The Fuu brand is known as one of the best known French manufacturers in the vape world. The Fuug Life series offers a range of unique flavours and S'Croc is one of them. "A melting doughnut with an acidity that illuminates the sweetness of a green apple compote". Actually, it's the apple filling that struck me most about the flavour choice, as I've never tasted a doughnut like this before.
In terms of smell, the sour smell of green apple is immediately identifiable, as well as a fried dough that could indeed be called a doughnut. Neither of the scents is too intrusive, but you can sense that apple is going to be the main thread in the product.
I followed the 15% ratio with the first blend, but unfortunately on tasting it produced a rather weak flavour. Changing the numbers, upping the flavour to 20%, the finished liquid was satisfactory, as was confirmed by the subsequent tasting. So you can safely start with the 20% mix.
The green apple flavour is refreshing and lively, typically tart and sharp. It is nicely enhanced and refined to deliver the most authentic experience possible. I think this is very well done by the producer. I wouldn't call it a "compote" as it is fresh, lively and has just the right amount of acidity. The doughnut is most noticeable on the exhale, taking a bit of a back seat to ground the flavour as this is what gives the dessert vapour experience. It draws out a dusting of powdered sugar and fried goodness that lends a slight sweetness to the dough. That said, after steaming, there's more of a sour taste left in your mouth, making it hard to decide if it's an apple filled doughnut or apple chunks with doughnut crumbs, or an apple cake.
Overall: The fruit is delicious, the acidity of the green apple is nicely brought out, the dough brings the flavour of the doughnut, powdery, like it's been sprinkled with brown sugar. However, if I want to picture the finished cake itself in my mind, I don't really know where to put the ingredients that go with it, what this creation might look like in reality.

Hello everyone. I have been vaping for a little more than 10 years now, but I am currently having some issues.

I got tired of burning every coil I made so I decided to switch to tanks with ready to go coils like I used to. I bought the innokin 217 kit which has the ZF coils but my experience hasn’t been the best. It have noticed that when I use a new coil, everything is perfect for a few hours. Then the flavor becomes more harsh and for the next 2-3 days it’s barely “vapeable”. Since I can’t change coils every other day I was wondering what I should do next. Try another tank with better coils or just go back to rtas.

I want to mention that for the majority of my time vaping, I did only MTL. I wish I still had my Kayfun Plus… however for some reason, I can’t go back to MTL, it’s like my brain won’t accept it.

Hello and welcome back to yet another review. This time I will be taking a look at the Innokin Klypse Pro Kit that was sent to me by Innokin in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The Pro is the fourth Klypse version in the Klypse line of products. It has an increased battery capacity at 1000mah and with an output range of 6-25 watts, it is compatible with all available Klypse pod cartridges. Other improvements with the Pro include adjustable airflow, a hidden display screen, adjustable wattage, and a battery level indicator on the body. I’ll try to cover all of these features in more detail later in this review. I would like to mention that I very much liked the original Klypse with the magnetic dust cap and was glad to see that the Pro uses the same style of cap.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Klypse Pro isn’t the usual brown recyclable box that we’ve seen many times from Innokin. The Pro instead comes in a black box with the Innokin and Klypse Pro names on the front as well as a color picture of the actual device contained inside. The back of the box has a warning near the top followed by a contents list, company information, and a scratch away authenticity code.

Once opened, the Pro is found sitting in a black plastic tray with the magnetic cap installed. Underneath is where the user will find the accessories that include a second pod, USB-C charging cable, user manual, and a safety guide. Included in the kit are two of the Klypse pods which consist of a .6 ohm pod pre-installed and the spare pod being .8 ohm. Innokin was nice enough to include two Klypse Pro kits and some of the 1.2 ohm pods that can be purchased separately. As you can see in the second picture below, I received the black and silver versions.

The new upgraded Klypse pods claim longer coil lifespan, pure flavor, and three layer leak-proof structure. They are compatible with all of the Klypse models available. The three available pods have the following ratings.

Klypse Pro Cartridge 0.6ohm coil (optimal power output: 20-22W)

Klypse Pro Cartridge 0.8ohm coil (optimal power output: 12-13W)

Klypse Pro Cartridge 1.2ohm coil (optimal power output: 11-12W)

The pods have two strong magnets and two gold plated contacts on the bottom that hold the pods very securely into the Klypse body. The pods will not come out accidentally. As a matter of fact, the portion of the pod that sticks out of the body is very smooth and I sometimes had trouble removing the pod in order to fill it. There is also a minimum liquid level line on the side of the pod where it is not recommended to operate below that line. The shape of the mouthpiece is very comfortable to use.

The rubber plug that covers the fill port has an arrow on it to direct the user where to lift from to expose the fill hole which is a decent size to fit most bottles and the pod can be filled with little or no mess as the pods are tinted but not so dark as to not be able to see the liquid level inside.

The pod opening on the Pro has two strong magnets, two plated spring loaded contacts, and the slightly raised airflow sensor. To one side is the airflow opening that leads down to the adjustable airflow slider located on the flat side which is adjacent to the edge where the Klypse Pro name can be seen etched into the body. On the opposite side, the Innokin name can be seen etched on the body. The USB-C charging port for the 1000mah internal battery is located on the bottom of the device so you won’t be standing this one up to charge. Even if the port was located on the side, it probably wouldn’t stand up with the charging cord plugged in due to the Pro being made of lightweight aluminum. Despite the light weight of the Pro, it still has the feel of a quality made device. Just like the original Klypse, the Pro has a dust cap that clicks in place very securely to keep the mouthpiece of the pod clean and has a strong magnet on the top of the cap that can be attached magnetically to the bottom of the Pro while using the device. The magnet is very strong and will literally jump into place when it is brought close to the bottom of the Pro.

The Klypse Pro is a simplistic device so the operation follows suit and is easy for the operator to navigate while displaying the most basic information. At rest the display just shows the set wattage, battery level indicator, and the Innokin name. While taking a puff the length of time of the current puff is displayed. The Innokin name on the body is also a battery level indicator. It illuminates when a puff is taken and displays green when the battery is greater than 30% and red when it is below 30%.

The operation of the Klypse is very simple. Press the button on the same side as the display 3X to turn the device on/off. Press the button 2X and the display will flash and press it repeatedly or hold it to adjust the wattage. When holding it down to adjust, the wattage will go to the highest setting and round robin automatically.





FINAL THOUGHTS:

It’s easy to tell that the Klypse Pro is another quality made device from Innokin. The aluminum body is lightweight and sleek while being durable. The dust cap is probably about my favorite feature of the Pro and the original KLypse. I love how it magically falls into place with the strong magnet that connects it to the base of the Klypse.

I did like the easy operation of the Klypse and the ability to change the wattage and airflow on a pod are always welcome features. I did however have trouble on multiple occasions trying to remove the pod from the Klypse in order to fill the pod. I think this is because of two things. First off there isn’t that much of the pod exposed when it’s seated into the body. Second would be that the part that is exposes is very smooth which I had trouble gripping to remove due to the strength of the magnets.

I did try both the .6 and .8 ohm pods included in the Klypse Pro kit as well as the 1.2 ohm pods that are available for purchase separately. I found the .6 ohm pod to be a little too warm for me even with the airflow completely open after 4-5 consecutive puffs. The .8 ohm pod was better for me and didn’t heat up as much even while running it a little higher than the recommended wattage. The 1.2 ended up being by favorite out of the three. I like using a NET tobacco mix in higher resistance pods. Even with the airflow adjusted as closed as it would go, it still wasn’t a super tight MTL. The flavor of the tobacco mix came out nicely and I actually prefer a bit of a loose MTL so it was a good fit for me. I found the flavor production on the two included pods a little lackluster honestly. I just couldn’t find a sweet spot with the airflow that the pods produced and felt like the flavor wasn’t near as good as it was on the Trine that I recently reviewed.

Long story short, I bought my liquid from EC Blends for almost a decade, but last time I tried to order it became apparent that they no longer ship nicotine liquids... and I'm not sure why.

So I need to find another economical replacement, but none of the local shops have what I want, and their prices are crazy high - like 3X what I was paying from ECB.

My needs are simple: 60/40 VG/PG blend, or approximately so. Basic Peppermint flavor, no sweetener or cool-hit / menthol required, 18mg strength for Kanger Tech EVOD style vape pens (1.8ohm coil, 510 battery).

So what are my options? Can I mix my own, or maybe buy some from a local DIY blender? I'm in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
