Hi everyone, I have only in about the past month or so became active on the vaping forums again, I had around a 4 year break due to mental health issues which are now thankfully on the mend.

This means I am using a lot of older RTA's and RDA's, and a few days ago came across the Steampipes cabeo, and really liked its innovative wicking system, but could only find a clone that cost £19.31 from China.

I have nothing against clones, I just didn't want to wait for China shipping then was told about the Aspire Kumo tank which is a collab between aspire and steampipes using the same wicking system, at this point I knew I needed to have one.

On another forum in the classifieds I managed to get hold of one that is in great condition and still boxed for £12, also it was in black which I wanted as I don't have many black RTA's.

Can anyone comment on this tank or give any tips for using it? I will be using a bigger coil than the standard 26G SS316L roundwire coils I usually build with, I might use a twisted 26G wire for more surface area and to run a bit more power.

I am just really looking forward to having a newer style RDTA as I feel like I have fallen behind with the latest tech, for example I don't yet own a Boro out of my 52 mods, but that is another story.

So any tips, thoughts, or anything that may help with the Kumo would be much appreciated!

My gripnade & siege modz were recently stolen from my vehicle (I don't hold much hope for thheir recovery)...hoping someone has a gripnade in a box, drawer or elsewhere that I could get to replace my favorite mod. Recently placed an order for 1 gallon of Delosi 24mg 50/50 pg/vg nicotine from NicBase after reading some good reviews here and elsewhere. Upon receiving it, noticed it was clear and odorless. Great! Also ordered a bottle of their RY4, as I'm a big fan of Flavor West's version, which is either hard to find, or no longer being made. Not sure which, but I've been a fan of ry4 since trying Dekangs way back when it was the original. Upon opening the flavor, I noticed it smelled more like TFA straight tobacco, which I do not like. I detected a slight bit of vanilla, but no caramel at all really. Some flavors smell different than they taste when vaped, so I decided to mix a small batch @ 7% flavor. I vape high nic since I was a former heavy smoker, and have no desire to stop vaping for the foreseeable future. First impressions were not good. The flavor is slightly medicinal, with no caramel or vanilla really. Just slightly sweet. No tobacco undertone either. As for the nicotine... Little to no throat hit, which was shocking, considering the nic and pg level. I'm a mtl vaper almost exclusively, and throat hit is the 2nd most important thing for me after flavor. I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue with Delosi unflavored nicotine? I find it hard to believe there is anywhere near 24mg in what I got. I've had Nic from most major vendors over the years, and this is probably the first time I've had an issue with no throat hit. Anyone who is a former smoker knows just how important it is. I reached out to them and am awaiting a reply. My hopes of getting a resolution are pretty low though. Once you open it, you're almost always out of luck. But you don't know what you have until you actually try it. Sorry for the lengthy post. If you've made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read it. Hello everyone, I have been away from building my own coils and both regulated and mechanical mods for about 4 years due to mental illness, but am recovering now and building my own coils and doing my own Eliquid again.

During this time my collection of 52 mods just sat untouched, and I am going through them all to get them working again.

I am now trying to get the AV Able back to its former glory, but I can not fully disassemble the mod. I can unscrew the bottom of the fire button and remove the magnets, but the section of the fire button that actually connects to the tube is so corroded it is stuck fast.

I have tried using rubber gloves for extra grip, but it just won't budge. I am currently soaking the mod in boiling water to see if this makes it expand and with rubber gloves I will be able to get it apart?

Does anyone have any tips that I can try to get this mod apart, so I can properly clean the copper parts of the mod internally and get it working?

I have included a photo of the inside of the firing button so you can have an idea how dirty it has became, I really want to save this mod so thank you for the help!
