Lounge Lizards / Misfits / Free Thinkers / Bohemians & the Forgotten :: Young at Heart Only

I'm so excited. All summer I've been thinking about getting our deck power washed, sanded and painted and the lattice around the bottom replaced. My neighbor just gave me the name of a guy so I called him and he came out yesterday to look over the work to be done. He can start the job on Monday!! Woohoo! I really didn't think it was wise to wait until after the winter. I can check that off my list of projects to worry about.

@Rat2chat2 The stores put out Christmas stuff about the same time the Halloween stuff was put on the shelves.. I think that is ridiculous, but what do I know?

A woman I worked with told me one year just after Halloween that she was done her Christmas shopping! Maybe she was only buying for 1-2 people? We really only buy for the grandkids and have one pollyanna with the adults - and sometimes that's a donation to their favorite charity instead of a gift. Still, I can't imagine being done shopping that early. Of course we have 5 birthdays in Nov. and Dec. so that complicates things, but still. I don't even want to think about Christmas yet.

The Lurker Thread

He said that as long as he had been working there, he had never seen a radio where the sound would come and go after installation.

They either nicked a wire during installation or there's a loose pin in the connectors. Either way, an absolute pain in the backside to troubleshoot.

(and I don't have to stand there and guide him)

Not to mention, get blamed for being off by 3 inches.

Dash cam installation was easy peasy. Took all of 5 minutes. However, the :censored: app must have been created to irritate the hell out of people that know what they're doing. Signed up for cloud storage which supposedly works as the camera is in use as long as it's connected to a wifi network. No problem sez I, activate my hotspot and connect the camera. Then the app STILL insists on being connected to a wifi network (I usually do not have wifi activated on the phone unless I'm at home). Stupid app can't differentiate between a hotspot connection (which technically IS wifi) and a normal wifi connection. Garmin is going to get an earful on that one.

Other than that, it's a pretty slick setup. Can't even see it from inside the car (it's tucked behind the mirror) and you really have to look closely to see it from outside the car. The only issue I have (and it's my fault) is my toll tag blocks part of the view. Not sure if I'm going to do anything about it or not. We'll see. I'll upload some images later. For a tiny little device, it's pretty good.

Let's keep the Smok RPM 25w Alive! ✌

It is impossible for a stock coil atty to be better than a good rta, there are natural limitations a stock coil has and will always have.
But they have become significantly better.

Negative news is vape and children & youth. We have a part of the industry that has low ethics, it would have helped a lot if they looked one two three years ahead, but it doesn't happen, getting a piece of the pie is most important.

I have always said, disposables, pre filled pods, were the beginning of the end for vape.

What's under your lip/in your nose right now? - Part 2

Today is a sad, sad day. I finished my last can of Jakobsonns.
I feel your pain. I don’t look forward to running out. It was the same way when thunder raspberry was no longer being made. You find a favorite that you use for years then it’s gone.
