► Vaporesso Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini; First Impressions:
The Xros family expands with two renewed kits; one has the dual activation mode and adjustable afc and is XROS 3, the other has a fixed regulation of the air passage with the only automatic activation mode of the puff and this is XROS 3 Mini which is more suitable for beginners. These are two extremely portable Pod devices with compact dimensions and identical 1,000mAh battery. XROS 3 weighs 4 grams more, and is slightly taller than Xros 3 mini. Although these are two entry-level devices both seem well made and well finished, but this is to be expected from a manufacturer like Vaporesso which since its foundation in 2006 has been appreciated in over 60 countries and regions around the world by establishing substantial leadership of the brand in Europe, America and emerging markets.



► Vaporesso Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini; How they are made:
In the image below you can see the slight dimensional difference between XROS 3 and XROS 3 MINI, this difference is due to the fact that the internal mechanics of XROS 3 include the power key which is slightly more bulky, while XROS 3 MINI with the only automatic mode has smaller internal mechanics, so its body size is also smaller. With XROS 3 you can turn on / off the device with 5 quick clicks on the button, vape indifferently with the help of the button or automatically. While with XROS 3 MINI you can vape directly and without the aid of any buttons.



► Vaporesso Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini; Operation Guide:
* Both devices use an LED indicator to check operation and to identify their charge level as follows:

I think they will both work well, also because Vaporesso's famous Pulse Mode promises Top performance and taste. XROS 'extensive disposable pod platform includes solutions suitable for both restricted MTL use and loose MTL use. The chipset is also able to develop a high power for the best operation of the 0.6Ω cartridge included in both kits.



► Vaporesso Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini; AFC:
In reality XROS 3 MINI does not have air flow regulation, the passage of air towards the coil occurs only through two small opposing holes which, among other things, are also present on XROS 3. These two holes allow an MTL extraction of restricted type on both KITs.



The true AFC system is additional and is therefore only present on XROS 3, the sliding button that adjusts the opening of the AFC if it is opened allows an additional inflow of air for very tasty RDL extractions, especially when they are combined with the 0.6Ω cartridge. With the AFC system closed, XROS 3 also takes the air through the two small fixed side holes and in this case the MTL extraction is equivalent between XROS 3 and XROS 3 MINI.

The Cartridge compartment on Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini features two magnets, two pins, ducted air ducts and a small sensor that creates the necessary vacuum for automatic shooting. The type-c charging socket is located on the bottom, always on the bottom there are the legal logos and the battery capacity which is 1,000mAh.



► Vaporesso Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini; XROS 3 Cartridges:
The disposable cartridge XROS 3 with its two magnets mirroring those present in the compartment / pod fits into the mod in a simple and stable way. In the XROS 3 kit there are two different cartridges, one of 0.6Ω and one of 1.0Ω. What I would have preferred is that XROS 3 Mini also had two cartridge options, but in the XROS 3 MINI kit there is only the 0.6Ω cartridge, this is very strange because XROS 3 MINI only works in MTL mode and the 1.0Ω cartridge it would no doubt have been more suitable.



The cartridge contains 2ml of e-liquid and is built in transparent PCTG, the special refill system called "shell pod opening" guarantees excellent sealing and speed in the refueling operation. The nozzle is comfortable for the lips and has an internal hole of about 2mm, the multilayer silicone inside the cartridge prevents leaks, furthermore, with the ultrasound processing of the airways, reliability and the correct supply of air towards the coil.



Another thing I really like about the XROS line is that the new cartridges are compatible with all previous XROS devices, so we have several choice options for cartridges.



► Vaporesso Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini; Vaping test & final conclusions:

• Xross 3 Pod with 0.6Ω (2ml) mesh coil:
You will find this sub-ohm cartridge included in both kits both by purchasing XROS 3 and by purchasing XROS 3 Mini, but you will get maximum RDL performance only with XROS 3 which is equipped with the additional AFC system, the vapor clouds ( with open AFC) are dense and abundant, with an excellent flavor yield with creamy and fruity liquids. Unfortunately XROS MINI is less suitable to support the RDL vape, because the two small side holes of the fixed type are able to carry a restricted air flow and of the MTL type only. However if you are a lover of hot steam and the hit in the throat you will find the 0.6Ω pod paired with XROS MINI quite interesting.

• Xross 3 Pod with 1.0Ω (2ml) mesh coil:
Perfect for MTL, this mesh coil cartridge is excellent if used on XROS 3 with AFC fully closed, unfortunately it is not present in the XROS 3 MINI package, but I have tested it and it guarantees a very good narrow MTL vape even on the XROS 3 MINI , the steam is lukewarm and the taste is confirmed as good with creamy liquids.

Essential, practical and economical but also extremely robust, these are the Xros 3 and the Xros 3 Mini by Vaporesso. The AXON chip with pulsed mode guarantees performance that until recently was unthinkable with disposable pods like these. Plus, the 1,000mAh battery life is long and the charging time is short. Not having encountered any inconvenience, I can safely recommend Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini because currently in their (mod + disposable Pod) category they are among the best entry-level kits on the market.

Hello,

I'm having problems getting any flavor out of my (authentic) Kayfun. It's my first rebuildable and I feel like I've tried everything, I've wicked it close to 50 times and changed ~10 coils and I just can't get it right. I've watched about every single video on YouTube about it and they all seem to have a different method, yet I just can't get it right.

I got it right one time, and that was on my first ever build, however it was popping and crackling so much that I figured it wasn't normal. I eventually found out that was because of a broken o-ring in the chimney which I now have changed. I'm guessing that caused it to wick very efficiently? However, even if I use it as a dripper it's muted, which leads me to believe it's not a wicking problem. I don't get dry-hits and it's never leaked.

There's no off-taste, I get good amounts of vapor, but it's always just muted.

I keep my (2.5ID) coils 1mm-2mm (closer to 2mm) above the airflow. I only have 28g kanthal wire and I've tried both contact and spaced builds, 5-8 wraps. I've tried various thickness of the cotton. I vape at 12-16 watts, depending on the ohms.

I've used cotton bacon prime, but now I'm using BP Mods Pro cotton 2.5mm as I feel like it's easier to be consistent with.

What can I be doing wrong? This tank surely can't be this finicky, when most of the reviews says it's easy to build and they all seem to have a different way of building and wicking it. I should have got it right by accident by now. It's not vapers tongue and it's not the juice as it gives me great flavor in my Zlide tank.

It's the 22mm tank and I'm using the 4ml cap.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, suggestions for 28g kanthal coil builds etc, so I can eliminate at least one of the variables while troubleshooting my building and wicking. I'm so close to giving it up and buying a pod.

I've brought you a beverage flavouring, a popular orange soda that everyone knows. You can smell the carbonated orange juice in the aroma alone, which tells you that this is going to be a sweet and for me, not an all day soup. It's not that I don't like the sweeter flavours, but I can't drink the soda itself all day. Going in you get a strong and sweet orange flavour that saturates you quite nicely. And on the way out, the soda appears, almost bubbling at the end of your tongue as you drink the drink. I mixed the flavouring at 10%, but it was still quite sweet. If I compare it to the original soda, it has about twice as much sweetener and therefore you don't really get the acidity of the orange. After two or three tanks, the sweetness overpowers the orange, which gets a bit stale in your mouth. I can't imagine anyone mixing this at 20%, I think that would be very unhealthy. I wouldn't say it's not delicious, I just have a problem with the proportions. It does give back the refreshing taste, smell and carbonation, but it's very over-sweetened. It's typical of the taste that after the first tank you say "yeah, that's it, strong flavours, very tasty" then the second tank "yeah, not bad" but you only quietly comment on that, by the third tank you're letting it go "it'll be good in a few months" - trusting it will be good

I've really enjoyed several of Real Tobacco Extracts juices, and now out of my old stash. I left messages on RTE's website asking if they were still around and still willing to ship to Massachusetts.
I wasn't enthusiastic about sending $$ unless I was comfortable they were there.
Never got a reply. From past experience, Evan has been really responsive.
I suppose their website is still alive but the company ain't.

So i have been vaping for a while now trying different aromas every time, but most of the times the flavor is meh.

My question is regards to mixing 2 aromas together. I like to have a freshness to my liquid and decided i'd buy some standalone strawberry, orange, kiwi,... aroma and a few bottles of mint aromas. Most of these aromas should be mixed at 15% according to the site. Let's say i want to mix the strawberry and the mint aroma. I want a combination of them both, but I want the strawberry to come out really well.

Should i just mix the Strawberry at 15% of my liquid and add 10% of the mint, so i just use less base?
Or should i stay at 15% in total and go for 10% strawberry and 5% mint?

I'd love to hear your guys' opinion on this!

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone out there has the same issue....?
I actually hope a representative of Vandy Vape sees this...and hopefully gives an explanation.
I'm at my wits end here. The problem is specifically with the 0.6 ohm coil....I use it in the Jackaroo pod. I've bought a few packs some months ago, and almost half of them don't wick properly. Right from installation (I do drop and soak properly before use) some coils just don't stay wet. After a few pulls it gives off a burnt taste.
The 0.3ohm coils don't do that though.
My thinking is the cotton isn't tightly contained enough between the two casings inside the coil.
If it was a cotton issue, the 0.3 would do that to.
Hopefully I just bought a bad batch...although i'm very reluctant to buy more of these 0.6 coils.
Can anyone shine any light one this plz.
