This new powerful little device comes with a very strong 1200 mAh battery that lasts you for days, oppesed to disposables that you need to recharge during the day. With USB-C fast charging it finishes in about 30 minutes. The famous Caliburn pod gives you amazing strength, flavour and vapour - the best in this range. I was using one pod for a whole month in rotation, it has unbelievable longevity! It takes the 2.5 ml Caliburn G3 and the new 3 ml GPP cartridges as well. The kit comes with only one 0.6-ohm pod, which give you a decent RDL vape with huge vapor production at 25 W and I was using it with low 10-20 mg nicotine salts. It is easy to refill the pod through the side plug and had no leaks whatsoever since using the device for 2 months. Good built quality, it feels good touching the materials and playing with the rubbery lanyard holder. There is a led built into the top transparent part and is super cool - it is activated when vaping and indicates your battery state (green, blue, red). I couldn’t take a photo of it as it just lights up for a second. No fancy screen, settings or buttons, simple but mighty - just a very responsive auto-draw. The 1.2-ohm pod gives me a decent semi-restricted MTL vape at 11 W. Caliburn pods cannot be beaten!



I use this pod throughout the day for flavour rotation, it is filled with a 30 mg Watermelon Ice nic salt currently and I love it! It is ideal for a discrete (stealth) vaping since it fits in your palms covering the device.

Welcome to my site, today I would like to introduce you the Geekvape DIGI MAX R

This is a trendy, high-end professional device that is really suitable for DTL, RDL and MTL vaping enthusiast - without any compromise. I got it in pearl white colour and bought it discounted at Sourcemore and at Healthcabin it is also on sale. I was one of the first lucky ones to try it out pre-sales.

The same device comes in two different kits: the DIGI MAX R and the DIGI MAX. The R stands for replaceable - with this kit you will get one empty JR cartridge and two coils (0.4 and 0.6-ohm), while the DIGI MAX comes with two disposable J cartridges (0.4 and 0.6-ohm). There is minor price difference between the two, latter the more expensive. Both type of pods are interchangeable of course, but Geekvape gives you the freedom to choose between being an environmental friendly geek or a hassle-free user.



Quality built to the very details: a bright high-definition colour touch display with animations and different modes (Smart, Boost, Eco and Custom) and it displays the puff counter, battery percentage and your coil resistance. The boost mode only boosts to the maximum capacity of the coil (in my case 12 W), however in custom mode you can set it to the maximum of 80 W, increasing by 1 W increments, it doesn’t do round-robin. I don’t see where you can utilise this huge 80W performance, but for my high-level nicotine salts it is not necessary. Handy fire button and a very responsive auto-draw to choose from. The device boosts fancy and adjustable flowing neon led strips at both sides, which light on for a few seconds when vaping, paired with a blackhole animation on the screen - it is cool!



It packs a giga 3000 mAh battery capacity, lasting me almost a week in rotation and charges fast in about 20-30 minutes from 30 to 100% as I don’t like to let it drain fully.
The pod has a decent capacity of 5 ml and uses the Geekvape J coil family, which are packed in 5 and are sold at a very reasonable price. I found the initially provided 0.4 and 0.6-ohm coils were better with 6-12 mg freebase e-liquids for DTL/RDL vaping. A little bit of playing was needed with the airflow to find the right spot. I am using now the 1.2-ohm coils with nic salts with the airflow fully closed for the perfectly much sought restricted MTL experience. The coils give me awesome flavour and vapour and last me a good 2-3 weeks. Even with barsalts I get easily to 2000-2500 puffs with one coil and no leaks to date. It has a convenient side fill plug.



I am already using it 3 months to my very satisfaction. There are no scratches, the painting holds well and I didn’t scratch the screen neither. At the bottom you find the USB-C port, a lock button and a rubber protector around, which prevents wear and tear and gives stability when it is standing.

The only con I can mention is the airflow adjustment, which they’ve placed on the pod itself. Since I closed it for restricted MTL it doesn’t bother me at all. It has a good grip and is smaller than I thought, it weights a bit more than its concurrent brands, but the battery performance makes it up and I’ve never dropped it so far because of it.



This powerhouse is my reliable and true companion while driving – considering the outstanding battery and juice capacity I know it never lets me down. As a plus, it is a real eyecatcher in the car!

Welcome to my site, today I would like to introduce you the Vaporesso LUXE X

I selected the green colour and I find it a good choice, it goes well with the tobacco line. I bought it on sale at Sourcemore and it is also discounted at Healthcabin, for a spot price.

Vaporesso made a true artwork with this mighty little powerhouse. The built quality and design are professional to the very details. Starting from the hologram, the remarkable Luxe X branding and the new Avengers-like logo at the front, the small sparkling metal design around the responsive fire-button and the amazing sturdy transparent housing making the mainboard visible. It has no fancy display or settings just a 3-dot white led that indicates charge, which flashes when vaping. It is a mature and very reliable device.



The powerful 1500 mAh battery lasts me 3-4 days in rotation and with the 0.4-ohm pod you get a perfect close to mod-like DTL experience with freebase e-liquids. Within 30-40 minutes it is fully charged via USB-C. This little beast has completely replaced my big old box mods and tanks, as it is so much more convenient and provides same performance with the big 5ml juice capacity and the reliable long battery life. I bought the empty XR MTL pods with the 1.2-ohm GTX coils, as they are also compatible with the Luxe X. I find the thinner mouthpiece of the MTL pod more comfortable than the DTL pod. You cannot really use it for genuine MTL vaping though, the reason therefore is that there is no airflow control. You can turn the pod in its position for closing one air inlet of the pod, still it remains airy. Rather, it gives you a nice semi-restricted RDL draw with the high-ohm coils accompanied with beautiful flavour and vape density. I use it with 6mg tobacco flavour freebase e-liquids and it satisfies me for a variety next to my nic salt MTL vapes, to extend my cravings.



The coils last me for 2-3 weeks and gives consistent sweet flavours - the sweetness becomes somehow more apparent with the genial GTX coils. They are simply the best in class! The only con is the lack of auto-draw, which is a standard nowadays, however it is the perfect transition from a box mod into a palm fit mighty little device that lets you never down! Bottom filling and no single drop of leak since I have been using it for 4 months now. Price-wise the device is very convenient, the GTX coils are widely available and the quality is high-standard to Vaporesso.



It is my all-time TV watching and working companion!

Welcome to my site, today I would like to introduce you the new addition of the Kumiho family: the Kumiho Thoth G Lite

I got it in the ocean blue colour and won it on a giveaway at Healthcabin. It is a discrete, stylish and sleek well-built quality device with a decent 650 mAh battery that lasts me surprisingly 2-3 days. I really like the airflow-control at the side, which is exceptional in this range and it responds well. I leave the airflow 1/4 closed for a tight, yet flavourful MTL draw.



I was using the initial and only pod that came with the device, the 0.6-ohm pod with 10mg barsalt for 3 weeks in rotation, until my more preferred coils arrived, but the original was still tasting good when disposed. It is easy on juice consumption; I fill it up once a day and never let it empty below the minimum – it has never leaked so far and I am using the device a good 2 months already. No scratches, no fingerprints and paint is holding well. No fancy display, settings or buttons - just simplicity to constant satisfaction. It feels convenient, sleek and light in the hands.



The taste and vapour from this little pod are very decent for this price-range and I had no dry hits. The juice level window is a very handy addition.
It charges fast with USB-C in about 20 minutes and has a small battery led indicator (white, blue, red). The only con to me is the side filling plug that they’ve put at the wider side of the pod, meaning you have to fill it half horizontally and it is not easy to fully top it without messing with the e-liquid. Since then, I’ve got used to it though and I discovered that other well-established brands use the same technique.

I bought the 3ml empty THOTH cartridges with the 1.0 and 1.2-ohm coils from Healthcabin - it gives me the perfect restricted MTL vape experience with 30mg nic salts and an excellent throat hit. For the fraction of the price of the big brands G’s this is a no brainer and it is definitely hitting the same quality range. Kumiho even makes a good variety of 2ml prefilled 50mg nic salt pods for the THOTH series and vape juices which I have yet to try!



Having replaceable coils is a gem in this range of devices - I’ve only seen a few manufacturers, the rest only has disposable pods, which is a waste.

This is now my favourite vape for going on a walk with the dog or shopping and my security vape in the bed!

Here today we have the supposed "Best Pod System 2025" aka Argus G3 by VOOPOO. This sample was graciously provided to me by VOOPOO for the purpose of this review. I know exactly what you're thinking "Oh god another pod kit? That's all the market is flooded with!!" and you would be right, I'm sick of pod kits too. Except this one not only promises to be different, but is different. I'll explain why after the technical specs and information on this lil monster.

***Review***

I got this in the Aurora Purple around March 20th and have been running it since the 25th and in that time I haven't been able to get the claimed 5 days charge out of it, but I am running the kit at the max 18W for the .7ohm pod with wide open airflow and chain vaping on it so my results may be affected by that set of circumstances. Nonetheless, it has thoroughly impressed me and it outshines the OXVA NeXlim which is it's direct competitor, for the reason that follows: it hits like an RTA/RDA in the cloud and flavor department. Seriously at 18W it hits as hard as my Fat Rabbit Solo V2 in terms of both flavor and cloud production. But the 2 drawbacks for it are that, for me, it dies about every 2.5 days and needs a quick charge, which happens in about 30 minutes from dead to full (beating the claimed 45 minutes) and the fact that it's only a 30W kit versus competitors which are 35 to 40W kits. Now it more than makes up for a low maximum wattage by punching, rather effectively, above it's weight class with flavor and cloud. Now the themes are actually rather attractive and they add a bit of fun and flair to the device. I usually run the stock theme out of pure laziness, but the other themes, which I've experimented with, are interesting just not my cup of tea. I will say that the claimed 30 day life span of the pod may not be entirely out of the realm of possibility, but I've only been using it for 10 days so we shall see when the pod finally dies. I also like the fact that I can just slide this in my pocket on the go and get close to the level of clouds only usually achievable on an RTA/RDA, all without sacrificing flavor.

***Verdict***

Honestly? Don't knock it until you try it as it pleasantly surprised me how well this is built and how well the pods seem to be performing over the last 10 days. Thus far, I give it a solid 7.5/10. This is because it's hindered by the single button for all functions, lack of larger airflow and the lack of a removable coil pod.

I believe it is possible using advanced temperature control techniques for coils, especially in disposable devices which are more consistent across units and are less liable to be tampered with, to coat the coils with a fluoropolymer like Teflon (PTFE) or PFA while still preventing the coatings thermal depredation and production of harmful byproducts. This would, in theory, eleminate catalytic oxidation of juice resulting in fewer harmful oxidation products and lead to a better and more consistent taste over time.

Coils coated in this way would also be way easier to clean and way less likely to accumulate "crud" overtime because the primary mechanism for creation of such cruds is catalytic oxidation and subsequent polymerization of vape juice compounds easily sticking to the porous and inevitably textured surface of the metal (not to mention the increased chemical bonding of the crud to metals due to van der Waals forces which would be virtually absent from fluoropolymers).

Even ceramics don't offer this benefit as they are almost by definition porous. The coating should have a smooth surface down to the nano level, be chemically inert and not "sticky". All of these could be achieved with fluoropolymer coatings and when combined with the increasingly cheaper advances in forms of temperature control, could be very safe and effective.

Are there any alternative to the Gen 80 S out there with similar dimensions and weight (single 18650, 510 connector, 49 grams)? It seems they've been discontinued and i can't find anything comparably close to it's 49g weight.

Hi everyone, in the battery collection I had 3 perfectly good Molicel P26A's that over time the wraps had became damaged, and where I didn't have any spare wraps I just ended up putting them on the side and using my others with OK wraps.

The other day I realised how cheap wraps were, I got 10 different styled ones off of Ebay for just 94 pence that turned up today- they are a mixture of designs, some are PUBG themed which is not my thing but when it comes to safety who cares what it says on the wrap?

I removed the old wraps from the batteries, making a small slit at the negative end then just tore the wrapper up to the positive, making sure to save the insulating ring.

I was lucky with these wraps as they seem to be cut to the perfect length, a few MM overhang on both positive and negative end, and positioned the battery as dead centre as I could in the wrap.

I got my Mum's hairdryer out, and put it on its highest heat setting, and started at the positive end to get the insulator ring held in place first. The wrap started to shrink within a second, nicely covering the positive, then I ran the hairdryer over the middle of the battery, turning it as I went, then finally the negative end, which also shrank in place well.

So for under a quid I managed to save 3 of my batteries, they also probably have less use where I was not using them due to the damaged wraps so aren't as old as my other batteries, at least according to the date I wrote on them when I bought them.

I also have 7 spare wraps which are handy for now, just incase I nick or tear another one of my batteries.

Here is a picture of my first attempt at re wrapping a battery in years, if I can do it I assure you that anyone else can, and when it only costs literal pennies for each wrap there is no excuse for using a battery with a damaged wrap.

When I next get payed I am going to order more, so I have lots of spares as I will also be ordering some new batteries, but it is lovely to be able to bring some life back to my current batteries and bring them back into safe rotation when I use them.

OPERATION AND USE:
Let's start with the classic 5 clicks on the physical button to turn our device on and off, there are 6 modes F(t), pulse, eco, tc-ti, tc-ss, tc-ni, by simultaneously pressing the button to raise and lower the watts we block the watts, a safety feature that I really appreciate to avoid errors, by sliding the button up we bring the device to block in this case it will remain on but it will not be possible to carry out operations or use it

MENU:

BATTERY:
I appreciated that we were given the choice between the 21700 and the 18650, as a compulsive vaper with the 21700 I found the autonomy I was looking for even smoking at high wattages using the 0.2 ohm Coil at 65 watts I managed to cover almost two days of use obviously the weight suffers a lot but it is a compromise that I am happy to take also because thanks to the two adductors for the 18650 making the change is a moment






GTI Coil:
They are the most successful Vaporesso Coils for vapers who vape in rdl, I think every expert vaper knows them, the aromatic yield is exceptional and I think it is a workhorse of Vaporesso now I will now list the vaping tests I have done:

The 0.2 ohm is more suited to my type of vaping at 55 watts I obtained an excellent aromatic yield and also a large quantity of vapor I have not found any defect in this Coil in which I inserted one of my favorite licorice liquids truly excellent, the activation is really very fast thanks to the axon chip the quantity of vapor and the aromatic yield are truly satisfying
