So, because my country has so many bans, as online sales ban, flavour ban etc, etc.
I thought, lets go to a good vape shop in Germany. It was a bit of a drive, but I found a nice one.

I was browsing and then my wife (who does not vape or smoke) said, "Look, a bargain bin"

I found around 13 older RTA's from the bins that said 5 and 7 Euro. Everything brand new in boxes. Most were in plastic.

I also found some funny coloured Digiflavor Helix mods

And I bought a Dead Rabbit MTL RTA for full sticker price. Which was what I was actually looking for. I liked the reviews.

I thought most would just go into my "Museum", and for 5-7 Euro's each, I would not really care. So I just bought all boxes.
When home however, I build 5-6 (lost count) of them, and they are all good or some even awesome.



Tried the Galaxies, Bit drippy when filling, thought the airflow would be fiddly, but turns out good. Looks nice, Good flavour. Nice airflow.

Tried Dotmod dotmtl Plastic tank? wont crack? be careful not to knock of the glass when filling, tank is locked by the drip tip. Looks nice, good flavour. Nice airflow.

Tried Brunhilde, looks huge, more bulky but less tall than the Kayfun 5. Bit crazy with the 4 SS Cable wick. I never liked this system, but reviews say it wicks. Put in the two coils that came with it. Not sure, have CSS, but i think staple or multiple core clapton. Vapes just fine, just a bit crazy.

Tried the OBS Engine MTL, Actually no negatives. Nice stumpy look, vapes great, good flavour. Good airflow. Solid tank.

And of course the Dead Rabbit MTL RTA. I like it a lot. This tank made me realize that my Kayfun 5 does not tight enough. So after years of use, i modded my Kayfun to go tighter, still testing though
The Dead Rabbit delivers. I like the real tootlyness. Big drip tip, tight and looks great. Using it on the second smallest airflow, perfect.

All the ones I tried are top fill (or side fill Brunhilde)
All easy to build, most are like Kayfun 5. Only the Dotmtl has the wick gap in the threads, don't like this system, but was not an issue. Also has a strange wire clamp that clamps both leads with just one screw.

And then the craziest thing. I also bought a disposable to just try. A SKE Crystal Bar with the flavour Blue Fusion. It was a bit of a disappointment at first, on the way back in the car, it didn't want to start. But after blowing on it, it started. And my first drag was like WOW. It was like my first time i tasted Coca Cola. No, this does not taste like cola at all. But the flavour is such a huge explosion. Nothing I ever tried. I like Vampire Vape Heisenberg, I thought that was strong, but this was like vaping pure flavourings, and the worst part was that i really liked it. Awesome throat hit and flavour. So I am going to try to get this as a juice (it exists, but very hard to get in my country)

Will add some pictures later. Oh and the Crystal bar died when home, battery was under 3V, I fixed that.

On the back at the top there is an AFC slot for the passage of air towards the coil. The airflow is adjustable from MTL to RDL simply by rotating the cartridge.

Caveat, up front. The screen is dimming, so hopefully you are one of those mastermind fixer uppers who can replace the screen.

She comes with 2 extra sets of plates (see pics) and other than the screen issue, is in perfect shape.

The Dagger is pretty original, it has an aesthetic all it own with a unique silhouette that makes it stand out from the crowd. Its size, hand feel, and fit & finish really make it a mod worth checking out. Right off the bat it looks and feels way more expensive than it is. Its solid, with a finish that is almost bulletproof. The battery door swings up on a hinge and nothing rattles on the mod anywhere. There are magnet side panels that can be swapped for different designs, but right out of the box the carbon fiber panels are pretty 'dope' (not overly shinny, which is good). The packaging tube is well executed and again contributes to a rather premium experience. VO Tech has done a great job.

It performs well and has a decent battery life for a single 18650. The size is sort of perfect, not too big and really a great size to fit well in the hand. All the edges are nicely rounded to give a comfortable feel. The screen has a nice solid glass window that can take a hit (pretty scratch resistant). The buttons are solid too, and have a nice click to them. Also the mod is wide enough to accommodate (most) atties.

VO Tech has a gem of a mod with the Dagger. Not only is it well designed, built, and packaged. If you are in the market for a solid, premium, sexy little 75W mod then you might want to check this one out.

Explosive fire at site used by vape suppliers kills 1 outside Detroit, sends debris a mile away​

Clinton Township Fire Chief Tim Duncan said Tuesday morning that the building housed two businesses, one of them a distributor for the vaping industry called Goo which had more than 100,000 vape pens stored on-site. He said a truckload of butane cannisters had arrived within the past week at the building and more than half of that stock was still on site when the fire began.

He said the building also housed a business called Select Distributors that he said he believed supplied gas cannisters for the local vaping industry for vape pens, along with other products. He said those cannisters are believed to have accounted for the explosions that littered a large area with debris.

Today's review item is the Ares Finale RTA from Innokin. This is mainly a MTL Atomizer but can be used for RDL vaping as well. When I tell you that this is a bargain of a package I'm not kidding. First of all you get wire for building along with 2 pre-built coils, cotton, 2 MTL drip tips, extra glass tube, extra O-rings, 2 build tools along with a drop dead easy atomizer to build on. So recently I picked up a taifun gt4 pure glass rta and just noticed the center pin is basically flush with the 510 threads. Thankfully I know better than to put this on a mech. Now I'm bummed because all I use is mechs, the last vv/vw device I used was the provari p3.

I was thinking about replacing the center pin with a longer one. It seems like it's a regular hex screw.

Is this a bad idea? My paranoid side says it's not worth it, eat your loss and move on. My logical side is saying as long as the new pin is the same size just longer it will be fine.

What are your thoughts?
