Wow , I finally got 'caught up' on this thread, been thoroughly enjoying so many of y'alls mods and builds here!! A good bunch!

Haven't been active on here for literally years now, and I've never ever ordered anything from China.... but I recently got into boros and need some drip tips, bridges, etc. Where are any of y'all ordering from these days, and are there any US vendors that have extensive supplies to choose from ? Any tips greatly appreciated!! Thanks for sharing!

We went to Menards tonight. The wife wanted some plastic shelves for the basement and a license plate cover. There were some Irwin pliers in their sale ad that I was going to buy but they ended up being online only.

Got around to building the HB solo; easy build and wick, so far so good. Went with a ss tricore 2.5mm 6 wrap .25r af about 2/3 open 27.3 watts. Really liking it, will probably try 4.5mm legs next build. Had help...

Been wrestling with my Kayfun 5. Never had a tank with adjustments on the tank before. I've figured out most of it now. I had it on a Solo, The Solo had been going bad in TC mode and kept resetting the resistance so I started using it in power mode. Late last night it started resetting the resistance in power mode with the K5. Thought it was the Solo but I moved the tank to a Z80 and the same thing happened. Finally spotted a screw on the end of the tank's 510 that was loose. Tightened it up and everything was fine again.

The only trick I haven't tried yet is taking the deck out, and I think I know how to do that. So far every time I put in a new coil or wick I stripped the whole tank down.

It's been fun figuring out something new. Haven't had to do that for years.

I have a pretty good variety of the 77 brand pouches that I work into rotation. I have gotten used to the crushed ice by Nick and Johnny and have been using it in place of the jakobsson mint. I still have some jakobsson left but wanted to get a handle on a new rotation since I won’t be able to get it once I’m out. I’m also using a little of the moose mint but only got two rolls before shipping stopped. I’m good for quite a while with what I have on hand now.
