Hi all, this is my first post.
I've just bought an INNOKIN ADEPT z-lide. Affter charging the Red light automatically goes out however I very rarely start with a Green light, usually Amber or still Red - either way it turns Red after a few vapes. Today I'm going to leave it and see how long it lasts on RED!
I've replaced the charging lead and charged with different adapters but result is the same. I've had the device just 3 weeks. Any advice would be appreciated.

These tests only note my personal ESTIMATED ratings for these batteries at the time I tested them. Any battery that is “rewrapped” (not in its original factory wrap) can change at any time! This is one of the hazards of using these batteries so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. Never use them outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C to help lower the risks and extend cell life, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
At under 4A (this cell’s continuous current rating) this is a good performing cell. It’s a touch better than the EVE 35V and just a bit lower performing than the Vapcell N40/N41. I don’t think you’d notice a difference between any of those cells in actual use.

This cell had a self- adhesive top insulating ring. I haven’t seen one of those in years and were typically used by the small rewrapping companies who had mostly-manual rewrapping setups. None of the automated wrapping done by the established companies use these type of rings since they come in sheets and can’t be handled by the machines. I don’t know why SAFD has done this but it is not a good sign in my opinion.

Some other info…

• The 40ME has a datasheet 10sec pulse rating of 12A. The voltage of a fully charged cell dropped to a bit under 3.5V for this pulse so it’s a reasonable rating if done only occasionally.
• The max allowed cell surface temp is only 60°C.
• There’s no CCC*** logo so IMO it was either made before Aug 1st, 2024, it’s not being sold in China (and wasn’t made there), or it’s a pre-production cell. Or SAFD is selling them illegally.
• Standard charge rate is 800mA.
• Max charge rate is 2A but that will shorten cell life IMO. Stay at 1A or lower to help with decent cycle life.
• The two cells I tested delivered 3972mAh and 3991mAh. This is above the cell’s 3900mAh minimum capacity rating but just below the 4000mAh typical rating. Since I cannot have the lowest capacity cell in the batch I am rating them at 3950mAh.
• The two cells had DC IR’s of 55.5mOhms and 59.2mOhms. This is not good consistency and is incredibly high, contributing to this cell’s low current rating.
• The datasheet weight is 48gms, +/-2gms and size is 18.35mm dia. (+/-0.15mm) x 65.0mm long (+/-0.2mm).

After a bit of testing on materials and circuit used, Lost Vape returns with the new series of box mods titled BT and debuts with the 200 model, therefore dual battery exclusively 18650. If the P series had completely eliminated the display, on the BT series it becomes a good 2.4 inches, it is not clear whether it is a throwback to the past decade, where large screens were fashionable or to entice those who use disposables given that many variants feature generous displays. The circuit too, after the Quest 2.0 used for years switches to the X 3.0 with many more vaping modes and even, Bluetooth connection with your smartphone. Centaurus BT200 sent free of charge by Sourcemore without receiving money for writing this text.



The packaging design recalls that of the M line single box version, with the plastic-coated cardboard sleeve that hides the heavy cardboard box with two magnetic panels, one of which features the Lost Vape logo. Inside are the BT200, USB Type-C cable, a black cardboard card with the instructions for the new version of the Quest circuit, the complete instruction manual, and the warranty.



Dimensions of 93 x 57 x 27 for 132 grams in weight, slightly more than what other manufacturers have proposed on the dual battery side this year but in line with the other Lost Vape boxes. The material after the polycarbonate of the P and N series returns to being aluminum alloy as on the M, more robustness but also more weight with a brushed finish for all colorations, including the one in my case with carbon alloy print.



Stainless steel cup of 19.5 mm with gold-plated pin and 510 threading. It is possible to install atomizers up to 26 mm without protruding. Big small change, the panel is no longer installed parallel to the body but is recessed in the upper part where the atomizer screws on. This means that installing 25 and 26 mm atomizers no longer hits against the panel itself, avoiding locking it.



The only removable panel on the BT200 is the "rear" one that covers the double 18650 battery compartment, slightly thicker than other boxes inspired by the rectangular shape brought back into vogue by Lost Vape with the M series. The seal is entrusted to the magnets installed inside the door, absence of play from right and left while there is the sensation that handling it the door moves slightly downwards.



Battery setup remains unchanged with the black satin ribbon marked Lost Vape to help with extraction, also facilitated by the gold-plated spring pins which are not very stiff. CE mark and disposal are printed on the side.



A novelty that more than anything marks a break with the past series and which consequently, can be the aspect that makes one opt for the purchase or the one that makes one completely discard it: the 2.4 inch TFT display. It's obviously not touch, just very large with consequently a slight increase in battery consumption but with the possibility of adjusting the brightness and a stealth mode precisely to limit battery use.



Despite the many novelties, the 3-in-1 Jog Dial returns, rotatable by 360 degrees to select the watts, fire upon pressing and battery indicator thanks to the different colors of the led which unfortunately cannot be deactivated. Given that compared to the M and N series the Quest X 3.0 circuit has many more customizations, the Set button also debuts, not only the Jog Dial. The on/off switch for turning on and off is also confirmed.



After years of service the Quest 2.0 goes into retirement in favor of the Quest X 3.0, much more customizable. Output from 5 to 98 watts with an increment of 1, from 100 to 200 with an increment of 5 and always paying attention that from 5 watts going backward one passes to 200. Furthermore to the watts, the battery indicator in %, puff counter and timer are always visible. For navigation, the only true command is the 3 clicks of the Set button to deactivate or activate the screen, stealth mode style. The wattage is in a perpetual lock state and the selection / unlocking of the watts and the items on the menu takes place via a single press of the Set button, rotation of the Jog Dial to select the various items and pressure of the same to change. Counting that the old 2.0 chipset had exclusively the Power and Turbo modes there are many more options, even if not all actually useful. TC does not have variable TCR but only 3 profiles and the only way to re-read and lock the ohm value of the coil is to unscrew and reactivate the atomizer; as a circuit it is oriented much more towards variable watt vaping. The only thing the app is really needed for is adding a personalized wallpaper (one in number) and the possibility of keeping up to a year of daily puffs in memory, diary style. All the remaining commands and settings are accessible from the box without needing anything else. In my case, despite having downloaded the app, probably due to my fairly old Android operating system there was no way to connect the BT200. Puff cutoff occurs after 10 seconds, Lost Vape does not state in the instruction booklet at how many V of the batteries the low voltage enters.



After 3 series of Lost Vape boxes with a minimal circuit, finally seeing the Quest X 3.0 and the various small structural optimizations was pleasing to me. Compared to all the manufacturers that have proposed the Jog Dial, and also Lost Vape's previous boxes, for the first time I see a perpetual wattage lock that must be unlocked every time; a detail that seems minor but avoids having to manually lock the wattage every time to prevent it from being varied.

The Drag X is powered by a replaceable 18650 or 21700 external battery and has a power output of 80 watts also using 3 power modes and has 3 display screen themes.

The Drag X also has animation but there are 3 different selections to choose from and like the Drag S they can be turned off as well. The Drag X also employs a touch screen for adjustments.
