Coconut, banana and lime are on offer, which supposedly got a good dose of cooling too. Even before tasting it, the description reminded me of a cocktail, somehow I couldn't imagine these three fruits put together any other way.
The smell, the mix of coconut and lime didn't really grab me, but it's not bad. A bit exotic and tropical, I'm not really used to these scents.
The flavours: intense and subtle as usual from the manufacturer's products, with coconut as a base, then lime and a barely perceptible banana blend, finishing with a cool koolada. On the inhale, the coconut and koolada blend, before the banana appears on the exhale, and the finish gets a good dose of tart lime, accompanied by a cool finish. The flavours are not sweetened in any way, which I found a little lacking, but perhaps that's what made the product itself so interesting and natural. The lime is tart and slightly tart, but doesn't overpower the distinctive coconut flavour. There's not much of the banana in the soup, a little extra that occasionally glints up and down during the simmering. So, for those who like more acidic and drier fruity creations, I recommend you give it a try, as natural and simple flavours can be used to make very delicious and unique pairings.
