE i2 is equipped with a 256-color RGB light bar: fully lit at 75%-100%, 3/4 lit at 50%-75%, half lit at 25%-50%, and 1/4 lit below 25%. Honestly, I really don’t care for this type of battery level indicator. To me the light bar brings too much attention to the user and is a little difficult to tell exactly where the battery level is. I would much prefer a single indicator light with three different colored indicators like what is found on many pod devices.

The pod opening on the i2 has the two spring loaded plated contacts along with the raised airflow sensor for the auto draw. There are no magnets used on the i2 or the pods. Instead the pods are held in place by a mechanical connection and there is a definitive click sound when the pod is inserted into the opening. The battery capacity is printed inside the pod opening of the device on one side.

The charging port for the 1500mah battery is located on the bottom of the i2 and is surrounded by a ribbed rubber piece.

The included pod with the kit is one of the 3X upgraded Vmate pods. These pods can provide users with long-lasting pure taste, a 90-day coil lifespan and 30 days of leak-free use. And this 3X upgraded cartridge works with all VMATE POD Family products. These pods are clear enough to allow the user to see the liquid level pretty easily. They are a side fill and make use of a standard rubber fill plug. I do like that the resistance rating of the pod is stamped onto the rubber fill plug to allow the user to easily see which pod they are using.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Overall I have enjoyed testing the Voopoo Vmate i2 pod kit. I feel like they did a really nice job on the design appearance of the body of the i2. It’s a really nice size without being too heavy and has a really nice hand feel. The 1500mah battery is a very much appreciated upgrade and it felt like the battery lasted forever with the included .7 ohm pod. The i2 for some reason only has a 1A charging rate so you’re looking at about 1.5 hours to completely charge the battery. I personally don’t care for the rgb light bar both on how bright it is and also how in my opinion it is not as easy as it should be to tell the battery level for a beginner. One last thing that is a con for me is that the kit only comes with one pod. That being said, I did experience very good flavor and vapor production with the included .7 ohm pod and felt like it was a great match for the increased battery capacity of the i2 to keep the user up and running for a long time for such a small device.

I have decided to take a break from reviewing for them in order to have more time to devote to my personal life. ► Aspire Revolto 220W Kit; Introduction:
Aspire is a leading company aiming to regain its lead in the high-powered e-cigarette category. Its powerful Revolto kit is
quite massive, yet still offers a refined design and benefits from a high degree of finishing with high-quality machining. Made entirely of aluminum alloy, it feels quite light in the hand compared to what one might expect based on its size. The curves of the Revolto make it ergonomic in the hand and comfortable to use. The Revolto Mod works with two 18650 batteries (not included!), can fire up to 220W, and features a wide range of settings, including temperature control and power curves that will delight the most experienced vapers. For the more regular vapers, the ASP chipset offers the classic power adjustment modes in Watts and voltage in Volts. ► Aspire Revolto 220W Kit; Operating Guide:
The Revolto control panel includes the Fire button and the "+" and "-" adjustment buttons at the top. The metal-textured buttons are precise, do not wobble, are well-sized and are conveniently placed. The underlying 0.96" TFT color screen with adjustable brightness is easy to read and displays all the useful information for vaping such as; bar indicator (single) for the battery charge level, current mode selected, Watts, Volts, Amperes, Ohms, puffs counter. The Type-C charging port can be used for emergencies, personally I always prefer to recharge my batteries with the help of an external charger so as not to unnecessarily strain the chipset of my Mods. Revolto also includes the presence of a Slide button to speed up the on/off operations, this is very useful for quickly putting the Mod in your pocket without worries, the slide button holds its position well, impossible to slide it inadvertently.



• On/off; Move the On-Off cursor sideways (slide button)
• Lock/unlock the Mod; 3 clicks on the Fire button
• Lock/unlock the adjustment buttons; Press the "+" and "-" buttons together
• To enter the menu and change modes press the "+" button and the Fire button together

I have been on a strawberry kick lately and im liking the iced flavors more and more. Been wanting to order some new flavorings but never got around to it yet. But today, I went to one of my local vape shops to get an old favorite, strawberry milk. I had designs on icing it with the koolada i did recenly order. The shop hasn't had that one in a year so I ended up getting a bottle of Cuttwood Unicorn Milk. It's an older flavor but still around. I then added about 3% koolada to the bottle, not really knowing what to expect. It turned out just fine. I probably wont go any higher than 3% though. But the end result is my new favorite flavor haha. This stuff is quite nice. I'll eventually get me some fresh flavorings soon but this little experiment turned just perfect.

It's been just sitting in the Gear Stand for over 6 months now & prob not used more than 4-5 times in past couple years so figured time to move on down the road to someone that will use & appreciate it. This is the Anthracite (med. Grey) Alumide equipped with a DNA60 Chipset. Never had ANY issues or glitches & still operates flawlessly. Originally mated to a Taifun GT IV solely until sold it few months back then had a Squape A-rise on it. Always had a "Seal-Disc" between RTA & Mod (as advised by DPL) to prevent any liquid from seeping into the 510 so no probs there. DamnMod design, build, quality, & Rep well known to be top-notch as of course is the DNA60 & I definitely vouch for that fact. For detailed specs etc.; search for to find plenty on the Webz. This is 18650 powered & was always loaded with a mated/dedicated LG HG2 or Hohm-HohmLife Batt.
In great pre-Owned/Used condition (again NO issues operationally or performance-wise) & only Aesthetic blemishes are on the Base-Plate & 510 Deck surface as any would naturally expect (see Pics).

Are there any brands you avoid?

I think so far fruit flavours are my preferred option, I've been trying different brands and styles and getting some mixed results.
70:30 and 50:50 vg/pg are the types I usually smoke, and low nicotine level

I've recently started vaping to quit smoking, i'm 3 weeks without a cigarette going well, I put in an order on some e-liquids and I'm having a poor experience with some flavours/brands
The best ones I've tried are some Nic Salts particularly two brands "Wake n Vape" - strawberry, lemon lime flavours and "ELFLIQ" sour apple .
I've also tried some shortfills the "Slushum" Tropical flavour is really good.

The other shortfills LIQUA mentol and DIFFER - Super Suppai Series strawberry and raspberry have been particularly disappointing, could it be the nicotine shot i put in them thats giving the off flavour ?
One other Nic Shot 'Kinship" cola flavour was a major let down - but I only tried it on a new coil so I'll give that one a second chance before I give up on it .

Trying a LIQua nic shot - cookies flavor that's definately tastes like cookies but not a fan of the flavour but it doesn't taste bad just not my thing
